The heated pool wasn’t heated. Was so cold. Had to ask for pool towel’s multiple times before some were delivered. Didn’t get maid service (would like new towels and garbages emptied at least). Toilet was wiggly and I felt like it was going to fall off. Not sure if this was due to short staff but wasn’t very impressed. Location was perfect for what we needed it for!

Almost everything in this hotel needed updating, from the dingy towels to the saggy mattress, stained boxspring and threadbare sheets, not to mention the ancient microwave and dented mini fridge that made loud noises periodically throughout the night. The pool and hot tub were open but the railings were all dangerously loose and they were unable to come up with more than two towels. Things were clean enough, just well past their optimal lifespan. We passed on breakfast. Best I can say is this hotel was very convenient, but next time I’d drive back to Hurricane for a more comfortable stay at a lower price.

Great value for price at this older but still very clean and tidy Howard Johnson's in St. George. Staff were very friendly at check-in. The room itself, a king suite with a separate seating area and two TVs, was a bargain at peak travel season at just $61. Parking was right next to the door. I'll definitely book again here the next time I pass this way!

Very nice staff, central location in St George, free simple yet filling breakfast. Pool was closed for the season but the jacuzzi was open (i didnt try it out though) and whole property was clean. Room was clean & spacious, bed was actually alright, room had microwave and mini fridge. AC/heat worked great. No weird smells. For the price it was perfect. Will be staying here again.

It was a comfortable room but carpet was very dirty, and the during our stay of 27 days the room was only cleaned 3 times. The staff was very nice but I feel they could do better outside sidewalks need to be hosed down, trash at times overflowing everywhere! Breakfast very minimal should start at 6 not 7 my husband left everyday at 6 to drive to his job and never got breakfast during the week! Laundry room only had one working washer and one dryer that drys well.

The check in experience was good and they upgraded both of our 2-Queen bed room to suite. It was a standard motel with pool which is having heated jacuzzi. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There were ample free parking just outside of the room corridor. The free breakfast was having just bread, cereal, banana, yogurt, but also had boiled egg. Overall it’s a nice comfy hotel to stay for a night with a nice view outside.

I picked this property based on ratings and price. Higher end ratings, middle ground price range. I booked 6 weeks in advance. I was very dissatisfied in the quality of the room based on what I paid. There was animal hair on the walls, human hair on the walls in shower, dents in walls and doors, the door jam had so many gaps that someone could see into the room, the towels were dingy, the shower curtain had mold. I was disgusted. We didn’t use the shower. Bought sheets to sleep on. We were only in the room to sleep because of a busy competition schedule that weekend or I would have complained to the front desk for a refund. I knew our options were limited for other accommodations because of the amount of people in the city those days. I feel bad even leaving a review, but it was not a clean environment to stay in.

The room smelled mildewy, the door to the bathroom had water damage, and our dogs found another dog's toy (so it mist not be cleaned very well between visitors). the room next to us had people smoking a lot so as soon as we opened the door we got a strong smell coming from their door.

I honestly thought people were exaggerating when they said this property wasn’t the cleanest. I’m not even that picky. Unfortunately, it didn’t even smell clean walking in. The bare minimum was “cleaned” (sink, toilet, tub—I hope), and beds made. But the majority of the surfaces—walls, doors, and corners were dusty, stained, and just grimey. The breakfast was limited with very little protein options. If you have a restricted diet—it definitely will not work. I have stayed at cheaper hotels in the middle of nowhere that had spotless rooms and better breakfast options. This was disappointing.

The room was filthy. The carpet was terribly dirty and the bedding stunk. There was even a burn in the bedspread (looked to be a cigarette burn). I stayed in the room maybe 4 hours is all. I didn't even shower because the towels were a dirty gray and there was a huge black ring around the tub. I am embarrassed if this property is owned by Wyndham. We have condo shares with Worldmark by Wyndham that are great! That company would never rent rooms that needed condemned!

Old, outdated, uncomfortable. Towels were gray instead of white. Bathroom door was broken and towel rack was falling off the wall. Trim was chewed and damaged throughout the room. Carpets were stained. Walls were filthy and dented/scuffed. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable and had stained coverlets. We didn't even attempt the breakfast due to the condition of our room. This motel needs some updates. The review won't allow me to upload photos to show the condition of the room, but it's not great.

It was terribly dirty room. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well for a very long time. The baseboards were so caked with dirt, the doors hadn’t been wiped down in months… the shower had hair and a dirty wash cloth still hanging on the shower rod. There were bugs smeared in the mirror and the bedding was from 1970. I asked for the room to be cleaned while we were there and that didn’t happen as well as needed more towels and didn’t get them until 9 pm after asking for them 4 times. It was a disgusting stay and we won’t ever be back. Door lock needs attention and the entire room needs cleaning and updating!! Room number was 105 on the bottom floor stayed March 28-30 2025, Karma Peterson. Wyndim Suites should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this place! Definitely a dive in the hotel world!!!!

