This is the first property I’ve ever stayed at that charges you to use the in-room coffee maker. Don’t fall prey like I did to their generous shelling of Nespresso pods only to receive a steeply upmarked bill upon checkout ($4 per pod). In-room telephones connecting you to the front desk don’t work, nor their elevators’ room key sensors. Rooms don’t have light switches — illumination is controlled by an overly-complicated monitor that, again, you’re left to figure out on your own since the in-house phones don’t work. The air conditioning unit was extremely noisy and only cooled off the room briefly every 30 minutes, blowing lukewarm air throughout the room. Perhaps the only bright side to my stay was how warm and welcoming are the maintenance and front desk staff.

It is not a hotel, so be prepared in advance to have the access code for your room. And good luck with the arcane lighting system. Otherwise the place is a very good option on south Mexico city

Had to ask to be let in to parking area and most of the time no one was at front desk so had to wait.

Average, wasn’t completely bas bad but the receptionist sure made it worse. If you are planning on staying here take to consideration that they do not have good parking solutions.

Es más un Airbnb, la recepción no está disponible en realidad todo el tiempo, no es un hotel

No me gusto el estacionamiento y que tenga que quedarme en doble fila para mover el vehículo dependiendo si otro husped ocupa moversa.

El alojamiento muy bien, solo el estacinamiento muy pequeño.

Habitación impecable, todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda, la cafetera con café y agua disponible increíble. Se echó de menos el restaurante pero todo el servicio muy amab.

La habitación en gral, muy bien. La cama cómoda y la limpieza muy bien. Como sugerencia, mejoraría la iluminación del baño, ya que es muy ténue y para maquillarse o verse bien es un problema.

Es un lugar muy bien estratégicamente, desafortunadamente es deficiente en cuanto a servicios y a instalaciones. Faltaba Jabón de manos, no servía un foco del baño, el refrigerador no servía, hasta que lo cambiaron, solo se limpió un día de los 3 en los que nos hospedamos. La instalación es moderna pero está bajando su calidad. Sin embargo, el Guardia es atento e intenta solucionar los problemas que surgen.

only one thing to say about this place... STAY AWAYYY!!!!! I wanted to take the risk of staying at this place even tho for the reviews , because the convenience price and for the location... SERIOUS MISTAKE! When I got to my room, to my surprise, there were many imperfections. The light in the closet did not work, the stove did not work as well, the window that faced the bedroom did not close 100 percent and the kitchen light was ON all the time, which meant that every night I had to remove the key to turn off the light so I could rest, but when I removed it, the entire apartment turned off, which meant that every night if I wanted to go to the bathroom I had to use my cell phone flashlight to see. I reported the situation many times and they just ignored me. Another small detail cleaning service is not included. which seems outrageous to me. So I limited myself to cleaning the room when those services came included in the reservation... the same with the trash if you as a guest not pick it up, they will never do... Towels and toilet paper you have to ask downstairs to get them, if not, you will never have them. Thanks to ENUE the security guy. beyond and above!

Todo super bien, muy limpio, el personal muy amable, la habitacion muy bonita y espaciosa, la regadera salia deli el agua, lo unico es que hay mucho ruido de la calle, mejora con las ventanas cerradas

La momento de la llegada solo estaba un guardia de seguridad quien nos dió acceso al lugar, a simple vista el lugar era muy bonito pero tanto el baño como el resto del departamento estaba terriblemente sucio, la cafetera no funcionó la reservación era para tres personas y era una cama y un sofá exageradamente incómodo, no tenía ni sábanas ni una cobija para el sofá

La propiedad en sí, es magnífica, sus instalaciones bien cuidadas, limpias, bien decoradas, equipadas, sus blancos de buena calidad y suficientes. El personal atento y servicial, recepción, vigilancia y ama de llaves.

Primero lo bueno, el personal se lleva las palmas por su excelente servicio, Francisco hizo la diferencia en nuestra estancia, la ubicación es muy buena si vas al sur de la ciudad, lo malo, es un airbnb disfrazado de hotel, anuncian una habitación con cama QS y un Sofa Cama matrimonial, el sofa cama es una pesadilla ya que no puede permanecer horizontal y te la tienes que ingeniar para calzarlo, un par de dias antes de mi visje envié mensaje a la administración para asegurarme que dicho sofa cama contaba con almohadas y ropa de cama y recibi respuesta del lugar afirmando que asi seria y que todo estaria listo a mi llegada, esto no ocurrio, de las 2 habitaciones que rente ninguna tenia ropa de cama ni almohadas para el sofa cama, fue él personal de seguridad quien me consiguió un juego de ropa de cama para nuestra estancia, si usted es quisquilloso y tiene poca tolerancia a la frustración mantengase alejado de este lugar, si usted es un guerrero que se adapta a todo, considere esta opción si no tiene mas, por cierto, no cuenta con aire acondicionado y la calle es muy ruidosa.

The property looked great overall. Our room had a portable air conditioner, but it only blew hot air which made the room incredibly hot. Outside was nice and cool at night, but the handle to our patio was broken off completely and we could not open it to allow cool air flow into our room. We contacted the lobby several times about it, but they did not fix it or move us to another room. They provided an extra fan, but sadly, it wasn’t enough to cook us down as the air in the room was hot. We stayed a week and it would’ve been nice if we weren’t constantly sweating while in our room.

