Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn

Pool was in need of a good cleaning, other than that the hotel itself was clean.

Plenty of self parking in the hotel parking lot which is very nice. Don`t feel safe walking off the hotel property.

The hotel was nice, pool area was very nice and the breakfast was good. Noticed a garbage on our floor was over full for the entire stay.

Clean hotel. Little dated. Only complaint is only one ice machine worked on first floor. I was on the fourth floor.

The hotel needs working amenities, upgrade on appliances . The microwave is 1950 not digital you have to turn knob. Ice machine on 2nd floor it’s Not working that’s where I am staying in Handicap Room ..That should be 1st priority to get fix. Big inconvenience and dangerous if I get hurt going to 1st or 3rd floor for ice…

It had established residents staying there. There was not a lot of parking available

No ice in machine on 2nd floor, no juice in the machine at breakfast. The room smelled of dirt, filth,BO, the walls and ceiling were filthy,I found a pop/beer tab in my bed…..hmmm, wonder if sheets were changed…..overall just dirty

Your workout room: the machines doesn't work, and you promote having a workout room for the guest.

The elevator nearest the front desk was out of order!! Everything else was good!

Not real hot water during shower; closest elevator was not working and ice machine on floor of room was not operational.

Dated, dirty, old, moldy shower head, dirty vents, moldy smelling air. Wouldn’t recommend. Continental breakfast was ok. Only reason we stayed here was proximity to what we were in town for. Would have canceled and booked a different place but we had the non-refundable rate. Leave yourself the option to cancel and get a refund and decide for yourself.

You get what you pay for. The beds were comfortable and bug-free, but the entire room smelled like mildew and was very humid. I found mold behind one of the outlet covers.The only way to combat the smell and humidity was to turn the AC down low with the fan constantly on. There is not a fan in the bathroom. Housekeeping did a decent job of picking up trash and replacing towels, but not vaccuuming or cleaning the rooms. There were blood stains on the blackout curtains. The lobby was about the same level of cleanliness. The floors were so sticky that my shoes stuck to the floor with every step. As far as amenities go, I was not impressed. The elevators worked on and off, plus had an inspection that expired in 2023. There are washers and dryers downstairs, but they take your change and then don't work. I put $3 in the dryer and when I told the staff, they wanted me to call the equipment company to get my money back. Furthermore, anyone who needs change has to go across four busy lanes of traffic in a dangerous area because the hotel does not accept or give out cash of any sort. Overall, I was not impressed with this hotel. They cheaped out in the worst ways possible.

Room smelled like vomit, carpet was damp. Staff was very friendly and a nice breakfast, but the hotel was run down and not well kept.

On one of the beds the bed spread/sheet had dried blood on it. We had to get new bedding from the front desk. No housekeeping on staff, only there everyother day. There was no hot water at the bathroom sink. The tv couldn't keep a signal, it was off most of the time. The carpet had stains all over. There was not a new tisse roll placed from last guest, it was less than half on the roll and it looked questionably. Ice machine was broken on our floor, there was only one working machine t/o the whole hotel. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE, STAY AWAY.

There was mold growing in the bathroom and around the AC unit where it was leaking. Went down early to scope out breakfast but couldnt do it after seeing ROACHES. When i told the person working the front desk his response was, ok, ill go clean. Very dismissive.never saw him go clean!

The bed was comfortable and the food was hot for breakfast. Unfortunately, the building inside was a bit beat up and it smelled dank like it needed a dehumidifier or more changeovers with the air. Pool water was a bit dity even though we didn't see it used excessively. The other hotels we stayed in managed it fine, even with stormy weather. Was hoping for more from a Best Western.

The room smelt terrible of mildew upon checkin. We sprayed perfume to make it tolerable. This morning there was a cockroach in the bathroom that I have a photograph of. Breakfast staff cursed at us.

Stayed for three nights at this property. Initially it seemed like a decent room but upon further inspection it seemed like the carpet was mostly vacuumed and the beds were made. It was dusty, the ac unit was gross and sticky with mystery hairs and other things on it, there was hair all over the bathroom floor and left on the walls of the shower, already opened toilet paper was in there along with a lot of mold or dark mildew in the tub/shower area and a rusty shower head. Asked for a different room and couldn’t get one even though they said I should be able to. Talked to two different managers about getting the room more thoroughly cleaned but nothing I alerted them of was addressed. Overall the stay was fine, I just wish they cared a little more for the people staying there.

