Tru By Hilton Wisconsin Dells

Very clean hotel. I liked how quick the check in process was. I was able to get my hotel room prior to 3:00, with no issue. The rooms were very nice, beds comfortable. Nice size TV, with ability to sign into your own Netflix which was a plus. The bathroom was very nice as well, good smelling soap in modern dispensers. Lots of places to plug in electronics which was awesome, especially when traveling with kids. The room has a nice wall control for your air and it works well. They had a nice water station on the first floor that had a place to refill a water bottle or cups provided and ice. This came in handy! They do have have snacks available for purchase, little on the pricey side so if you can bring your own, or go to the Kwik trip right around the corner. They do have fridges in the room. This is a very good location for food, lots very close by! They do charge a $10 fee for incidentals at check in, which if find very reasonable. The pool is small and inside, which is think is the only downside of this hotel. If you are looking for comfort and cleanliness this is your place!! . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a great place to stay in the Dells! We stayed here for one night on our way to Minneapolis and had a very nice experience. We checked in on the app in advance and were able to go right to our room upon arrival. The room was clean, comfy, and modern. We used the pool while there and, even though its a bit smaller, it was refreshing and luckily we had it all to ourselves. The breakfast buffet was simple but appetizing. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a hotel thats affordable and relaxing!

It's great overall. The staff are SO kind and pro. There was always at least 1 person at the desk 24/7. The layout is A+, with bright, open concepts in the lobby and rooms. The gym here is small but has enough equipment to feel complete. The water station was a huge help with disposable water bottle waste and cost on this trip, so that alone was a plus. The room was bright and open, but I saw there were corners that weren't cleaned-hair in the bathroom corners etc. I always come with disinfecting wipes, so not a huge deal, but disappointing considering how sparkling clean everything else was. The beds were clean and COMFY. Even the mini fridge was without odor and worked great. The TV is new, so it had all apps, and there were a lot of outlets and USB charging spots in the room. There was a youth baseball group staying at the same time as us, and while this has nothing to do with the hotel or staff, it was definitely a negative during our stay. The families were in the lobby all the time, acting like they were in their own home, spreading out and eating, using all the games and chairs and being loud. The kids were unsupervised and overall obnoxious, especially in the gym - climbing on the equipment (like on top of the treadmill console), swinging from the arm bands and treating it like it was a playground. Every corner we turned, there were some teen boys wrestling, throwing stuff, and the parents were busy drinking and ignoring the kids 99% of the time.

Great express hotel. Very clean. The indoor pool could’ve been a little nicer. It was cloudy, small and cold.

All areas of the hotel were exceptionally clean. The room had nice clean hardwood floors. The bedding was clean and cozy with a nice large tv. The breakfast was from 6-10am offering plenty of flexible time to eat. Lavazza coffee was available 24/7. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

All great. Stayed with the dog. There is extra $50 per pet. Would stay here again when in town.

Cleanliness

Could tell the shower was not clean. There was hair on the shower wall.

The room, 309, smelled icky when we entered for the first time. Sort of smelled like pee so I wondered whether a dog had previously stayed there. I removed the filters from the front of the heating/ac unit and rinsed and dried them in the shower, since they had a lot of lint and fur on them. It still stank, so I removed the plastic front cover of the unit, cleaned it off, and noted that the entire front of the inside of the unit, the fins and other components, appeared completely dust clogged. We used the bathroom and when we turned on the faucet handle to wash our hands, the entire the entire handle lifted off of the sink base. As it lifted it revealed a black moldy outline underneath. The shower edges had a pink substance growing on them, whether mold or bacteria, such as serratia, I cannot say. If it was just from iron in the water it would be a different shade. One of the pegs on the wall was loose. All in all, I got the impression that the room, while nicely decorated and sort of clean appearing, was cheaply constructed and not properly maintained. You really need to clean that heating and ac unit before somebody gets seriously sick. Also, most of the surfaces were slightly grimy, and it did not appear that anybody routinely wipes them down.

The employees were very nice. There were a couple of flies in the room. We killed them but by morning there were even more. Not sure where they came from. Bathroom was not as clean as it usually is at Tru hotels.

Room walls are paper thin, sounded like a elephant herd above us from 3-5 am keeping me up because they don’t use carpet to absorb foot steps. Tv remote only worked half the time. Room was about as small as a typical walk in closet. Dead bug attached to the bathroom exhaust fan. Won’t be returning ever.

Staff was excellent, hotel is spotless

We had a good stay. I’d give everything a 4 or 5 out of 5 except the cleanliness of the room could have been better and I’d give that a 3 out of 5. The main surfaces appeared clean but it was the corners and edges that needed better attention. An example is the pink bacteria that forms in showers, the bottom edges of the shower had that. All the floors needed a good scrub. The room needed a good dusting as well, including the bathroom fan. Again, good stay but could have been made better with a little more attention to detail in the cleanliness of the room.

Very friendly staff. The rooms are small but very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean with modern amenities. Coffee and free breakfast offerings were pretty good. Rooms are small but comfortable. Beds were better than many hotels, but the pillows were very soft and non-supportive. All in all, worth the stay.

