Super hot elevator. Our room had no AC until someone came to fix it. Fitness center closed. Pool was great. You can tell it was a great place at one time, with a ballroom and restaurant... but it is a little dated. We loved the bakery that was 2 blocks down!

The hotel served it's purpose. Stayed overnight after being at Adventure City all day. Swimming pool was clean, but there were no towels for drying off. Free parking and easy walk to restaurants.

the pool did not work the entire week we were there, the hotel elevators would get stuck and we couldn’t get out, they were also dirty. On one occasion the elevator was not leveled to the floor. The room itself was dirty and dusty when we first arrived, one bathroom did not work correctly,

They are going through a remodel and we had to change rooms 3 times. Rooms were supposed to have 2 tvs and we were told they took out the living room ones to change them. There was rust in the closets. Tv in master bedroom for 1 room had lines through it. The girl in the office was nice enough to change us rooms until we were comfortable. Pool and fitness room was closed and those are important amenities for my family. It was a mess and we were offered free cancelation but I had nowhere else to go with my kids.

The property is filthy from the parking lot to the rooms. If the app allowed me to submit photos, I would. Garbage was everywhere and never picked up. One of the towels had what appeared to be dried blood. We asked for extra clean towels, never got them. The toilet didn’t have enough pressure to flush. We reported it to the front desk and they did nothing so we had to pour water into it. 4 elevators and only 2 worked. The other 2 didn’t have a sign advising they were non operable. We found out from one of the cleaning ladies. Old furniture, the slats on the doors to our room were broken so anyone walking by could see in. Terrible experience.

The room was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. From dusty blinds to oil prints on the head board, one wash cloth for three guests and a freezer that still contained a frozen water bottle. We requested towels and wash clothes and 24 hours later, had to make our way downstairs to request in person , no luck, because we still had to personally walk downstairs to laundry area to get clean towels. Best part was walking distance to Porto’s, other diners and knotts soak City. Outside of that, I don’t recommend staying there and management needs to do a better job of ensuring guests room are clean and adequate supplies are in place before they check in.

Worst hotel stay. Starting from roaches in the bathroom. The tub leaked all night and day. It would not drain. The room smelled old and it was outdated. The pool was dirty. We arrived on a Thursday night and left Saturday morning we saw only another couple besides us the entire time. They smelled like pot. We stayed in room 221 right infront of the elevator and we can here every noise from outside of our room. The walls were so thin that we can hear the room upstairs and it would tremble in our room. We would walk the halls and rooms were boarded up and nobody insight. We could here the maids screeming to one another but couldnt see them. The hotel looks like a hunted place. Really creepy. We stayed because we had paid for it and no refund. Never again. Dont even know how this place is still functioning. Very disappointed and it is walking distance to Knotts.

We didn’t stay , we left . The rooms had mold and smelled like the mold had been there for a long time . There are electrical wires exposed in front of the elevators. We moved from one room to another and still that horrible smell and mold were in the new room. He then asked for our refund to stay at another hotel . We are going in three days into our vacation of not having their manager approve our refund. It’s so inconvenient to have our vacation funds tied up because of incompetence, unprofessionalism and self righteousness.

The pictures were deceptive. The room we stayed in was old and dirty. Found many hair in the towels and blankets. There no A/C or heat but the fan that runs all day creates a regular click and hum ALL NIGHT. Balcony door has a permanent gap since it refuses to open further or close. Pull-out sofa bed had the saddest most messed up mattress ever. Ended up putting that bad boy back and just sleep on it as a couch. People working there are attentive and there seem to be renovation going on. Let's hope they can revive this place.

The hotel is really run down, our first room had a toilet with such low water flow it wouldn’t flush. The pull out couch didn’t have sheets or a blanket. The room was humid. There was no temperature control in the rooms. Most of the furniture was damaged. You can tell at some point it was a nice hotel but that was probably 20 years ago. Won’t be staying here again.

First impression straightaways OK there’s construction going on outside, The lobby looks nice and has a pirates of the Caribbean vibe. One elevator was broken, but the stairs to the second floor were easy access in regards to where our room was at. The room itself needed some TLC. Lots of damaged walls/floors. The couch was falling apart and the pull out bed portion was nothing but springs, very uncomfortable and also had no sheets. I don’t know if the floor is at a slant or not, but the bedside table drawer kept opening on its own. There was a towel left from the previous room occupants hanging outside on the balcony. The biggest plus with staying at this hotel is the walking distance to medieval times.

This was THE worst stay I’ve ever had anywhere. The staff at front desk were extremely rude, rooms were dirty, no towels, broken elevators, broken doors in suite, wall switches not working. We arrived at our room around 11:45pm from Knotts to find that our room keys were not working. When we went down to the office there was a line of guests experiencing the same thing as us with keys not working and told there was no more towels. This hotel looks like it was a nice place to stay at one point in time but the new management can care less about your stay or upkeep of hotel. I wish I would have read the reviews before staying here.

