I love the cabin look, smell, functionality and cleanliness. Able to use the sauna by myself. Didn’t have a chance to use the other activities in the facility such as pickleball, badminton or camp fire. Maybe next time.

Beautiful cabins! The grounds were very well maintained. Communication with staff was easy. There were activities if you wanted to play. Fire pit areas with chairs, The cabins had porches with rocking chairs. 30 minutes to Yellowstone .

This place was amazing. The facilities are as advertised and the host in the office is very knowledgeable about the area and super friendly. We didn’t have a single issue with our stay. They even gave us smores for the fire pit.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and modern with all the amenities. Breakfast and ice was available. We enjoyed the s’mores kit to roast at the fire pit. We saw there are activities available to do and recreation rentals available . We highly recommend!

Not too far 28 minutes from Yellowstone entrance. Very nice staff didn’t know you needed an appointment for the sauna called at 8 o’clock and she allowed us in at 8:45. They have Pickleball courts soccer field bonfire they have Everything. really nice place.

We greatly enjoyed our time at Blue Buffalo resort. Very clean and well kept. It looked brand new. Staff very helpful and friendly. We also had access to free pickleball court, soccer, volleyball, badmitten, and beautiful area of firepits to have an evening fire with complimentary s'mores.

Nice, new looking cabin. A/C, heater worked great. Very nice surrounding. No mosquitos at all in the whole area, so last year treatment worked well. Shower and hot water worked great. Great breakfast and pizza. 20 minutes from amazing Mesa Falls. Sofabed kinda soft. Loft ceiling a little low for adult. More lighting and/or bigger signs needed from the street for the 2 entries into the resort so driver won't miss. We missed it a couple of times.

great place, great people. My only 1/2 point reduced would be too much light too late. Like lights were on until 1 am. Either turn them off earlier or add blackout curtains. The service was fantastic, and cannot say better for the little pizzeria. Amazingly good!

They were very accommodating we started with a smaller cabin and decidwd for the bigger one they got us moved right away. Cabins were clean as was the cafe on property and the laundry facility. They even had horseshoes and bean bag games

Although the resort is nice and clean, we found the cabin without the bathroom to be quite small and overpriced. It was quite inconvenient to have to get up and walk a few hundred feet to a bathroom. Found the bathrooms to be quite dirty at times, and often locked-up with no one in them. It is not because you are a 40 min drive from Yellowstone NP that you should be unreasonable with your price.

Overall I really liked it. The room and property were clean and maintained, parking was also easy. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star review is the room smelled like cigarettes. Not all of them smelled this way, but our cabin smelled terrible.

Expected bathroom. There was none. All units with bathrooms were sold out could not upgrade. Never paper towels in communal bathrooms. (after complaint about no paper towels in bathrooms a roll of paper towels appeared nin one, but was gone in morning. I did not check all 6 bathrooms only 3.)

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was shared and about 200 ft away which was a little inconvenient. The bathrooms were also not well equipped during my stay. Often in need of cleaning and several times out of soap, shampoo and toilet paper. There was an event going on at the same time so may have had a difficult time keeping up with all the people. The restaurant also seemed short staffed. It was over an hour wait for pizza so I ordered a grilled cheese sandwhich which took 40 min and came with bread only on one side (the top) with no bread on the bottom so had to eat it with a fork. It tasted great but was def not a “sandwhich” lol Staff was great! Very friendly and responsive. Helped with advice on fishing and good places to go in the area.

Cabin was excellent. Beds were sub par. Master bed was memory foam and half the bed was supportive and good. The other side was sunken in and had no support. Felt as if I would fall off the bed. I was unable to sleep on it. Also very little hot water available. We had only 3 people showing and after 15 min the water was Luke warm at best. Cabin set up is great. Space was adequate. Plenty of beds. If it wasn’t for the main queen bed problem and very little hot water the stay would have been 5 stars. Breakfast was great and cabins were cute and fun. Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of dinning options close by nor do the have ice machines or pool.