Poor room amenities. No coffee maker, no microwave. Inconvenient (and from the hygiene stand point too) mounted squeezing tubes with soap and lotion. To get a cup of coffee a half-disabled person needs to go to the front desk hall to get it. The same about a microwave (1 in the front desk hall).

Terrible room. No microwave, window shades allow light to come through bottom, smoke detector right next to bed flashes light every 20 seconds, had to unplug room light to turn of the glaring red light that comes from the light adjustment. The only sink was in the bathroom. If someone was in the shower the sink was unavailable. Very poor design. All the towels are jammed in little spaces under the sink behind extra toilet paper. The pool is very very small. The breakfast is nothing special - same as the cheapest Hotels. I will never stay here again (or any hilton).

Their rooms are not spacious. Their twin beds are not really twin size, they are closer in size to the full size. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s quiet. Their breakfast is ok. Overall it’s a good place.

The double bed room was quite small but do-able. The pillows (all 6) were horrible!! Bring your own pillow if you want decent sleep. The walls are paper thin. We heard the tv clearly from rooms on either side of our room. Also music and dancing or something after 10pm.

Pillows were terrible. Everything else was fine.

From the minute I walked in to when I checked out, I was totally impressed with this Hotel. The front desk employee was so pleasant at check-in as well as the employee the next morning. The room was incredibly clean. From the TV to breakfast the next morning, I was so impressed. I will be staying at this Hotel again!!

We had a great stay at Tru! Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We called ahead and got confirmation that an early checkin was approved. Once we arrived, the fromt desk attendant appeared frazzled and the housekeeping person on he walkie was notably miffed. We waited an hour before our room was ready after a lengthy drive and cranky kids, I expected our room to be ready, or, the staffer to just give us a different room. I'm dissappinted about the lengthy wait time.

Staff was EXTREMELY welcoming, accommodating, kind, and respectful for my needs with my service dog, my daughter, and myself. We came in for business for my service dog and thought went in to giving me a perfect accessable room for my needs and the fact I use a walker as well. I was treated with respect the entire visit and never felt differently for my disability. I highly recommend Tru for anyone looking for an accessibility friendly place. The pool and area was very clean, as well as the entire common area, and the room. The full hot breakfast was great. The snacks available as well for purchase were very handy. The beds were very clean, comfortable, and very nice fluffy pillows. The bathroom was spotless which is a must! It was very appreciated that I was asked daily if I wanted any service for my room too! Our plans had the option to stay longer and because of the excellent accomodations it was very easy to extend our stay for additional days. I would not hesitate to come back and look forward to coming back in the future. The Tru felt very safe and a safe location, I always felt safe walking my service dog and having my daughter go to pool, desk etc without any worry. Staff was always present and willing to help in anyway. I highly recommend Tru!

Nice location, games in the lobby were awesome, staff below average, breakfast was nothing special and did have to tell front desk when things were running low. We had an issue with a dirty towel mixed in with our clean towels. Front desk apologized but did nothing else.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was not serviced during our 3 night stay. We were told it was going to be serviced every other day. So that was disappointing But overall nice stay.

The hotel is nice, the beds and pillows in 307 need to be replaced immediately, the hallway required sweeping, which was done after I requested it. Dominique provided excellent customer service and should be commended by Hilton as dud Jeanpaul.

This hotel was in a great location, right between the Kalahair and Wilderness. Very affordable and good value. Breakfast was great. The lobby was welcoming and active with guests enjoying snacks, playing games, or working on their computers. Great atmosphere.

It was ok, there were no ammenities and no coffee in room nor bottled water. And the breakfast was totally lame. For a Hilton is was not what I am used to.

Courteous staff, great breakfast,clean facility.

The hotel itself was fine. The breakfast was on the lower end of the scale.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Would recommend. Did not use the pool. Breakfast was ok, lukewarm. Staff is friendly and hotel is clean. Like the design of the rooms.

We were impressed with the variety of food available for breakfast. The fresh juice and produce was a pleasant surprise. Everything was very tasty. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous always happy with a smile on their faces. I absolutely loved the room. It was clean beyond any expectation. I had everything sparkled and smelled new. No carpet on the floors certainly was a pleasant surprise and very welcome. The sheets were amazingly soft, very high-end All in all I’m sold on Tru. I will be looking for our future travel stays to be booked in their establishments. Great job Hilton!

Very good breakfast, friendly staff, clean, and quiet room.

Perfect location. Hotel is simple, clean, and has the essentials. The breakfast was lacking. The pancake machine was out of order, coffee was out, toaster barely made the bread warm. All that was available was oatmeal, bananas and apples, should be advertised as a "grab and go" breakfast instead.

Hotel room was spacious & clean. However, there was a consistent knocking noise (ac in other rooms??). It was annoying. Kept me up at night. The breakfast was mediocre. Not many options (stayed at other Hiltons with way more) Cant complain about the breakfast too much.... It was included in the stay.
