Doors had cracks you could see through the lock outside. The floor was buckling between the bedroom and the bathroom and the door was made of plywood while all the others were real room seven

We had a very good stay over the weekend. The room was extremely clean and smelled fresh, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The property was well maintained, with plenty of convenient parking. There’s also a great restaurant right next door that was perfect for breakfast and lunch. A couple of minor downsides: the shower drain was very slow, which caused water to pool on the shower floor. Also, the exterior lights outside our room stayed on all night and were quite bright, letting more light into the room than we would have preferred while sleeping. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay, and we would stay here again.

I booked this property because their primary photo on Google Maps is a picture of a historic Newport, RI mansion. In reality, this property is a standard, multi-level motel located across the bay in North Kingstown—miles away from Newport. Using a photo of a luxury mansion to represent a basic motel is completely deceptive. When I realized the massive difference between the listing photo and reality and tried to cancel, management flatly refused a full refund. They only allowed a 50% cancellation refund, keeping my money for a room I never would have booked if they had been honest with their photos. Absolutely predatory business practices. Do not book here unless you want to be misled and trapped by their cancellation policy.

Charming motel that is clean and out of the mainstream of traffic. As an aside there is a lovely small restaurant right next door to this motel.
