Nice hotel in the heart of Little Italy. Walking distance from entertainment with various dining options. Quiet, safe, friendly staff. It’s good for couple of days stay. No parking though but wasn’t issue for me since I didn’t bring my car. Public parking available two blocks away for $25/day.

Location was great. Did not love that street parking needs to be paid by 8am or pay for their parking lot 3 blocks down. Ended up being more convenient that expected, but would say this should be included in costs.

The only parking I could find nearby cost $50 for 15 hours. But otherwise the hotel was great and the location is excellent. And the price was fantastic!

We booked this property for just one night because it was close to the airport and looked decent for the price. Overall it was okay. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. However, while searching for a hotel for the night I specifically booked something that included parking (Expedia stated this was an amenity included), however after I booked I didn’t realize parking was an extra $25 charge and about a 4 block walk away. The room was relatively clean except for huge dust bunnies in the corners under the night stands that grossed me out. Seems as though they don’t clean under those at all. Also the shower did not work at all. After waiting for their maintenance person that ultimately didn’t arrive, They offered us another room to shower but we declined as we were on a time crunch, needing to get to the airport.

We had a really nice stay, we were only there for a night but it provided everything we needed. The location was great and very close to Little Italy, purchase the parking option. It is a couple minute walk but worth it in the long run, as the parking adds up quick.

a catholic church was right across the street which meant a lot for my wife and I. It was in a nice location close to everything.The fact that parking was about 4 blocks away was a big disappointment,the rooms are very small not enough room to just sit and relax for 2 people. the refrigerator froze all our drinks, no dressers to put our clothes in.Thankfully the young lady Macy in the front desk made us feel very welcomed

Horrible experience. Workers were too loud, which didn't allow me to sleep at all. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and I found roaches in my room. Also, the parking was too far from the hotel. I'd highly recommend going somewhere else. I wish they'd do something to make it right.

The location in Little Italy is good and that’s about the only thing besides a Smart TV, Starting off with the bed that I booked was for a Queen and I received a much smaller bed, which was very uncomfortable. The sheets were dirty. The parking situation you have to pay $25 quarter of a half a mile away or you can park close by for $50 overnight, the room is important. I saw mold and rust in the room, which explains the smells. Looks like an old hotel did some minor repairs and that’s it.

The parking was so bad but luckily we didn’t have to move the car so that wasn’t an issue but parking isn’t good. Convenient to restaurants and there is a cute farmers market too The rooms were outdated but got the job done. Questionable on the cleanliness and a little smelly but The staff is friendly and attentive.

The gentleman who greeted us at the front desk each morning, checked us in on our arrival and checked us out on the day of our departure, was a complete delight! Very kind, had wonderful recommendations, helpful, and kind for our whole stay. The room was also very clean and neat, which we appreciated. I liked the water dispenser on the first floor, too.

This was a fantastic location! The room was cute and perfect for one person. Dark, though. It basically faced a concrete wall. So didn't make sense to even open the window during the day. But for a quick overnight and great walking distance to Little Italy (next door) it was awesome. Short trips I would stay here, longer I might request a room that had a better view if they have them.

Perfect location of you dont have any trouble sleeping with a noice old AC this is a perfect stay in the middle of little Italy. Confy bed and good shower.

The rooms were very poorly insulated, so could hear all the noise from guests next door. There was a lot of humidity and therefore a bad smell in the room. The location of the hotel however is great and very practical for walking around and at proximity of several restaurants

The guy that greeted me was extremely rude his name was Manny, I spoke to him on the phone and he made an exception and said I can check in at 2pm , when I arrived at 11:45am I spoke with him and he said to me “ you can check in at 2:30pm now “ So I responded and said but I thought you said 2 pm over the phone , then he responded with “ I’ll make it 3 pm if I want too and if you don’t like it leave and go stay somewhere els” They should not have a person like that working there with a bad attitude and extremely rude. Also the pillows in my room 102 smelled of body odor, didn’t smell clean at all. Then I paid for parking $25.00 dollars and when I tryed to leave the parking the attendant told me that those tickets had no credit on them , that they were already expired. So I feel like I was robbed all around, altogether a terrible experience at Urban Boutique hotel, I would not recommend it or ever stay there again.

From the minute I called Manny at the front desk to request an early check-in and was met with a kind and willing employee who wanted to help us out, I knew we made the right choice in booking the Urban Boutique Hotel. Though the property and rooms are on the small side, they provide everything you would need for an enjoyable stay in Little Italy. The location is second to none, literally steps away from the all the dining and action. We will definitely book a stay at the this property in the future. Thank you Manny and the staff for providing a great stay!

Staff was amazing, best part of my visit. Kept us safe and were so kind and helpful. Each employee I encountered here provided excellent service. They were even willing to bring 3 am Uber eats up to my room. Thank you guys!!!!

The staff was absolutely lovely and very helpful the entire length of our stay. The room was clean, cute & very comfortable. We could not have picked a better spot, staying around the corner from the main plaza in Little Italy was the perfect vibe for a romantic trip, not to mention a short walk to the trolley station which made getting around a breeze. We did not partake in the free breakfast, because we found an espresso bar the first morning that stole our hearts, but it looked decent if you're trying to not buy every meal! I would 10/10 recommend Urban Boutique to anyone staying in Downtown SD.

We ended in room closest to lobby but they let us check in early so we didn’t have to lug bags around. It was very quiet room. Breakfast was minimal (croissants, yogurt and apples). Great location to Iittle Italy, short walk to Gaslamp and the train to Snap Dragon. One of the more reasonable priced downtown hotels. Staff were friendly.

Everything was great ! Room was clean , friendly staff, and breakfast was nice . Location is very convenient to all the shopping and good restaurants in little Italy . Spent 3 days here and didn’t have to Uber anywhere due to being close to everything. Highly recommend this place

Great place to stay for a few nights. People at reception was wonderful and really helpful. They have a parking lot a few blocks away from the building and it cost $25 dlls. A mini Market across the street and restaurants too. Very centric location.

This hotel is right on the heart of a really fun neighborhood full of restaurants, bars, and cafes. There's a nice farmer's market on Saturdays too. And there's relativity easy to access public transit nearby. The hotel itself was fairly nice and the highlight was the friendly and helpful staff. The halls smelled strongly of cleaner and were hot, but the room was cool and comfortable. Plus i was on the 4th floor and didn't hear any noise from the restaurants and bars below. I was surprised that the free breakfast is gone since covid. Staff told me the breakfast room has been converted into another hotel room so it's clearly not coming back. For me, the great location was worth it but if you're looking for an included breakfast, look elsewhere.

Great no-frills hotel stay. Had everything we needed for a stay in San Diego. Close to the airport and walkable to Downtown area. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast but there are a great selection of places to eat in the immediate vicinity. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Chilled and hot water dispenser in the hall as well as ice machine, and fridge in room were very convenient.

Location is definitely a plus; the property is located in Little Italy, next to plenty of dining options and walkable strees. The property itself is just a place to stay for shower and bed, no breakfast. The rooms are small, very basic, the building is old, but maintained. The hotel doesn't have a parking, they offer a parking that is 4 blocks away, but there is a hight limit. Guests with large SUVs cannot be accommodated. That was our struggle, we found another parking, a bit more expensive. The negative side around the entire downtown is the problem with homelessness. Urine smell all around.... The city must work on finding a solution.
