Nice hotel, overlooking a golf course. I enjoyed the pool and fitness center. Our room was very spacious--a nice reading chair or small table and chairs would have been nice--there was plenty of room. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good, much better than the typical hotel buffet and worth adding it to the reservation (more expensive if you don't).

Clean, modern, comfortable facility with meeting rooms, restaurant on premises, close-by parking, in-door pool and hot tub, excellent WiFi coverage and signal strength throughout the premises, streaming services on room TV, and in-room "extras" like a coffee machine and refrigerator were all well received. My wife was still recovering from knee replacement surgery, so a quick call to the property prior to arrival got us a ADA room with a wheelchair-compatible ADA room with a "no barrier" shower equipped with a folding seat.

After a day of traveling, it was great to check in with a personable desk clerk who outlined all I needed to know, a brief work out in the gym, some time in the hot tub and pool, and a great meal ( stuffed chicken breast). My room was clean well appointed, with a view of the golf course. A great place to stay.

The room was a little small and the bathroom door would block access to the toilet when it was fully opened. The fitness center and pool were very nice. The hot tub was probably the highlight.

The room was very clean and well stocked, the room thermostat kept the room one even temperature and the staff were great. My husband thought $5 for a cup of coffee was a bit much so he bought one else where. He was told his room didn't include breakfast which I thought was incorrect and the wait staff at night in the restaurant was very sparce with only 2 on Friday night and 1 on Sat.

The hotel itself is very nice. Clean rooms, the bathroom had a nice sink and mirror, though the shower was narrow. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. We asked for cutlery and toiletries and the staff were all happy to help. Parking is easy. There's a little shopping center two miles up the road but the area itself it's super nice and quiet. Seemed like the only other people staying were families or people staying for business, so very quiet neighbors.

We were with a wedding party. The hotel was very clean. The staff was super polite and helpful! The restaurant was good, the staff and management team in there were also very polite and understanding. The amenities at the hotel are great and we will be back again for a little weekend getaway! This was our second stay (same time last year) at this particular DoubleTree hotel. The hotel itself is great and we had high expectations after last year's stay. However, that was not the case this time. Our room was never cleaned after our first night's stay. The shower has large bottles affixed to the shower for Shower Gel/Body Wash (2 of them) and a Cleansing Shampoo. Both body wash bottles (mind you these are 16 ounce bottles) were empty enough that the pump couldn't get anything out of them and they don't come off the wall so you can't shake them. Also, the coffee machine was missing the part that holds the coffee/tea bags so although it would boil the water and put it into your cup(s), the pods/bag had to sit inside your cup and you had to spoon them out yourself. There was only one small bar of soap for the sink and the shower so you needed to make the best of it. None of these are "deal breakers", but I have come to expect better from DoubleTree/Hilton hotels and in particular this one.

I don't know how old this property is, but it looks brand new. The lobby is very inviting with a number of spaces for people to gather, with a gorgeous fireplace as its centerpiece. The decor colors are beautiful. Hallways are light & carpets look brand new. Our room was bright, clean and beds were very comfortable. Pool & Hot tub were super clean. Pool was a little chilly, but once you are in its good. Breakfast was very good also! overall, a great stay!

Hotel was very clean and front desk was great. The only problems were the toilet paper holder was loose so the paper roll would fall off. Also the AC in the room worked well but was very very noisy. I think something was off with it. I sleep deep but it might bother most people. I let the front desk know of these issues. I would still return here because it was clean and good location.

Spacious room. Beautiful view from room. Initial room had a toilet leak and they quickly moved our room and gave us complimentary breakfast at the restaurant. Room was clean and updated. Pool and hot tub was nice! Staff helpful and friendly.

Since I was staying 2 nights with my co-worker, I carefully selected & paid for the largest room (480 SF per website) with a bathtub and 2 queens or a king with a queen pull out sofa, however I was given a very small room with no bathtub, one bed and no couch at all, much less a pull out. I very nicely, I really hate to complain, called the front desk and had to explain all of that and they said they will move my room- they never moved my room and I even asked again 3 hours later to no avail bc the desk phone is never answered, even when I tried calling prior to arriving. Also, they were not busy & had plenty of vacancies that matched my original choic according to the app & website.

Booked a room with 2 queen beds since I’m traveling with my wife and daughter, as specified during booking. Pre paid as well in full. Arrived at the hotel, checked in, got to our room where we found it was just a single king bed. Assumed positively that there was just a mistake so headed back down to adjust. When speaking with front desk about having the incorrect room, the same staff member that checked us informed me “we over booked and sold out” yet this was not shared at any point til now. Feel that such information should have been communicated when originally checking in. Communicated how our family needs two beds and was displeased with lack of communication and was open minded for solutions. Was offered a different but bigger single king room, two separate rooms on opposite sides of the floor (my daughter is 6), and lastly more blankets so she could sleep on the floor. No true apology or validation of inconvenience. Frequent front royal area every other month and always book here, impacted to not moving forward. Room quality is great, pool area is great, no other issues.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The only issue was we were placed in an adjoining room with a couple that decided to have a party. Calling the front desk did not make a difference in the noise level. Also, the lights in the room, did not have real shades so the lightbulbs were very bright making us unable to turn on the lights.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Shenandoah National Park. It was north of the park about 5-10 minutes. There are plenty of accommodations close by, but you do need to drive into town if you want local food or coffee. We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness, and on site amenities.

Nice room and hotel. Very convenient for the nearby national park. Breakfast is extra though, and this caused some confusion since I had booked on a date with breakfast included. Breakfast does not seem to be included as standard in this hotel.

Loved the hotel. Friendly staff, very clean, great views of the golf course! The restaurant attached to the hotel was not good. Service was good but the food was mediocre at best and overpriced. Lots of better options a short distance away.

Restaurant was closed for a private HOA party so we had to go out. This was not made known to us until we had friends come and meet us at the venue. Not a big deal but they should have kept a part of the restaurant open for hotel guests.

Usually we love this property. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant had been closed after I made our reservations specifically asking if it was open they said yes. It closed the week before we arrived. The hot tub did not work. Checked in on Wednesday had to ask for room cleaning on Saturday.