The aparthotel offers a room for two people with a sofa bed that is a disaster; everything looks good, but it is not right when you are there.

La habitación en gral, muy bien. La cama cómoda y la limpieza muy bien. Como sugerencia, mejoraría la iluminación del baño, ya que es muy ténue y para maquillarse o verse bien es un problema.

Está muy bonita la habitación me encantó, pero nada práctica, no pudimos salir al balcón, la mayoría de los conectores no funcionaban, se escuchaba mucho ruido muy fuerte por la noche y batallamos con la puerta ya que no se podía cerrar

Our stay was disappointing. There was no air conditioning, only cheap fans. The room was over 35°C, making it impossible to sleep. With the sliding door open, the street noise from traffic was unbearable. Despite claiming 24/7 response, we had to wait until the next day for any reply. I strongly advise finding accommodation elsewhere in the city with proper cooling. Additionally, our request for a partial refund was ignored by the owner.

We did not have air conditioner and it was really hot. The light configuration was all wack, not even with the help of front desk could we fix it. The place in itself was pretty.

El departamento es hermoso y espacioso, y ubicado en una zona bonita de la ciudad. Pero al llegar, el portero me dijo que debería haber recibido un código de acceso para abrir la puerta del departamento... El cual jamás recibí. Traté de contactar al alojamiento a través de Expedia, e-mail, telefono y whatsapp: Pero en las 48 horas de mi hospedaje, jamás recibí una despuesta. Afortunadamente, hora tratando de comunicarme sin éxit con el hospedaje, el portero se apiadó de mí, y me dió acceso al departamento con la llave de emergencia. Es una lástima que la estancia en un departamento tan bonito se vuelva una situación estresante por un descuido tan básico. Otra queja son las luces: En un intento por "ser modernos", todas las luces del departamento se controlan desde un panel de teclado táctil en la entrada del departamento... Pero en lugar de ser más cómodo, se vuelve complicado, tardado e incómodo (tienes que levantarte hasta la entrada del departamento para apagar la luz de la habitación... Tienes que buscar en el panel tactil entre todas las opciones para encontrar el control de la luz de cada habitación... Y el panel tactil controla además otras funciones; La última noche, activé accidentalmente la alarma contra robo cuando intentaba simplemente prender las luces del departamento).

El lugar es muy bonito y muy agradable, pero la atención del personal es terrible, muy poca empatía y nada de apoyo para cosas tan simples como una botella de agua, jabón para manos o shampoo para baño que no quisieron poner. No me vuelvo a quedar aquí.

Nunca recibimos el código de acceso para ingresar a la habitación y tuvimos que esperar media hora para que nos pudiera abrir.

CAPITALIA is always incredibly responsive and offer a wonderful stay.

Confusion at check in, codes didn’t work

Las instalaciones en general son buenas, pero el ruido de la calle es terrible todo el día y la noche, no me dieron el código de acceso a la habitación con anticipación y el guardia de recepción tiene la peor actitud, pedí una habitación con dos camas y me instalo en una de una cama diciéndome que si tenía alguna queja lo viera con la aplicación donde contrate, no hay nadie que te apoye ante una inconformidad.

Excelente ubicación, muy buen departamento y las personas de recepción muy amables y atentos.

Tiene muchas cosas cerca.

I would stay at the hotel again because of the convenience, my only concern is the traffic noise.

Buen lugar, céntrico y accesible. Sin embargo está justo a la orilla de la calle y es es molesto el sonido de los autos. El resto todo bien

The size of the room was ok but door system was awful, worked only a few times. Very noisy property. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were very nice.

Very nice hotel. Need more room service options and food options. But the staff was incredible and amazing.

We enjoyed the property, there was only one real complaint. The water was out for a period of time, that was not fun. And they did not refill the coffee pods, we had to ask for more on day-3 and 4.

I have stayed at Stara, now owned by Capitalia, for many years for business. Note that the sign outside still remains to be Stara to avoid any confusion. All rooms are nice, we had the top floor and these two rooms are large and very nice. There used to be breakfast, lunch and Dinner served on the roof top patio. Breakfast included in the room fee and this made life easy instead of having to walk to the city center of San Angel which is about a 15 minute walk each way. The staff is always great, but missing amenities are in need of being addressed. Capitalia can't expect people to eat an overpriced snickers bar and an 11 dollar bottle of water for breakfast or dinner and be happy about it. If improvements are made, then I'd recommend this place, but I can tell you I will take my business elsewhere in the future if some thing as simple as food service cannot be addressed. 4 months ago at least they had a small kitchen downstairs that could cook a simple breakfast but that is now gone too. This is a disappointment as I have been staying here for almost 10 years for business and have spent tens of thousands of US dollars to stay here. Best of luck!

Needs improvement, restaurant never opened at the supposed operation hours. TVs are outdated, room lighting is difficult to figure out. Could be a lot cleaner. Very noisy room

No cumplieron el compromiso del desayuno incluido. Restaurante cerrado. Jamás vuelvo. Lo comentaré con quien pregunte.