Room was nasty and a spider in my face when woke up

The staff was great, very responsive and courteous. Breakfast is good, the coffee machine is wonderful. The location is nothing special, but there’s a deli in the building that’s open till 5 am, and the hotel is reasonably close to everything (10 min to both downtown and the airport). There were some minor issues with my original room, but the night clerk helped me move to a new one. Here’s what happened: on the first night, I was awakened around 4:30 am by a loud beep repeating every few seconds. Turns out, the smoke detector battery had run out. There was no maintenance personnel on site, so I had to switch rooms, which was unpleasant as I had already unpacked and was very tired after a long flight. Chandu was kind enough to help me move my stuff. Thanks Chandu! The rooms have definitely seen better days. Switching from faucet to shower head in the tub is a pain, pipes are leaking, water pressure isn’t great, and any attempt to increase it also makes the water much hotter. The AC and fridge are quite noisy. The TV set in my new room would lose brightness a few seconds after turning on, and there was no way to adjust it. I reported the issue to the front desk. Overall, it was an ok experience at a reasonable price by today’s standards.

The hotel was clean. Beds were okay. I like soft mattresses and they were much firmer. Breakfast had plenty of options. The showers water pressure was weak and the water didn’t get very hot

Room 403 is noisy because the fan above the room is working 24/7. We are sad to be designated to this room while the other room is not full. If you get this room, please ask the front desk to change the room.

Pillows were tiny. Super uncomfortable. Tv did not work properly. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. You get what you pay for. If you're on a budget this place will do the job.

Room was clean. Bed and shower great. Front desk clerk was not friendly. Had to change room’s because of problems with key lock. Tv didn’t work even with new remote. Driving distance to downtown. For the price was acceptable.

Room is a good size. Bed is very firm.

Room had microwave and refrigerator. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Mattress was firm and pillows were thin.

The room was fine, but the air conditioner ran all night and was too loud, it kept me up most of the night.

The location is good, 10min from the downtown. The place is good enough for what you pay. But I have to say what I think it was ridiculous, they charged me 25$ extra because I checked out 40min after the time. They knocked at my door to say it was the time to check out. I answered that I was leaving in 30min and they still charged me. It is the first time that something like this happens and I travel a lot. Very Dissapointed

We stayed at the Best Western although I have to admit I was leery after reading some of the recent reviews. I am happy to report that we had no issues our room was clean and had everything we needed, if we did run out the staff at the front was able to provide it no problem. The staff was quiet and not always the most welcoming when you entered the hotel and walked past. A smile, wave or a hello from time to time would go far. Price was reasonable. We had rented a car so we were pleased with the free parking. It was fast to get to Broadway, the Stadium and the freeway to get around Nashville. Great location

Staff very friendly and accommodating our requests. Room clean, had what we needed just to sleep in.older hotel but in good condition. Breakfast was good and topped up when we asked for a restock. Only due to early rises using a lot of it. Would stay again.

The supposed manager was very rude to myself, my wife and several other people that were there. I have traveled quite a bit and stayed at several hotels and I have never experienced or heard someone treat people the way this manager did, I would never stay here again. I had to actually contact Expedia to have them work out the issue I had with the property.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and quick to response when called. Breakfast in the morning was a nice addition.

We ended up here because an event in town had driven room prices up significantly when we where coming in town. We had modest expectations coming in, but the property was substandard in all areas. Front desk was frazzeled and took half an hour to check in. Staff was polite and helpful for the most.part, but management was short and they and expedia gave us the runaround when an issue popped up, which never got resolved. Cleanlines was over substandard.

The person on duty was great. Very friendly and let us check in early.

a few minutes to the airport, easy access to downtown, broadway, vanderbilt University. Very good breakfast

Area was very sketchy and the parking lot was scary at night. Room was great

Decent for the price. Nice location next to the freeway but nothing nearby for dining. Area surrounding the property was run down and unattractive. Okay for a cheap simple stay but not a good pick for family vacation.

Our king room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We liked the citrus toiletries. There were many selections for breakfast, including delicious scrambled eggs and waffles. This hotel provided excellent value for the price.
