Hotel is neglected-needs maintenance. Piles and piles and piles of cigarette butts around all entrances. Shower didn’t drain, keys don’t work, AC sketchy. Breakfast is nothing but bagels and yogurt. Most supplies at breakfast were empty. Waffles empty. Creamers empty. Milk empty. Save your money and go across the street to the Express Inn. 1/3 the price and about equal in quality.

Older property. Everything worked fine. Lack of plugs for charging. Didn't use the WiFi. TV was very very small, but the cable was good and worked fine. If you want to update this property, start with the room wiring, get a 45 inch or larger TV for the room, and update the paint, steps to the second floor. They make the property look older than it is.

NO POOL at this location. Choice Hotels site, Google, and various third party listing sites show pictures and list indoor heated pool as amenity. You have to click into fine details below pet policy and scroll all the way to the bottom to find ONE line that states pool is permanently closed. It was also NOT stated on reservation confirmation. (As a side note, the other hotel in town with an outdoor pool has also permanently closed theirs.)

I arrived early afternoon to check in. I order 2 rooms with 2 queens each, there were 4 of us. We returned to the hotel late at night to find out that there was no elevator and we would have to haul everything upstairs at 1 am in the morning. When we got up there we then realize we were give 2 rooms with 1 queen bed in ea. a gentleman approach me because he saw how frustrated I was over the error. Once I could calm down he ask for my Room keys and he would fix it. He got us rooms on the first floors 2 queens in each room. This personwas of Indian descent, I didn’t catch his name but he made it right. I thank him for fixing what the day Shift employee did. Breakfast was bad waffles taste fermented and we all through them away. The cream Cheese was Old and dried up. This hotel was number 5 for us For the week and all had the breakfast included so we had eating the same waffle mix for the passed 4 days. Your waffle batter was spoiled and tasted terrible, Someone is going to get sick. I would look into This. Neighborhood was felt unsafe but nothing actually happened. Rooms were old and smelled. They either need to put some Money into this hotel or close it.

There's construction going on at the hotel, so it was noise until 9: 00 at night. The pool was closed. Nothing that the aid said, was happening at the hotel .

Would not recommend. Claimed to have a pool, and showed, pics. However the pool was closed - and had been closed a long time. They have no plans to reopen it. I should be refunded.

The lady working the desk was super nice, despite chatting with her phone on speakerphone… First room I was given… I walked in and it was never cleaned. Bed not made, cups sitting around, dirty towels. At least no one was in it! The lady working the desk apologize (and her mom chimed in on the speakerphone… it was funny, but maybe not professional). 😬 Second try… room was better, but could have had better detail for cleaning. Faucet still will toothpaste splatter, hairs in the sink and splatter spots on the nightstand. The bed was clean and the bathroom was as well. Certainly not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, but could use some more attention to detail. Hotel is older, has received a general facelift (paint, finishes). Some areas still smell of smoke odor and just the smells that come with an older facility. I’d give it a 2.8/5. I’d give it another shot if I was in the area for work again.

The complimentary hot breakfast was non existent. It consisted of make your own waffles and other cold products like cereal. It smelled like urine throughout the hotel. It was dirty and felt uninviting. I stayed at this same hotel 5 years ago and it was a totally different experince then. Happy clean inviting. This hotel also does not accept cash payment. They will take your cash in the vending machines.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, waffles were great & I enjoyed they have multiple options on toppings. Our room smelled like cigarettes with a lot of air freshener. Sheets and room carpets were clean. Shower head was detached off the wall & our bathroom sink leaked all over the floor when turned on. The stairways smell terrible but small enough to hold your breath as you race up or down the stairs. We made a bit of a game of it.

We stayed as it was a family visit and they had a full house. Breakfast was good and fresh ! We stayed 3 nights and room was hot when we got in late in evening but AC cooled quickly. Our third day we didn’t get fresh towels and luckily we had just enough toilet paper as only one extra we there for our 2nd and 3rd day All in all it was good but wouldn’t rate great

Managers just want your money. Explained multiple times I had an emergency going on. Never used their services, but they still felt obligated to take my hard earned money. I understand no-refund policy, but what happened to being human? I’m a repeat customer that does work in town often. Guess I’ll be finding somewhere else. Terrible customer service.

When we arrived, they were having trouble with their system and could not check anyone in. They gave us our room and let us pay later when problem was solved. Everyone was polite and helpful. Everything very clean.

It was the best place to stay in Decatur Indiana the pool was warm and clean and the staff was nice and professional and very polite. The Continental breakfast was very filling and a lot to choose from.
