Location was great! Very cute part of town with tons of cool restaurants, farmers market, river walk close by, and the Durham museum is super cool!! But the gym has no air conditioning and was about 100 degrees when tried to work out-this is a liability! Good thing there was an Anytime Fitness a few blocks away. The melon served at breakfast was fermented. Super busy breakfast time-be ready for that! Otherwise served its purpose and we had a great trip to Omaha for a wedding.

The Elevator situation was slow. Always a constant line to go up to your floor. The A/C was having a hard keeping up in the common areas. The breakfast was lackluster, as the staff couldn’t keep up with food, silverware, plates and glasses. The set up was not ideal in terms of getting your plate, glass and silverware before grabbing your food. The room was nicely appointed and kept cool. The Staff was very nice and accommodating. The location was ideal and parking was cheaper than other hotel options in the old market area.

Accommodations were adequate. Room was clean and good linens. We were not that impressed with downtown Omaha. We were hoping for a more vibrant town. We were charged $25.00 for parking. As it turned out, the parking was free as the arms to get in and out of the garage were not functioning and did seem at least permanently broken. I don't think we should have been charged as I am sure the people at the front desk knew there would be no charge for them or us to park in the garage. Not sure who the money went to.

The area and hotel were great, but the Air Conditioning system was not working in the lobby and gym areas for our entire stay. Breakfast was served in the lobby, and it was at least 90 degrees in this area. There were a lot of great dining options in walking distance of the hotel.

Great location in Old Market. Easily walk to shopping and restaurants. Parking was convenient but cost $25/night. Pool area was small-not like the pics and the water was cold. Kids were disappointed. Breakfast was minimal and disappointing. Our first morning the the supplier didn’t show and all that was left was a pieces of bread to toast. Beds were comfortable. Our shower was slow to drain which was annoying to stand in 3” of water while showering. We will probably find a different hotel the next time in Omaha. Not impressed.

We took a short, family trip during Spring Break. The hotel was nice and as pictured, however we got stuck in an elevator. When the fire department showed up, we got out shortly after and let the front desk know. They were very rude and seemed bothered that we were now out of the stuck elevator. The elevator got stuck the next day as well, so we had to take the stairs quite a bit. No apologies were given. Other than that, the hotel stay itself was good.

Location is excellent to walk around the Old Market. For a Hyatt Hotel, it lacked a bit of that upscale feel. No staff was wearing uniforms, not name tags, no way to identify they were hotel employees. There was a “bar” which consisted of a seating area next to where people checked-in, sign said drinks were “pre-made”, and front desk guy told me he was also the bartender! lol Could be making a killing if they had an inviting bar with cool atmosphere and real drinks. We didn’t try it out. Rooms were nice, confortable, clean. Parking was available for an additional fee, but definitely convenient and with the money of you’re walking about. Breakfast was fine, again, no way to identify staff. But a plus it was included with stay. A few things they could fix, but again, location trumps it all.

It started with my Granddaughter and l doing our inspection, she did bathroom, l did bedroom! In the bathroom there were two strains of hair in tub location and floor, Dried Blood was found going down outside of toliet. The day we checked out about 15 mins prior to time, l used restroom one last time, got ready to wash hands and water had bern turned off. We had to use hotel wash cloth to clean up dried blood which we out in the trash! Not satisfied with my stay that night. Also the water could be noisy, shower did not allow water to drain properly, do you were standing in the water. Not impressed, actually disappointed, especially your Hotel Brand.

The room was clean and in good order. Our floor (7th) had some clutter going on with renovations, but our actual room was in great condition. I appreciated the secure "key card" elevators, especially as the building has entrances from the outside, and the key card entrance entrance at the lobby, as well. The staff were very attentive and friendly and welcoming. The eco-friendly shampoo and soap in the showers are a great thing. There was an emergency alarm on the first day of our stay, but we were quickly notified of the status of things and allowed to return almost immediately. The beds were very comfortable, and the views were lovely. The location gave us an easy walking distance to the event we were attending and to every store or restaurant we patronized while there. The breakfast was diverse in options and was a good start to the day. The fact that we had real silverware, glasses, plates made the experience feel more like home. The exercise room and pool were clean, well-maintained, easy to use, and comfortable. This was our third stay at this location, and while we noted a bit of aging and some renovation dust here and there, it continues to be one of our favorite places to stay in downtown Omaha.

All we wanted were clean towels and trash. Asked manager three times. Housekeeping said they never received the request and even though they were right outside of the door they refused to accommodate. Not the cleanest hotel and the continental breakfast was really limited. But what's really concerning is that my son, who is dyslexic asked for assistance in relocating his room and management literally refused to help. Will never book here again.

Excellent food choices just a short walk away. The gas station across the street is also a small market that came in handy. Sadly the cleanliness of the room wasn’t the best. There were stains on one of our comforters, someone’s fingernail in our sink, leftover brown runoff of something that I’m assuming was wiped off just behind the toilet tank, the doorframe to the bathroom was also quit dirty.

Parking garage was closed and wasn’t able to be used, blinds didn’t work in the room, fridge didn’t work in the room, and the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Would honestly like a refund.

Overall, this is a good place to stay. Unfortunately, the neighborhood gives it a bad reputation, but the hotel is fairly clean inside. They were short on staff, and the hotel room only had minor issues. Nothing major.

I had stayed in this hotel before, but our stay was okay, but not great. The heater in our room was not working properly, so when we woke up in the morning it was 62°. In the room, the bathroom doors are a sliding opaque glass door. It did not offer much for privacy or for bathroom trips on the middle of the night when turning on the bathroom light put a lot of light into the rest of the room. The breakfast lacked variety and you could tell there were things typically offered, but missing. Like the waffle maker where there was signage and spray, but no machine or also missing coffee creamers. The dirty dishes were piled up high and the tables weren’t being wiped off either. Finally the parking fee was $25 to park in the garage (self park, not valet) and the gate was not functioning to get out. You have to scan your room key at the gate, but that didn’t work. Instead we had to call the front desk to have someone let us out of the garage.

