Pool was not heated and un kept. Patio area and bar was really nice. No coffee for guest even if it says Starbucks served here.elevator very slow one not working and sharing with staff and garbage and dirty linen.

We picked this “resort” because of their entertainment options — free bike rentals, pool, basketball court and a pool table. In fact they tacked a daily 14.99 resort fee because of the amenities. There was also a parking fee The bikes were all broken and the pool was shut down by the state due to licensing issues. We spent a lot of time playing basketball and using the pool table. Not what we were hoping for. They also charged $45 for early check-in - something I have never experienced. So, there were extra fees we didn’t expect. We could have stayed at a bigger hotel on the ocean for the same total price. The staff was very nice and the place was clean and within walking distance of strip malls. Island Sips, one of their two on-site restaurants, provided tasty and healthy options at an affordable price.

Very disappointed with everything about the hotel, nothing was as advertised, the basketball and tennis courts were very dirty, elevators not working, pool table is old and missing covering, there is no chalk for the cue, the toilets get clogged right after they unclog it. Absolutely terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We only stayed for 1 night and did not get a chance to explore the hotel and area in depth. Check in and check out was fast, plenty parking. Weird deposit charges upon check-in were credited back in few days. Overall the 50s style does not appeal to me but my kids were exited to saw vynyl player and tube tv. I do appreciate hard floor but unfortunately the floors were very dirty. We spilled some water and when I wiped it, the entire napkin was dirty. Also hallways flooring shows lack of cleaning too. The room itself was spacious but lacked additional seating. There was no dresser. The platform bed had plenty storage underneath but my bad knee did not allow me to use it. The bathroom was big and looked clean. There was no hooks in the bathroom for clothes. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The matress seems to be a very good quality. The room was very quiet overlooking golf course. Unfortunately the ac unit and old style fridge were too noisy and got me up many times during the night. Overall our stay was pleasant. The floors need better mooping and ac unit has to be replaced or fixed.

Switched rooms twice due to bedsheets not being washed / replaced after checking in, in the middle of the night. You could see blood stains, hair and dirt in the feet area of both beds in the room. The towels had stains too. Once we switched rooms, the seers were gross again so we had new sheets brought to our room and had to replace them ourselves. The hallway smells unfresh, we heard dogs barking from other rooms and kids crying all night next to our room. One of the worst hotel experiences.

Old, dirty hotel (I found cockroaches at the reception and inside the room), horrible bathroom, misleading photos. We booked two nights, slept the first one and left for another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel. I had a great balcony view, beds were comfortable and very clean, however the hotel doesn’t have the best parking especially for a surburban. But if you want a little getaway with your family that’s a great start.

Pictures need to be updated for sure, rooms are decent, pillows are small little squares, the body wash in shower was broken and empty, no lotion in bathroom so make sure you bring your own. There is no real bar here, the pool was fun to play. The evening time was hard to sleep because there was parties all over the hotel with loud music and you could hear people yelling and walking all night!

Only rooms with 2 queen beds were offered. Each bed had 3 small pillows. Definitely would have preferred 2 normal size pillows. Hallways are not carpeted. With nothing to absorb sound, you'll hear anyone doing anything in the hall anywhere on your floor. My room has a door to ajoin to the room next door, with a 1" gap at the bottom so you can hear everything going on in the next room. Tv was a roku tv, and every channel i attempted to watch would stutter and buffer. Their was an Amazon Echo dot up and running on the room, for what purpose, I have no idea, but I noticed only the next day. It did respond to an Alexa command so it was on and listening the entire time. We were woken up multiple times from loud noises on our floor in the hallway. I would not stay here again.

The mattresses were very hard. They need to look into changing them out. Also maybe look into looking into putting carpet in the rooms, as it was noisy.. We could hear everything going on in floors below and above us. The hallways were super noisy. Staff could have been a little more friendly.

this "resort" is not much of a resort. The room did not have a clean feeling, lacked comfort / cozy feeling. Meager supplies. Felt more like a hospital room. Large size room but empty. Lots of noise at midnight from families / children running down the hallway. Could not sleep. Good part was it was close to where we had to be and we only had booked for one night.

We stayed on a Sunday night that had very few people in the hotel. However the hotel is so noisy due to no carpets and paper thin walls. The sliding doors to the balcony also seemed very insecure and unsafe. The photos make it look magnificent but in reality the decor is just meh.

They Cancelled my reservation without me knowing, only to arrive at the property and be told this. No compensation was given not even assistance with finding another hotel for the night. Only thing I received was a business card to contact the manager. And when I ask about being refunded, I was told I would get back my money in 3/5 days

From the check-in, everything was amazing. The rooms were super clean housekeeping came in every day. The front desk ladies were amazing and parking was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

Older place but clean. Front desk and service was awful!! Almost to the point of rude. Constantly had to ask for towels, tv to be fixed, front desk said they didn’t have availabllity for another night, but could book online. Little cafe was open, but no help to be found. Having to evacuate from hurricane, you would think they would be a bit nicer.

The whole place need plenty of maintenance, They are calling themselves Golf Resorts, I still looking for the Golf course and I been treated better in a regular one night hotel than in this “golf resort” which I don’t recommend to any golfer cause they would be very disappointed as I was. The lady in the front desk She always on the phone, even if you are in front her she still talking with Her friends and I have to listen things that I don’t need to listen. Five minutes later and if you are lucky enough she may be gonna cut off the phone and say who can I help you? They need a better manager, I better administration. Wyndham hotels should be ashamed

The hotel’s decor is totally retro harking back to old Hollywood days. The hotel was clean so no complaints there. The rooms are very sparsely furnished and have laminate floors so everything echos in the room, and the rooms around you. The balcony was fun to hang out on and the view was great. It’s conveniently located in Sunrise. I’m kinda over the parking fees at Florida hotels when there is clearly plenty of parking. Just raise the room rate a little and stop nickel and diming people to park.

Overall the property was clean and well maintained. The area within 1/4 mile of the resort was nice but beyond that, the area was less than desirable. Beggars are around many stores and gas stations asking for money. I only felt safe when I got back to the hotel but you have to find somewhere safe to eat because the food at the hotel is very limited.

They do need better security as well as lighting in the parking lots the surrounding neighborhood is not the best so safety is a little bit of a concern since it is so easy to get on the property without security around

The resort is a little dated. But it was clean and the rooms were big and beds were really comfortable The check in wa seasy and Arielle was really nice and helpful. There were multiple events going on and I couldnt hear the music or any noise. I love the old concrete construction its solid and you cnat hear nada!! I requwsted a microwave but when I arrived they didnt have one. But theh have one at the lobby so we used it. The hotel is very centric. Las Olas blvd is like 14 mns and 45 from Miami(not at pick times) The pool and the backyard area was clean and it was inviting. Bring your toiletries as the hotel provides the minimum and its not of good quality.

Very nice hotel with unique features. But there is no restaurant in the hotel other than a snack bar and there are no restaurants close by. It is also a little far from everything. We chose it to play golf but the golf course was closed. They need to update their website…

It is my third visit to Chateau Mar and this only gets better. Their outside restaurant is finally open and the food is amazing. I got to know Chef Túlio and he definitely knows his craft. I’m in town once a month and will only stay here. See you soon!

The onsite Island Sips is great, with many tasty and delicious options, but the new Dino's outside in the back near the pool is fantastic. Not only great food options and drinks, but the staff are excellent, and the tiki bar vibe is perfect!
