Great stay, spacious and clean room, very friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable beds and a pool, brunch restaurant and 24/7 convenience store onsite but also other food, snack and drink options available for purchase. Also very close to Universal, Disney and many other attractions and activities as well as many stores, food places, restaurants and bars. Some beaches are also close if driving.

My sister and I stayed nights at the hotel. It was very close to Universal Studios. I enjoyed the gym in the morning. We had dinner at Shogun, which was in the hotel everything we needed as in the drugstore restaurants in souvenir gift shops were in a walking distance.

Great hotel. Dated but so clean and well kept. Near every restaurant on IDrive and Universal and walkable to many restaurants and shops and experiences. Just be forewarned traffic and crowds can be bad by Icon Park and on I Drive. Don’t drive there on Saturday night. The room was spacious, the pool was large and so clean and the gym equipment was well kept. We’d stay here again.

We have stayed here many times, it’s always been our go to however this time apparently they now have a hidden parking charge if $10 per day. I booked the room before this new ridiculous charge came about and yet was still forced to pay. It was NO where on my reservation confirmation of a parking charge.Very rude about it as well. Will never stay here again.

Family trip to Universal. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Hotel was kept extremely clean. It's an old building, but kept up very well. Bathrooms are very small, but good enough for a night or two. The market inside the hotel is much larger than most hotels and has most anything you coukd think of. The Japanese steakhouse was good. Staff there was great. The bar was nice, but high priced, especially because the glasses are small (similar to a scotch glass) and they were only filled 3/4 full ( and this wasn't a fluke, went there two nights in a row. We utilized the shuttle to Universal, which was convenient. I just wish they started the pick up a bit earlier. Dropped off after 9 at the park and pick ups didn't start until 5:15. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a trip to Universal

Firstly arriving to the property you needed to have a reservation to gain acess to the property. Safe and secure the front desk check in was friendly and quick. The property is clean and there are restaurants on the property as well as a bar and souvenir store. There is a full arcade for the kids the ppol is clean. My family and i had a wonderful stay.

The property is well kept, clean and comfortable. Shuttles to Universal were convenient and Uber from park after hours was quick. Breakfast buffet is good, fruits, yogurt cereal eggs bacon hash brown waffle stations etc, would be pricey for multiple days though. Pool area is nice. Short walk to several restaurants and shops. Beds are fairly comfortable. There is a little noise from traffic/highway but after a long busy day it didn’t matter too much.

Title: Extremely Disappointed – Poor Hygiene and Dirty Room I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I entered the room, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. There was hair in the bathtub, under the door, and even on the bed sheets, which clearly hadn’t been changed. The bathtub was dirty, the doors were grimy, and the overall condition of the room felt neglected and unhygienic. It’s unacceptable to pay for accommodation and find it in such poor condition, especially when basic cleanliness should be a minimum standard. I will not be returning and do not recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort and hygiene. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleaning standards. A clean and welcoming environment makes all the difference for guests and could completely change the experience.

There was no breakfast which is fine I just couldn’t rate it if there wasn’t any. There was globs of toothpaste on the bathroom door when we got there, no soap, and hair in the shower. The main problem were the ghost ants though. We couldn’t have anything to eat in our room or they would get into it somehow. They were all over the table and dresser. We ran out of things which was also fine but when we called to request it, even offering to get it ourselves, they said they would have someone bring it all up but they brought half of what we needed. We didn't get to spend a lot of time at the hotel because of this being a business trip. Nothing bad, pretty ave stay. Good things, the Rosen brand seems to be pretty consistent on the I-Drive area. We have stayed at nearly all of the Rosen I-Drive locations over the past year. All pretty clean, the rooms are consistent in style. We will say, at some of the higher price locations, the clientele was definitely better. That is no fault of this location. Just an observation.

We had a poor experience at the Rosen Inn. We stayed on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, when Orlando was experiencing unuaually cold weather. When we arrived, there was only one person - the manager - working the front desk, and we waited in line to check in for *over an hour*. While we were waiting in line, there was a person manning the excursions desk standing within eyeshot, but they couldn't help other than ask those of us in line we wanted to book anything. When we finally got to the front, we were hande a key that didn't work. Because the rooms open to the outside, we were stuck outside in the freezing cold for another half hour while they figured out what was going on. The rooms themselves were fine, but they let in a lot of noise (even the ones facing the courtyard). We went to discuss our poor experience with the front desk in the morning, and were basically brushed off by the employee (who gave his name as "Thomas"). All in all, we're glad we were only here for one night. We can't recommend this hotel.

I feel like I was catfished with this hotel. The pictures all show a hotel that has doors inside the building so I assumed that’s where we’d be staying. (As a single woman traveler I feel safer staying in that style hotel and rely on pictures to make sure that’s the style). But we arrived and there’s a second building with doors on the outside. And naturally, that’s where our room was. It was okay, until about 10pm when people started rolling in after parks closing. It was LOUD, we sleep with a white noise machine but it still sounded like we had the door and windows open. It was constant noise from 10 till at least midnight. We were booked for two nights but ended up leaving for the second in favor of our own beds and a quiet sleep. Thankfully we’re semi-local and had that option. That being said. The staff members were lovely! The front desk worker chatted with us about theme park happenings. And when I called about a broken tv, maintenance came within 15 mins and brought in a new one! I will not be staying again. But if you’re a very heavy sleeper and feel safe staying in a hotel with doors on the outside, it would work in a pinch.

