I've never heard of a hotel that charges an extra fee for parking in their parking lot when staying there. We got dinged an extra $12.00 for every night stay. The staff did not say anything about this PLUS, we had to reset the tv every time we turned it on. This would be a $100.00 room anywhere else with not even a continental breakfast. Won't stay there again!

I liked the property overall but when they advertise pet friendly there should be facilities onsite for pets. It was a shot walk to pet friendly parks etc. but nothing onsite for the late night potty break! Location is awesome and hotel is well taken care of older hotel. Would recommend

Parking is tight and you are charged extra when you check in. Our toilet chain was broken so I had to mcGyver it. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and after the street noise stopped at midnight we slept.

Great location, and staff friendly. My room was very dark, and the facility is pretty dated. Carpets definitely need replacing. Plus you have to pay $12 a night for parking. It's fine, but not great value - although I guess it's an expensive town.

It was cute and clean. We stayed there because they allowed pets, but there was no grass anywhere on the property to walk my dog, so I walked him across the street. Those people were not happy. It was a very easy check in process and clean little motel. Nothing too fancy but also nothing bad at all.

Nice place, staff and very clean. In good shape. Our carpet was pretty wet and smelled like shampoo. I think they recently cleaned them and didn't give it a chance to dry out the way.

Property was very dated with no improvements; Smelled like urine outside along sidewalk; Room carpet was gross looking - stained, permanently dirty look; The bed/mattress was uncomfortable; Toilet & sink counter were uncomfortably short; There was a sign on bathroom door saying that the smoke alarm could go off if you took too hot of a shower & the steam went out; The bathroom didn’t have a fan & the door took brute strength to close/open; The noise from other units using the bathroom and showering was significant. Experiencing all of this made the nightly cost ridiculous. Had we known all this we would’ve paid a little more for quality lodging. All this said, the counter person was friendly and the location was very convenient.

The carpet was in really bad shape and stained. Coffee in the room was terrible. I received an email after I had already booked the room that said I had to pay additionsl charge for parking. The parking should have been included in the room cost. Everything else was satisfactory.

We extended our New Year's Trip by one day, and this hotel was a good choice. I loved the convenience of the location, only a couple blocks from the lake, near everything. Room was quiet, front desk was friendly and courteous. My only complaint was that the sheets seemed to attract a lot of hair, and there was hair from previous guests on some of the pillowcases. Other than that, it was a nice little place.

The room (109) was very cramped, especially the bathroom. It claimed to be wheelchair accessible but it definitely does not qualify as such. Bathroom was super small, no hand bars and sink was not regulated for wheel chair use. I am not in a chair but felt really cramped! Couldn’t leave door open to let out steam but open window looked into an office building. My biggest complaint was how loud the refrigerator was, we ended up unplugging it because it was very loud and right next to bed. The heater was also extremely loud and occasionally blew out cool air. The second night I turned it off because it was right next the second bed. The noise made it difficult to relax. I’ve stayed at Resort City Inn several times over the years. This was my last time, it feels like it has gone downhill.

This motel is within walking distance to everything. Very clean and friendly service. The only negative was the bed. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. This is not an "upscale" hotel but it is perfect for people who want a clean room, close to everything and friendly service at a great price! I would recommend but just know the mattress was not the most comfortable.

We had a room adjacent to the laundry room. There was an incessant loud high-pitched electronic buzzing through the walls that kept us awake most of the night. We could not request a room change since the staff decide to close the lobby 2 hours earlier than advertised at 7pm instead of 9pm. Other than that it was just a kind of a dreary motel room, kinda what you would expect. It was clean though.

A decent location in town, room was pretty basic and older but fine for a night. Biggest complaint here is the noise, you can everything from the people above you and next you (both sides) Paper thin wall and floors.

This is a great hidden gem in Couer d'Alene! Right in the middle of downtown with tons of restaurants and shops all within walking diatance. This is an older hotel but has nicely remodeled rooms. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Jason was awesome to deal with! I would highly recommend Resort City. We will be back! Thanks for a great stay!

This is such a convenient location, right in the midst of downtown. Staff is friendly, helpful and the rooms are spotless. Also nice to have microwave, mini-fridge and Keurig in the room. This was probably the 4th or 5th time I have chosen to stay there and definitely won't be the last.

Great location - Walk to breakfast at "Bakery by the Bay" and many dining options. Walk to parks and CDA Resort. Adequate walled off parking. Very clean with new appliances. Friendly staff. Office only open from 11AM to 7PM. Quiet, powerful air conditioning in July. Great to walk around even with high temps in the 80's.

Very unpleasant stay, I would not recommend it to anyone. We had to check out after two nights of hell. 1st night fire alarms were going off for about an hour. Police present onsite made it look so bad like it’s a crime scene. No notice to the guests of what was going on… 2nd night construction on the road vibrated our room probably the entire building. Just horrible experience and management not willing to give a credit for inconveniences and claims they didn’t know about the construction noise and they don’t get notified when construction starts. Just awful……..we couldn’t sleep for two nights. We checked out after the 2nd night and went somewhere else. Maybe paid more but it was cleaner, quieter and very relaxing. Just a terrible stay…. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

There was no person at the office when I arrived around 8pm eventhough it states the office is open until 9pm. There were instructions regarding getting into my room. This is an older motel with carpets that smelled of ckesning shampoo. Bathroom and the room was clean and comfortable. There is no 24/7 security. No breakfast.Office does not open until 10am. I left and place key in drop box.

I always stay here when I'm in town. It's convenient to the downtown core, can walk everywhere. Office staff is always friendly. Early check in available, if you're gonna be late they check you in and provide a key box for after hours check in. The rooms are comfortable, and very quiet. Affordable lodging as well v

Outstanding location literally around the corner from the Main Street of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. and across the street from the lake. Doesn’t look like much from the outside and the rooms are a little dated, but super clean, and perfectly functional. And the location cannot be better. Would definately stay again!

This was a great location. Close to restaurants and bars, easily walkable. We we travelling with our ebikes and rode several miles each day. The room is basic, but clean. We really liked Couer d’Alene and hope to go back some day.