Check in was very good. Had a very friendly gentleman greet us and checked us in promptly. Room was nice and clean exactly what we expected. The only complaint I would have is the lighting in the room is poor - the bathroom sink area has no lighting tough to shave etc without some sort of light.

The room is updated, was clean, and looked nice, but it was SOOOO hot in my room. It was a 100+ degree day, but despite the ac being on when I got in there, it took all night for the temperature in the room to be comfortable. I was sweating just laying in bed and ended up sleeping most of the night on the couch next to the ac unit. A ceiling fan would go a long way in helping cool down the back of the room!

For a one night stay it was ok, any more I would not recommend. The was oddly half updated. The tv remote did not work, the shower did not drain properly and the toilet was loose. The bed was comfortable that’s why I would would recommend for a one night stay.

The man who checks you in is very friendly! We love their King suites. We have stayed a lot of different hotels in st George but Howard Johnson hotel is our favorite. Clean I even check the top of the shower wall it is always clean. It is very quiet on the top floor as well as the bottom floor. It has a couch and coffee table a tv room and the fridge is bigger than other hotels it has its own freezer which is really nice. A bigger microwave than other hotels as well. While rest in bed it has its own tv in there as well. The king size bed is very comfortable. There is a huge closet and a safe which is an extra security in my opinion. It doesn’t matter which king suite we get it is always clean and comfortable that’s why we always stay there.

1st, they charged me a $49.30 fee incorrectly and didn't mention it. When i asked them their response was "its being refunded" as if that somehow excuses them from telling me. I only realized the charge was made because i got 3 different payment notifications on my phone as I stood at the counter. 2nd, they asked for my card as a security deposit but, didn't tell me that they were actually charging $100 on my debit card. They should've made that clear BEFORE charging it. This is in addition to paying a $40 pet fee...so, we had the $65.59 Expedia payment for my wife & I then a $40 fee for my two 15lb dachshunds plus an improper $49.30 fee then a $100 security deposit pulled $254.89 out of my account. Also, their breakfast was just hard boiled eggs, toast and bananas. Now, the room itself was much nicer than a $65.59 room. Still, it really bothered me that they failed to inform me that they had mistakenly charged me $49.30 (I had better get it back) and failed to ASK if they could actually debit $100 from my bank account for the security deposit. Places should be clear that it is a "Continental" breakfast in their advertising. We went to Burger King.

Nice, clean hotel for the price. Convenient location. Pet friendly. Okay experience overall but be aware of unauthorized charges to credit card. The $100 pet incidental deposit that I was told would be refunded morning of check-out was NOT refunded. I tried to get ahold of hotel to dispute but was unable to get ahold of someone after calling several times and ultimately had to dispute with credit card company. We stayed one night and only used the room to sleep, you wouldn't have been able to tell an animal was even in the room. Absolutely no reason for deposit to have not been refunded.

The property is fine. Employees are confrontational and don't care about costumers. Was told it was the customers job to check the room after checking in to see if you have everything needed. We arrived very late and didn't notice the room had no towels, when we asked the front desk for towels it took over 2 hours to get towels and then where told we where trying to steal towels.

House keeping comes every other day. Understand why, however when I asked them to changes my sheets. The gentleman told me they didn’t look dirty. I told them again, he said they didn’t look dirty. How the hell would he know what was going on in the room. If they are going to clean every other day. Then they should clean, vacuum, bathrooms, actual clean the room. Not just take the trash out. I can do that myself. Do better!!

The breakfast was a continental breakfast, which I could have miss read and was expecting more so that disappointment is on me, The bathroom needed repair by the shower due to water damage from the shower about 3 inches in diameter. However, they upgraded us to the larger suite no charge. (not a part of the water damage issue) and the staff was very professional and kind. Over all I would recommend staying. The food was good as well as the coffee.

The shower was disgusting. It looked like mold all along one side of the shower. We were told that breakfast was at 7:30. This consisted of a piece of toast and a hard boiled egg. There was only a table for four people. They were unable to give me a receipt when checking out or even tell me how much we owed. They said we would receive an email from Expedia. I made the reservation in the car traveling down the highway and looked up Howard Johnson and did not go through Expedia. To date I have received nothing from anyone!

It’s a great location. It’s cheap enough that I got two rooms so my family had space. But there was hair and chip crumbs inside the covers of my daughter’s bed and a very dirty shower. And the breakfast in the morning was terrible. We walked to McDonald’s. Not sure I would stay here again.
