The Ritz-Carlton Budapest

The Staff was amazing in every aspect of performance. Our room was had everything we wanted—simply perfect—as were the gym and pool! Again, this Staff was unsurpassed in customer support!

Very nice hotel, right in the city centre. We had a fantastic stay and very much enjoyed the club lounge experience here, better than most.

Amazing service from the staff very attentive. The Spa treatments were amazing and spacious rooms.

Ein wenig scheinen die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen zu sein (merkt man an den Lichtschaltern und dem Stil der Bäder), aber das ist - noch - kein Drama. Insgesamt ein sehr feines Stadthotel, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt sehr gut, ich komme gerne wieder.

The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest was one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The customer service, the staff, the rooms, the lounge, bar and restaurant were all amazing. They truly care about their guests and want to make sure everyone has a great experience. The concierge service/staff in this hotel is fantastic! Great location too.

This is not up to the standards of a Ritz Carlton hotel at all. From the moment we walked in our room was not ready. It took over 1.5 hours to get our luggage brought to the room. After waiting long for our luggage I asked for another luggage rack for the room and it never came. There were no pleasantries from the staff. We came from Ritz Carlton Berlin which was the polar opposite. We were offered drinks and Christmas treats. There was nothing in Budapest. The breakfast was mediocre at best. No one smiled. While I had a very nice massage from Vera in the spa the spa was tiny and offered very little. Children were also allowed in and it was noisy. Not what you want to hear while you are trying to relax One of the biggest issues for me was the noise. We were backing on to the fashion street it was where the garbage is picked up. Loud at 6am every morning. We paid for a 5 star hotel and this was a 3.5 at best. We were really disappointed.

The best Club service and personnel we have had. This property is not only beautiful, well-appointed, and spacious, but extremely centrally located. Walk to anything!

Large and clean room, mattress too soft absolutely unconfortable, pillows and bright lightness could be improved. Excellent Wi Fi and the number of electrical sockets available. Breakfast buffet quality was very good but even if seems to have a limited choice, almost everything can be found ordering from the menu, included in the breakfast price. Fast and friendly service. Check in took too long, very fast check out. Nice and confortable lobby.

Housekeeping was ok, can be superb if more attention to cleanness would be kept

Excelente hotel! Cama maravilhosa, atendimento, instalações, cama, café da manhã! Tudo nota 10. Se for muito chato e indicar um ponto negativo seria o tamanho do BOX que é pequeno em relação ao quarto. O resto é nota 10! Parabéns!

I absolutely adore this hotel! From start to finish, my stay was a fantastic experience, and I can confidently say that their breakfast was the best I had during my entire trip. The restaurant staff were truly top-notch—so warm and attentive. On my last day, the breakfast restaurant manager(give her a raise!) noticed how much I loved the traditional Hungarian bread, Pogácsa, and went out of her way to gift me the recipe and even pack a bag for me to take along. That thoughtful gesture completely made my day! Every morning, I couldn’t wait to start my day with their amazing breakfast. And let me tell you about their cappuccino—unlike the usual, uninspired machine-made ones, this was beautifully prepared, rich, and absolutely delicious. I loved it so much I had two cups every morning! The hotel’s location was also great. While it was a bit far from the main train station, I was still able to visit all the major attractions on foot in just one day, which made it super convenient. Their dinner restaurant was pretty good too. Now, for a couple of minor things they could improve: The bathroom layout was a bit odd, even for a solo traveler like me. The shower stall was very small (and I’m quite petite!), and there wasn’t enough space for my skincare and makeup products. Also, whenever I washed my face, water splashed everywhere. Additionally, my room faced the street, and it was a bit too loud for me to fall asleep. Still, highly recommend.

Amazing stay at the Ritz in Budapest! We were there for the Christmas markets. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we woke up late and needed breakfast and coffee. They were super helpful with holding our luggage before and after checkout. The room was the most amazing room I’ve ever stayed in! It overlooked Fashion Street. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and pastries as well. It is centrally located to everything we wanted to see! I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It was outstanding!

We loved the service provided by the staff. They were very attentive, polite, helpful. Breakfast in particular was a delight. The staff (especially Malee and Sophia) made our visit extra special.

Staff at reception is below average to terrible, except for the manager Zsuzanna H - she’s excellent and very helpful. I think they are pretty understaffed. Way below expectations for a Ritz!!!

Perfekt service

A truly wonderful hotel with excellent service! The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. We traveled to celebrate our anniversary, and the hotel staff went out of their way to surprise us with a special gesture and a personal message—such a warm touch that made our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was particularly noteworthy, offering a fantastic selection. The hotel’s central location is also ideal, with the shopping street and many attractions within walking distance. Highly recommended for a stay in Budapest!

Service was pretty poor.. closer to 3 star Hotel Staff was more interested to chat with each other then looking after the guests. The only Ritz that has 3-4 guys standing in front of the entrance and you still have to open the door yourself The other time there was no door man at all. Restaurant service as slow as it can get… everyone runs around and does something but you still wont get your coffee for 15-20 min.. Food.. you better order a day in advance We stayed last 12 months in 4 different Ritz properties and this one had the poorest service by far… Staff needs way more training.

Great location, Metro just a few metres away and easily walkable to the main Christmas markets. Hotel staff were all fantastic. We stayed in a Club Suite with lounge access which offered some tasty snacks and even a wine tasting one evening. We had a very early flight and when we told the concierge of this he offered to organise a breakfast pack with coffee ready for us to pick up on check-out at 3-15am, a welcome treat which was most appreciated.

A fabulous Ritz-Carlton property centrally located on the vibrant Pest side of the city. Surrounded by shops, rooftop bars and restaurants. Close to the shuttle bus to the Buda Castle district, as well as the metro and cruise ship docks.

La experiencia en el hotel fue muy buena aunque en su único Restaurant una mesera fue muy grosera ambos días que tuvimos que tratar con ella. Lástima pues es un súper hotel. Los demás muy amables

There were problems with our prearranged tour. We had to wait to find another tour guide. I felt we were an after thought about it. The tour guide seems like he had just rolled out of bed. Concierge made us reservations at a local restaurant. They tried to seat us in the worst table in the restaurant in the middle of the crowd waiting by the front door. I refused to sit there. I would think if you were sent as a guest of the hotel you should have been given a better table and not be put in this situation.

5* service. Breakfast was lovely so where the cocktails. The staff are friendly and helpful. Room was lovely comfortable bed and pillows. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The restaurant was not good

This property is not up to R-C standard. Breakfast servers were slow and forgot our orders. Concierge desk worked hard but misinformed us the price of personal tour price. Will not go back there again.