The stay was great overall and we'll stay there again. There are a couple things visitors should be aware of. First, the bed is an RV queen size. It's not 80" long. If you're tall, like me, your feet will hang off the end. Also the dining area size has not kept pace with their growth over the years and you may very well have a hard time finding a seat. We did two out of three days. All that being said, we will stay there again and I highly recommend it.

All the amenities in one tiny space. Off season was not such a bonus with the pizzeria closed for the season. The cabin floor cracked and groaned a bit, and we’re not heavy people! It was clean, but a bit tight for our tastes. It was available and less expensive than most of the other options in town.

The two ladies who manage the property came quickly to assist us on how to get the TV working. They are sweet and polite. But the way the cabine was advertised I thought this cabine could accommodate three adults comfortably. The lift though has a VERY short ceiling and adults couldn’t stand up. Actually, most of 10 year-olds couldn’t either. Then we thought “Awww … how cute! This loft was built for toddlers”. But than the stairs are WAY too steep ! Way too dangerous for kids and adults. The steps are narrow and very high. So … two of the adults in our group ended up sleeping in the living room. But all in all it was a good stay. My friends complained that due to no black-out blinders on the windows the cute outside lights bothered them during their sleep. Great service though! And the river RIGHT ACROSS the resort was a treat!

Spruce cabins are excellent at the price for their spaciousness and amenities. Points taken off for poor sound insulation - cabins adjacent to highway gets really loud when trucks pass by, and poor WiFi quality in an area with already poor cellular coverage.

Great cosy cabin room! Parking was sufficient and available in front of the cabin. The room had all basic amenities including a fridge and a microwave. Breakfast had good options and it was great! Overall a great place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone!

I loved staying here! The cabin was clean, cozy and the rocking chair on the porch deck was a great place to relax. Lots of grass for taking my dog out to potty, and for all sorts of games. The staff was awesome in sending some help after hours. The location is great just off of highway 20, however, with all the busy traffic on this highway, there is a bit of noise with the loud vehicles and semi trucks. I highly recommend staying here.

Great, clean and comfortable little cabin. The only thing that could be different is the AC (window unit) set up. If you want to use the AC, you can only close the blinds half way. This forces you to fill the gap with anything to keep privacy, since the windows are in view of other units.

We tried checking-in 45 mins early but they wouldn't let us and that is understandable, She recommend places to go and wait but we already drove 8 hours and are very tired. I wish the receptionist check the cabin and see if its already ready before dismissing our request, I don't mind paying extra. She told me that I would get a text at 4pm with check in instruction but never did, I went to the office to remind her about the text she promise. I know she is just following instruction and not her fault. Anyhow we stayed at Spruce and it was beautiful, just like in the picture. The breakfast is your usual continental breakfast. Bike and kayak rental is conveniently located in the property. I would recommend this place.

I know she is just following instruction and not her fault. Anyhow we stayed at Spruce and it was beautiful, just like in the picture. The breakfast is your usual continental breakfast. Bike and kayak rental is conveniently located in the property. I would recommend this place.

We reached late at night and the beds in the loft were not done. As I called the front desk, the lady told me the housekeeper was supposed to do it but must have forgotten! We had to do our own beds when we were extremity tired. As I complained to the manager, she told that housekeeping is not supposed to do that! I was also denied regular house keeping service. The excuse was that they are very busy! As I asked for compensation for all these sufferings, the GM summarily declined it with a dry apology. Horrible experience.

Perfect little cabin for a Yellowstone trip. Unlike many of the older properties around the park, this had the cabin feel. No shared walls, rocking chairs on the porch and was quiet. I loved the kitchen. Eating pan fried steak on the porch while hearing the wildlife, amazing. Chandler checked us in. He is very friendly and gave excellent tips for the area. I will stay here again

Good clean place to stay. There was breakfast but it sucked, and was never open on time. Basic cereal and toast. Chances of getting anything hot was about 50% as they were very unprepared. Management isn’t very nice just stuck up, and everything has to go their way. Had a couple problems and dealing with them was terrible.

We used this as a jumping off point to explore Yellowstone national park and it was fantastic. Prices were reasonable and it was only a 20-25 minute drive to the west entrance of the park. We had a party of 5 , (parents, kids and gramma) and the spruce cabin fit our needs perfectly . Would highly recommend to anyone.

