Wow. A must stay! There’s a food truck park across from the Sapphire and tons of other bars and restaurants in walking distance. This hotel is so unique and really feels like traveling back in time. Comfy & clean rooms, spacious bathroom, in a safe area! There’s also a grass lot in the middle of the property with chairs & a grill!

The motel feel is definitely there, and in a good way! We parked and didn’t need our car again until we left the next morning, because we walked to the downtown area and found many places to eat. It’s in a very safe location, and has a middle grassy area for children to play, or adults to hang out and visit. Would easily stay here again and recommend to others!

Loved our stay at this amazing retro hotel! Great outdoor spaces to relax or to enjoy a bbq. Kitchen to use next to the reception area. Conveniently located and the staff are all exceptional! Super fun retro vibe. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and quiet. The location was convenient, quick and easy to get downtown restaurants or to nearby breweries. They served good morning coffee in the office. Our only complaint is that the door to our didn't always work. We're thinking that it was due to the cold. We came back to our room after dinner and the door was ajar. When inside the room you could use the deadbolt to keep the door closed.

Great hotel (motel) for the value! I rarely stay at motels but this one was nice with its retro style and charm. I would have given all 5 stars but the bed was not the most comfortable (seemed like an older, cheap, broken down mattress), and it could have been a little cleaner (dingey on the baseboards, carpet felt “sticky,” and there was some debris particles on the benches at the foot of the beds). But really, it was t horrible and I felt it was clean enough to sleep there. Also, the noise level in front of the room was a bit as that’s where all the parking is and people locking there cars with the horn or beeping woke me up frequently. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

Room was very clean, the staff was very kind the only thing that was wrong with our room was the toilet was loose, not the seat but the whole toilet itself. Other than that it was excellent. Would stay there again!

The motel is close enough to walk to Main St. if you are in good physical condition. Parking on and around Main St. is limited and restrictive. The motel room had good space and was very clean. The king bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the window A/C was inefficient and in need of repair or replacement. The unit made very loud intermittent noises that sounded like someone attempting to enter the door.

The Sapphire has a lot of cute and thoughtful details and amenities, which make it unique! The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, it is not an a cute location,, like downtown. Although you can walk 5-10 minutes to get downtown.. it also has poor sound insulation between rooms

Everything was just perfect. One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. Spacious, comfortable, smells so good, love the decor, blackout shades, double sinks were great, shower was fabulous and what a special treat the white noise machine!! If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely be staying here. I don’t want to leave. 😍

Normally I’m a Marriott only kind of gal, but I love this great little restored motor inn. Spot on in their attention to detail to mid-century appointments. Beds are super comfortable and rooms are spacious. Only issue for us was the slow/low wifi in our room. Needed to turn it off and use data on our phones most of the time. This is my second stay here, and I will definitely stay again!

Amazing! We were slightly concerned when we first drove up since as the outside had old motel vibes but were pleasantly surprised upon entry to our room. Place was clean, quiet, and the inside was modernized. Our flight was delayed so our check-in was delayed past their closure time. They called me to check up on my arrival time and provided easy after hours check-in instruction. Staff was friendly and my fiance really appreciated the white noise machine since his stopped working upon our arrival. 10 out of 10 would stay here again.

I loved the retro look and aesthetics of the motel. It was very clean and comfortable. The front office was terrible. The girl behind the desk was new and a man in a back office could not have been more rude.We asked him about a steak house that was two blocks away and he acted like we were bothering him and said “I’ve lived here my whole life and never heard of it!” Customer service is bad.

My stay was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. However, in the morning, I left to grab some breakfast and when I returned, my room was open the sheets/towels removed and they were cleaning out the room. I got back at 10:30am and check out wasn't until 11am. Pretty disappointing service and lack of privacy

Very fantastically unique motel. Close to MSU and downtown Bozeman. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We stayed one night in a room and woke the next morning to a screaming baby- they moved us down to a similar room and we enjoyed the rest of our stay without hearing the baby! Spacious rooms and great detail. Loved how it was arranged and decorated. Closet was big with shareable space. They provide a steamer to straighten out those wrinkles too! Loved the game room and the drinks that were provided. We were able to celebrate our college student’s birthday there and it felt like a private space! We played games and cut the cake- it felt like we had gone back in time! Food trucks park right across the street for walk to meals options.

It is a good hotel! Don't let the word MOTEL fools you. Had a great stay with family. Clean, convenient, car is parked right in front to load and unload my luggage. The front desk Donna was wonderful, friendly and helpful.

The Sapphire motel is a gem. It is not the W nor is it trying to be—their beds are more comfortable. The Sapphire is located right off of 7th and walking distance to Main Street in BZN. A great thrift store, food trucks, and the Cat paw are right across the street. Check-in is seamless, reserved parking is available right in front of your room, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I unintentionally left behind belongings in my room and they promptly mailed them back to my home address.

I'm a Livingston local who commutes to Bozeman for my government work, and when I have to stay overnight in town for whatever reason, this is my favorite place. I love the midcentury charm, the staff has always been friendly, and the rooms comfortable - all while being relatively affordable (that is, between tourist seasons, during which I would avoid staying anywhere as a local). I can't overemphasize the good value for the sweet vintage vibes. Knowing what I know, it would be neglectful of me to not mention that the street Sapphire is located on is not especially well-regarded. However, it is far enough from the epicenter of problems on 7th and I have not once had a problem here. When dangerous driving weather rolls through, I will always check here first for availability!

This place is amazing. It’s a retro motel in a central location in Bozeman. It’s clean, rooms are easily accessible, and the front desk staff is really nice. We have stayed here a couple of times and will continue to do so.

Great gem of a place to stay. Staff were amazing - friendly and helpful. The rooms and lobby were super clean and the coffee that was available was top notch. You also couldn’t beat the location or the cute way it was decorated from start to finish. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in town.

We loved it here. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself had a warm, mid-century modern vibe and the common areas and room was very neat and clean. Breakfast was not offered, but they had a small dining room set up with coffee, tea, cider, and hot chocolate and lots of games you can check out and a library. There were several places you could eat nearby and the main downtown area was just a mile or so away. There is parking right outside your door and luggage storage.

This is my 2nd stay at the Sapphire Motel. The decor takes me back to my grandparents house in the 1970s. The staff are kind and helpful and there's a small kitchenette for tea, coffee and cider. The rooms have a similar mid-century feel, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are large and food trucks are conveniently across the street. The only thing that's missing is a small breakfast bar with cinnamon toast and fruit. That being said, one would be missing out if they didn't do their breakfast down the block at The Farmers Daughter cafe.
