AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport

check in was pretty good. The hallways where the rooms are smell of mold. It seems there has been some water damage to the hotel. so the HVAC system was not great either as far as them having some mold issues. You could smell it and it affects my breathing and health a little so not a fan of that. the breakfast was ok. Not great and staff were either over enthusiastic in the breakfast area or just not well trained and were a little inappropriate as to how things were run. A bit annoying in the early part of the day to experience. but great area. Staff for the overnight shift were MIA. I waited at the desk for some time and even called a bit later needing towels. So that was a bit frustrating.

Very nice hotel in a location next to an outdoor mall with restaurants and shops. Staff was great.

Blood on pillows and duvet, possible dead bugs (bed bugs?), other guests hair in the bed and on the bed platform, dirty floor, toilet that did not work - the list goes on!

Excellent location! This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! Prime location to restaurants and Shopping! You literally only have to walk across the street for a variety of restaurants and shopping stores. I will definitely stay here whenever I’m in Fort Lauderdale.
