I would rate this property below average. We were NOT warned the elevator was out of commission - this is something that should have been on their website information. It wasn't. It supposedly will be repaired June 30, 2024. Before you book a stay, I would call them to make sure the elevator works. I'm 68 years old (with bad knees) with a disabled daughter - they placed us on the 3rd floor. Needless to say, it was an uncomfortable stay having to lug our luggage up all those stairs and have to climb them every time we left for an activity. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable although we found trash left in the hallways that sat there for hours. Both pools were nice though the staff was slow at opening the outside pool in the mornings. All in all, we would not recommend staying here.

Front desk not friendly at all couldn’t even check earlier when they’re an hour early. They won’t let me in which is fine I understand but when I checked out, I gave them two hours early. How nice is that? Got charged for amenities $22 per night additional from the hotel stay which I wasn’t aware of and never have happened to me. The gym was not even available till 9 AM. Most hotels has availability 24 seven with your card key. This one they had a card key but they will lock the gym until 9 AM which was NOT! convenient. I like to go to the gym at 7AM and wasn’t able to, maids don’t don’t know how to knock the doors they just walk in on you just because they have the key very unprofessional. They need to get trained better. carpeting was dirty in my room and on the elevators as well. My room phone had no service. I had to go at the front desk and ask they came up and looked at it will take care of it and never happened. Had to used my own personal phone to call for towels . Will NEVER stay at the Wyndham hotel ever. and those pictures online they are too good to be true especially the pool.

Overall, the hotel was clean. The room was clean. The only problem was the pool and hot tub area was under reconstruction, though the hotel did refund the resort fee. excellent breakfast a lot of variety.

This is a great value. The mini-water park is a gem, especially when it's 90 degrees. Everyone was so happy at the breakfast area. Staff are great. Quiet hallways. What is not to like?

Several hotel options (Ramada, Hampton Inn, etc.) across the street from Wingate and down the road there’s a motel option (Motel 6) as well. KwikTrip convenience store nearby. Culver’s, Pizza Hut, Denny’s right next to Wingate too. Tesla supercharger also next to Culver’s. Very nice area with the water parks, MagiQuest game room and a dinner show entertainment spot nearby too. Walmart 1.5mi away for anything more. My only advice is to open the Wingate fitness center earlier than 9am….🕘 With the age restriction, there shouldn’t be much noise, if any at all, to worry about. And, if noisy, address it, but don’t restrict the time from 9am to 9pm. At 6am, I’d like to swing a couple of dumbbells. This is not a noisy activity.

The hotel and facilities were nice but the rooms did not feel very clean. Very dirty around the perimeter and the fold out sofa bed did not have the appearance of being cleaned and remade with fresh bedding. We heard rumors of bed bugs and Orkin was on site during our stay. I guess it's good they are taking care of it if true. We did not see any bed bugs in our room but the room not being well cleaned really had us feeling nervous and paranoid about it. The pools were fantastic for the kids and the area had plenty of options for dining. We did wish the breakfast ran a little later than 9. When they say it ends at 9 they are not joking. All food was promptly removed from the breakfast area. Not even a yogurt or piece of fruit could be found after that time! The staff we encountered were all friendly. If the rooms had been clean and we didn't have the concern for bed bugs the stay would have been perfect.

The carpet was dirty, hallway center was a different color in the center. Only noticed because the edges were so light. Room itself was ok but the bathtub did not drain and yuck was coming out of the drain. The showerhead barely worked.

The cleanest hotel ever! They cleaned probably 8 times in the 6 hours my kids spent in the pool. Our room had the most pleasant clean smell. The breakfast was amazing, the room service options were affordable with kid-geared options too! We loved the pool area- perfect for young kids in the dells! We will be back often for sure!

We booked a 2 room hotel room. Two queen beds in one room and a king in the other room. This is perfect for a family with multiple children. The room was very clean and the hotel was also clean. Staff was very nice. The pool area fit our needs as we were there for a sporting event. It checks all the boxes and was reasonably priced. This is our 2nd stay and have good experiences both times.

Room was clean, comfortable beds, nice towels, in-room coffee/tea maker, microwave, mini fridge and darkening curtains. I would change to shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers (secured & sealed) - instead of tiny bottles. I have long hair and with three people the tiny bottles are not enough. The manager, Dawn, was great. She was very attentive, reactive, customer oriented and was a good role model for her employees. All the employees stay busy and keep the hotel, pool/water park area, breakfast room very clean and they are always organizing and cleaning. Coffee/espresso, various teas, hot cocoa are in the lobby 24/7 which I enjoyed. If you’re like me you like teas at night and espresso/coffee in the AM. It’s available. The pool, hot tub and indoor water park (12 & under) are a perk - my 5 year old granddaughter was playing from AM to close. It’s a great place for kids and adults. Will return when in Wis Dells.

All the light switches in our room were placed in reverse which made it really confusing throughout our stay. We arrived to breakfast 5 minutes before closing and were not allowed in. I came here because I stayed here before and loved it but I will not be staying here again.

When we first went to check into the hotel, things started off a little rocky. There was an independent contractor servicing the pool who wasn’t very friendly at all. At first I didn’t realize it was an independent contractor so I brought up my concerns to the hotel. They immediately addressed it and didn’t take my concerns lightly. The blond girl who checked us in was probably the most amazing hotel employee I’ve ever encountered in my life and I travel a lot. Tom the Gm was also phenomenal. The staff is friendly and accommodating, hotel is very clean and has a relaxing vibe to it. I like how the indoor pool and hot tub are open 24hrs for adults. The outdoor pool was great to relax by and cool off in. All in all I would definitely stay here again!

We booked here for our anniversary through "the travel website thats starts with Ex". We arranged for a sitter and someone to take care of our dogs for the first time in years (literally). The hotel called us the morning we were checking in to say they had given our room to someone who wanted to extend their stay AND the only way to get our refund was for ME to call Expedia. After an hour on hold with the travel company we got our money back but this experience was the worst Ive ever had with a hotel (except the time our local Wyndham promised a shuttle for our wedding guests then didnt provide it - so I guess maybe this was a fitting anniversary surprise lol). Never again will I extend my trust (or money!) to this hotel brand. But if you take a chance, save yourself the headache and book direct.

At first the stay was amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. However after, we realized we left items in our hotel room. When calling to request to come get the items, they first told us no one found them, then they told us they would call us back once they retrieved them because the room hadnt been cleaned (4 hours after we lelft) After over 40 mins of waiting with no call, we called back. They said they would go look, they never were going to call us back. My husband drove an hour and a half back to the hotel in hopes we would get the items back because they couldnt call us to say they did in fact find the items.

The location was perfect, plus they had an indoor/outdoor pool so when you were tired of the crowds it was very enjoyable to relax in your own area. Loved the place, close to everything and able to walk to a few restaurants nearby. Breakfast was a huge benefit. Overall great stay.

For the price this is a very nice place to stay. The staff are nice and friendly. The place is very clean and I feel comfortable staying here. The knock would be it is away from downtown area of the dells but you can't beat the price/quality. I will stay again.

The property was clean and easy to get around. Pools were clean and great for younger kids. It was an easy drive to downtown and the major attractions but far enough that it wasn’t noisy or alot of crowds. Staff was nice, helpful and the breakfast was good and an easy way to feed a lot of kids early and get out day going