There is a large busy road nearby and the door of the room has large gaps around it, meaning it is absolutely not soundproof, it's like sleeping outside. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. After the first day, housekeeping had not come to clean our room. Complained to front desk...said they would fix this . After the second day, no housekeeping to clean our room again. Third day, checked out. Talked to Joshua who said he was the front desk manager. He told us to take our problem up with housekeeping. Will probably not be going back to this hotel.

The staff member upon arrival our first night was just rude and not friendly at all. The next morning we went to check out the breakfast and decided against it and as we were walking out a man asked us aggressively if this was the Rosen International, we told him no. We passed the front desk with the worker who was sitting watching the interaction who just said no and shook their head. I suggested they tell the person instead of a person who was not registered to be there walking around asking potentially posing a threat.

Their system was down upon check-in. Thirty mins to wait in line and get a room but the room card wasn't working so you had to wait for security to come up and give you access. It was about 4 hrs until they had a card that would work. Not a huge deal but maybe they could have offered a free breakfast or at least a discount. Room was average and the bed wasn't very comfortable. I guess you get what you pay for. I don't think I'd stay here again.

Invasion of privacy If you value your privacy and do not wish for housekeeping or any member of your hotel staff to enter your room, simply ask the front desk for a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign. These signs are usually already available in a hotel room however, as this is a very normal request. Not at the Rosen Inn 6327 International Drive Orlando, FL 32819!! They don’t have a do not disturb sign. Instead they have the sign you will see in my attachment. It is more of a legal disclaimer. With it on your door housekeeping will not enter. But…security will!! I used the deadbolt on my door and the lock latch which only allows a door to be opened a couple of inches. Privacy, right? Security will knock on your door and yell ‘Wellness Check’. If you don’t answer your door in 15 seconds they try to come in. If your door is locked with the latch and they physically cant get in they keep trying, and trying. When I finally got the door a few minutes later I’m told I have no right to privacy. I’m told there are no do not disturb signs. I tell security my room is paid for. I ask him what he is looking for. He tells me he’s looking for a dead body. The sign I attached says a number of things security is looking for, but it is a lie. If you answer the door and they don’t enter and they see you aren’t dead, they will leave. But they will be back tomorrow and the next day and the next day. If you want privacy, stay elsewhere. If you want strangers to enter your paid room, stay here.

We spent the night on (11/11) just to get a nights sleep before checking into a resort hotel in the morning. The only reason I'm rating this is because of the wonderful woman working the check-in - Desree? (Apologies if spelt incorrectly) She was the only one working the counter and kept such a positive, friendly attitude despite what might of been stressful for others in her position working solo. When it was our turn to check-in her kind and resourceful personality kept on giving. She made small jokes with us and was entertaining in a professional manner. Clearly it was a little understaffed but you didn't just wait around bored. Desree had such an upbeat vibe with the customers ahead that it was not just a stale quiet wait time. Sweetheart! The Rose Inn is grateful such an enthusiastic and personable employee. Location is in walking distance of restaurants and a mini golf that of course has a live gator theme. I would stay again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm sorry to say I don't remember the name of the woman working in the gift shop/snack shop when we staryed, but she was above and beyond friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is conveniently a very short ($5 Uber ride) to CityWalk and walkable to a variety of restaurants and small shops. Would stay again. Worth the price.

Close enough to walk to universal, 30 min. City bus can take you in front on the hotel on the other side of the street and bring you to the universal parking, just like the universal buses, for $2. Second stay here, my spot at universal for Orlando informer on the cheaper side.

Meh. Average at best. We arrived around 7 PM and none of the restaurants or lounge were open? We had to order DoorDash the whole reason I booked a room here is because it had several lounges and a bar. The bathroom is tiny. The hallway on our floor smelled like trash and was being found out by fans as if something spilled or flooded.

We had a nice stay here for the price/value. It could use updating but everything is clean. The pool is well kept and maintained. We literally saw a gentleman cleaning every square inch of the lounge chairs by the pool, which is so important. There is some noise from the highway so if you’re a light sleeper, take into account. I am one but it didn’t overly bother me but I was super tired each night. There is no central a/c in rooms or hallways but is there in lobby and restaurant. There is a wall unit that is effective so it does keep a room cool but does shut on and off every 10 minutes or so, so keep in mind as well. Rooms seem pretty sound proof. Breakfast was ok but nothing great. We had it one morning, in a pinch and they do give you 20% off for one visit. We didn’t get to try the Japanese steakhouse right in the hotel but would have if we had more time. There is a security guard 24/7 at entrance so that was a comfortable feeling. We couldn’t beat the price for 5 nights, all in, no resort or parking fees $405. All we needed was a place to sleep and it did the job. When all was said and done we were just fine with our decision, on a budget.

Of particular notice was the restaurant. The staff was attentive, polite, professional and clean. The menus, breakfast and dinner were diverse, full of variety, and everything I selected was positively delicious. It's by far the best dining experience i've ever had while travelling. 10/10