Loved our stay at the Blue Buffalo! It's a beautiful property in a lovely area 35 minutes from West Yellowstone. We stayed in a cabin with a loft but the kids weren't comfortable up there (it was 90 degrees that week and hot up there, also was a very tight space). We moved the mattresses to the living room and the kids slept there instead which worked out great. We spent one evening watching live music on their rooftop enjoying pizza and drinks from the onsite grill. We wish we had booked a longer stay!

I loved staying here! The cabin was clean, cozy and the rocking chair on the porch deck was a great place to relax. Lots of grass for taking my dog out to potty, and for all sorts of games. The staff was awesome in sending some help after hours. The location is great just off of highway 20, however, with all the busy traffic on this highway, there is a bit of noise with the loud vehicles and semi trucks. I highly recommend staying here.

Combo shower/toilet was disappointing. Floor was wet all night after our showers. No chairs in the cabin whatsoever. Not enough lighting to read in bed. Cabin was clean. Continental breakfast was substandard. No waffle maker.

Super cute and clean and cozy cabins, perfect for families, 40 minutes from Yellowstone. Breakfast was underwhelming and crowded, so the second morning we bought breakfast food to cook in our cabin. I loved the rocking chairs on the porch. There is a small grocery store down the road and two gas stations stocked with things we sometimes forget, I forgot my toothbrush. I would recommend Blue Buffalo to anyone. The main office was helpful and very nice. If we go back to Yellowstone we will stay again. Great experience!

Issues with key code to cabins but resolved quickly. Great, clean rooms with all that is needed! Small area for breakfast in morning nowhere to sit but outside, and the pizza place was closed on the Tuesday evening that was our plan for dinner once back from the park unfortunately. This was not told to us and don't know why a place would be closed any day during peak summer season. Luckily, grocery store down the road a few minutes and able to cook in cabin. Overall, pretty dang good for the price!

The stay was great overall and we'll stay there again. There are a couple things visitors should be aware of. First, the bed is an RV queen size. It's not 80" long. If you're tall, like me, your feet will hang off the end. Also the dining area size has not kept pace with their growth over the years and you may very well have a hard time finding a seat. We did two out of three days. All that being said, we will stay there again and I highly recommend it.

All the amenities in one tiny space. Off season was not such a bonus with the pizzeria closed for the season. The cabin floor cracked and groaned a bit, and we’re not heavy people! It was clean, but a bit tight for our tastes. It was available and less expensive than most of the other options in town.

Resort was great! Quiet, clean, and we loved having a full kitchen area. We used the laundry room and that was very clean and convenient location. We also ordered some cheese bread from the pizzeria, and it was delicious! I would absolutely stay again!

Only down side to my stay was that I couldn't enjoy the fire pits due to local burn bans in effect, but that wasn't a negative on the resort. One area of opportunity is the continental breakfast. It had no real protein option except a yogurt cup, no meats or egg. Overall a great place to stay if you don't want to dine out every day/night, and to have more than just a bed and a bathroom. If you book the bigger cabin like the Spruce.

great place, great people. My only 1/2 point reduced would be too much light too late. Like lights were on until 1 am. Either turn them off earlier or add blackout curtains. The service was fantastic, and cannot say better for the little pizzeria. Amazingly good!

I truly wish I could give more than the available 5 star rating. The perfect place to stay when visiting Yellowstone or even Teton (for us at least it was) and I’m very glad I did not opt for rooms available in Madison - this place is a quick 30 min drive from the west park entrance. There’s a gym and laundry room available on site and a pizza parlour that truly had the best pizza ever!! Did I mention a yummy continental breakfast included? Everything is new and clean. I don’t normally leave reviews but had to for this place 10/10!

This was an amazing place to stay with our family. We loved all of the amenities on site for guests to enjoy. The resort was very clean. The charming cabins had everything needed for a peaceful stay. The breakfast included was a great addition to fuel up before we began our days. We appreciated the extremely quick and helpful communication from the staff. We would love to visit Blue Buffalo again!