Chose this hotel for the convenience of walking the Market area. The room was clean, but the pillows could have been more comfortable. There was noise from the busy Market area well into the night but overall, it was a good stay.

Hyatt place is convenient and in a nice area to access old town without a car. Lots to walk to for dining and shopping. The rooms themselves have hardwood floors or laminate floors. It’s noisy. The person above us seemed to be loudly pacing throughout the night. Traffic outside is also loud. Heard cops and motorists all night. Not worth it for the convenience. Would rather stay in a quieter location just to get some sleep.

We have stayed at this property several times and typically have no complaints. This time, our room fan was not working, and the Air Con would kick on periodically and sounded like a jet engine taking off...so loud! The pillows were the absolute worst, could not get comfortable. At breakfast we overheard another guests' conversation also complaining about the pillows, so it is a real thing. They were like bags full of clay...The trash bins were overflowing the entire stay-like, do they ever get emptied? I appreciate that it was a busy Saturday night and the Old Market can get a bit crazy, but the hotel is not keeping up with maintenance and general facility cleanliness. Disappointed- for the high dollar price, Marriott or Hilton is better choice.

Room was clean and had a great view from 10th floor. Only complaint is thin walls and could hear loud drunkies (2:30 am bar close crowd) in the hallway. All we wanted were clean towels and trash. Asked manager three times. Housekeeping said they never received the request and even though they were right outside of the door they refused to accommodate. Not the cleanest hotel and the continental breakfast was really limited. But what's really concerning is that my son, who is dyslexic asked for assistance in relocating his room and management literally refused to help. Will never book here again.

Great price and the staff at checkin were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable and was clean, finishing my road trip off with a comfortable bang. I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. There service was especially meritorious. When I arrived they put me in a room on the top floor with a view of the river. On my day of departure, they allowed me to stay in the lobby until my train left, even preparing for me a chicken ceasar salad at no cost. Now, that was top-quality service.

The customer service agent with the big tattoo on her chest was very rood! Came up the through customer service with an request for a extension. She told me no, and to call expieda. The ladie was very anxious and seems tweaked out. She said "that's all I know" and walked away. Very unprofessional. I left in a half hour and she was outside smoking. Room was nice, clean. You could hear the neighbors talking (not much sound proofing) and smell what they were enjoying (?). Staff were great - Matt let us check in even though we arrived 2 hours early (we just wanted to leave car in the attached parking garage.) Check out went well too. I asked to have the gentleman (didn't get his name) at the desk if he could fill my water bottle at the sink behind him, he just gave me a bottle of water.

We took a short, family trip during Spring Break. The hotel was nice and as pictured, however we got stuck in an elevator. When the fire department showed up, we got out shortly after and let the front desk know. They were very rude and seemed bothered that we were now out of the stuck elevator. The elevator got stuck the next day as well, so we had to take the stairs quite a bit. No apologies were given. Other than that, the hotel stay itself was good.

The area is awesome, but the increased amount of people living on the street made it less desirable to walk around the Old Market. When we pulled into the parking structure my daughter saw a homeless person relieving themselves on a dumpster. While it's not the hotels fault, it just makes the destination a place that we might reconsider.

Location was great! Very cute part of town with tons of cool restaurants, farmers market, river walk close by, and the Durham museum is super cool!! But the gym has no air conditioning and was about 100 degrees when tried to work out-this is a liability! Good thing there was an Anytime Fitness a few blocks away. The melon served at breakfast was fermented. Super busy breakfast time-be ready for that! Otherwise served its purpose and we had a great trip to Omaha for a wedding.

The Elevator situation was slow. Always a constant line to go up to your floor. The A/C was having a hard keeping up in the common areas. The breakfast was lackluster, as the staff couldn’t keep up with food, silverware, plates and glasses. The set up was not ideal in terms of getting your plate, glass and silverware before grabbing your food. The room was nicely appointed and kept cool. The Staff was very nice and accommodating. The location was ideal and parking was cheaper than other hotel options in the old market area.

Great location in Old Market. Easily walk to shopping and restaurants. Parking was convenient but cost $25/night. Pool area was small-not like the pics and the water was cold. Kids were disappointed. Breakfast was minimal and disappointing. Our first morning the the supplier didn’t show and all that was left was a pieces of bread to toast. Beds were comfortable. Our shower was slow to drain which was annoying to stand in 3” of water while showering. We will probably find a different hotel the next time in Omaha. Not impressed.

I would give a higher rating but the breakfast was a nightmare! The food line starts with plates, hot food, then the waffle stand starts and everybody in line has to stop.Everything backs up from there. It was taking 15 +minutes to get food. And not enough people helping. Move the waffle makers somewhere else!

We enjoyed our stay at this Hyatt. Our room was well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The location in the Old Market was excellent - lots of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. And the included breakfast was varied and tasty. If I were to return to Omaha, I would absolutely stay here! .

Hyatt Place was in a great location to enjoy Old Market, Omaha. Everything in walking distance for the weekend. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly/helpful. The areas that could be approved upon were breakfast area clean up. Tables were not wiped off, gentleman replenishing the hot food did not wear a hair net over his beard. Rooms were nice and spacious, but the refrigerator didn’t work, pillows were hard and lumpy, shower head was clogged and the coffee pot sputtered and sprayed water on the desk. The towels were wonderful. The overall experience was fine and I would probably stay there again. Just need some oversite and maintenance in the areas mentioned.
