It is a clean hotel but pretty spartan for the money. The hotel staff checking me in was in no way welcoming, and apparently believes a smile requires too much effort. It is located in a nice part of town, but the hotel offers little in the way of amenities. I found it hard to believe that a hotel for which I paid $300 per night would charge for Wi-Fi (at $12.50 per day). I didn't expect any breakfast and was thus not disappointed on that. Not sure where else there is to stay in Wilmington, but I would search a lot harder next time.

Only 1 bath robe in the room. No trash bags in none of the trash cans. Old sock found behind the couch. Upholstery dirty and can use a good cleaning. Toilet was dirty with a black ring inside the bowl. Lastly ice machine not working only 2 working in the entire building to share between 10 floors. These kind of things you jist dont expect from a hotel of luxury or for the price you pay. Unacceptable

It was a nice hotel on the riverfront easy to where we needed to be. It state it had a pool and it did not. Also only 1 elevator was working!

The location was perfect for a soccer event. The room was adequate and the shower setup was very welcome, with the shampoo/gel pumps in the updated shower stalls. The dresser/tv stand in the room could use an update. The fridge did not work, although staff was helpful in trying to fix. The bedsheets unfortunately had evidence of someone else's hair. The front desk and restaurant staff were cheerful and courteous.

I stay here once or twice a year because my daughter’s competition is next door. I stood in the suite and the carpet was wet, not sure why. It wasn’t terrible and this can be a very nice hotel if they fix up a few things. I do like that you have access to Netflix, prime and other channels. For the price of the suite there was no paper towels, spoons, etc. It’s not terrible but could use some fixing and better cleaning.

Nice hotel in a beautiful area. But neither the phone nor the TV in the room worked! Staff came to look and said that the TV functions hadn't worked for months. He said he fixed the phone but it still didn't work. Really disappointing for such a high end property.

Everything was a bit run down. The chair had stains on it, the mirror was chipping in the bathroom, the tv didn’t work, etc. overall, it was fine for what we were there for - sleep - but it was a bit run down.

I ordered food and the lady at the dinner wrote a tip on the receipt without my permission ! Staff charged me twice for something I paid for. I’m Very upset about this. For 300 a night service was not what I expected. The front desk was very nice and tried to help me but the tip being written without my consent was very uncalled for !

The Westin was close to river walk which gave easy access to restaurants and entertainment. The hotel did not offer free breakfast, nor free Wi-Fi. We needed a rollaway bed and was told to request at check in , but they did not have any available.