While the front desk has improved their service, the "General Manager" Emmanuel has zero business running a hotel. Our shower began leaking from inside the wall out onto the floor, this was at 10pm. I contacted the front desk, no rooms available to move. I mean there were but they were all dirty because housekeeping didn't clean all the rooms, just those that were on reserve for the day. Our option for showers? Go to a room that is unable to be rented out because of the horrible smell in the room. We were told the General Manager could help further in the morning. What time? 7am. Fast forward to the am, told he doesn't have a set schedule, so, comes in when he chooses. 930am speak with Emmanuel who basically says he can do a 10% discount. I let him know this wasn't acceptable and asked for his supervisor. He states he's the general manager and answers to nobody. I'm thinking he answers to corporate at the very least. Unfortunately, the owner is an LLC. They've been contacted but I have no hope they will do anything. As typical, there are no towels. So definitely bring your own towels, wash clothes, hand towels, and pool towels if you insist on staying here. I don't know how exactly a hotel runs out of towels. Either they have not purchased enough or housekeeping doesn't wash them all before leaving for the night. Rooms are still dirty. Floors are gross. Spiders and webs everywhere. Final thought, Emmanuel has no business running a hotel and it shows.

Even though the spot of the hotel was perfect close to everything and walkable as well. The hotel itself did not help on making it perfect. When we got to our room the floors were very dirty and Trash behind the furniture. We went to complain to the front desk and she kindly gave us another room but when we entered the room it was dirty as well. Housekeeping needs to step it up. Also, asked multiple times for extra towels since they only gave us two towels when clearly the reservation was for a family of 5. Staffing kept saying to wait an hour and after three hours another hour and was added to a “list” in order for them to take the towels to your room. My husband went back at 11pm to ask for towels again and front desk stated that they had just given the last four to another person. Ridiculous how they don’t keep there word. Never staying here again.

The manger is the most unprofessional and rude I ever met He also walked in our room and just opened the door while we were there. I don’t recommend this place to anyone….Don’t waste your money.

Check in was quick an easy thanks to Annette At the front desk very nice , hotel was nice looking but had a few hiccups took my boys on a weekend trip to knots picked this spot cuz it was close to knots , room was nice but they won’t bring u extras like towels or whatever to your room u gotta go down an get it , no breakfast an pool could use some maintenance as it was a little cloudy on our 2nd day we discovered ants in our bathroom , price was not bad but just know this isn’t a 5 star hotel looks beautiful an close to stuff but don’t expect the very best .

It was an awesome experience, especially because there is a lot of cool attractions in the neighboring areas plus also lots of awesome restaurants as well. If you stay here, I definitely recommend going to medieval times next-door, greatest dinner ever!

3-years in a row, with each year a little better...Between muddy elevators from loud kids in the pool (when they're working) or pot luck if our floors Ice machine is even dispensing ice, we've actually learned to expect these things now. I actually like it now, I must to go 3-in-a-row. Convenient location, walk to dinner, breakfast & of course Knott's Berry Farm & a comfortable bed to come back to after a long day in the park. Will be back.

At the prices of the rooms, you should expect this is not a 5 star hotel and you'd be correct. Over all the staff was nice and the rooms were very big. Property is a bit run down but I think they are doing what they can. No fitness room or vending machines like they have on the website. Location is everything for this hotel. Walking distance to a lot of fun activities.

The hotel is very run-down. They need to update the pictures online and reflect what it looks like now. Walls are dirty there is spider webs everywhere, the furniture is chipped and stained. I guess you get what you pay for, but I’ve paid less for a nicer room cleaner hotel that included breakfast. Hotel didn’t even have a vending machine onsite.

Place is 50 years old and it shows, we got one of the "remodeled" units and it was paint on a pig, mold in shower, drapery falling down of window, buildng way outdated and gross. Checked the box for breakfast included, one of our major reasons to stay there, but upon check in informed the restaurant had been closed for years. Also refused to keep our 2 carryon bags at bell check while we went to Knotts across street for the day. Overall aweful experience, stay anywhere else but here.

The hotel experience was great! It is a little outdated but overall, it wasn’t terribly dirty. They don’t offer breakfast or vending machines for water, snacks, etc. however, there are a lot of dining options, several attractions and fun things to do in the area. Bed was comfortable, privacy was great. The water gets hot and the shower feels very good. Front desk was polite and extremely professional. To be honest, I slept like a baby and when I woke up I felt well rested. If you’re on a budget this is perfect. If you’re only staying one night, this is perfect. If you’re looking for something more fancier this may not be it for you

It was a lovely surprised the outdoor scenario, the palms. Pool area. Very beautiful. We got housekeeping services everyday. Beds made, clean towels. The rooms are VERY spacious. Even for a 2 queen bed room. Its big. Unfortunately, alot of it is out dated. The fridge, microwave, bathroom. It definitely needs alot of updates. There was no continental breakfast. The location is a great area.

Despite one of the lifts being out of order, the hotel was clean for the most part. The rooms and hotel itself was comfortable and had a nice design. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were fine. As stated on the website the restaurant in the courtyard was closed and other areas, however there were plenty of places to eat outside the hotel. The location was in a good area, just a short walk from Knotts Berry Farm. Apart from restaurants nearby there were also places to do your grocery shopping around the corner, such as Walmart, aswell as attractions next door, such as Medieval Times. Across the road opposite, there was a bus stop, where you could catch the Bus to the Disneyland Resort, and it was not too expensive.The price was good for a three star hotel and being in Buena Park, there were an abundance of shopping malls that were not too far to drive. Free parking was at the hotel. The main thing for me was the cleanliness of the room, which was fine. And the area itself had easy access to the highway and public transport added to the appeal. Though we had to to ask for certain things that were missing from the room, such as linen for the sofabed, as well as other supplements that needed replenishing on quite a few occasions, the staff were overall pleasant. Maybe one or two could do with a bit more experience with handling visitors, but I guess that comes with time. But would recommend to others as a convenient place to stay and relax.
