Hi, just wanted to share some feedback about my stay. The property had a lot of noise early in the morning, ( construction) which made it hard to rest after a late check-in. Also, there was no snacks or beverages available, and there were too many stairs to get to the room, which was a bit inconvenient. Thank you for your attention.

Los puntos buenos: El hotel esta muy bien localizado y la casa es una gran construcción. Sin embargo esta en obra, hay mucho polvo, los pisos estan sucios. La primera noche aunque pague habitacion superior, me dieron una estándar, un poco oscura y pequeña. La habitación tenía un olor terrible a pegante de tubería.. tuvimos que mantener la puerta del baño cerrada, prender el aire y abrir la ventana para poder dormir. La lámpara de la habitación estaba rota, el mueble de closet roto. Hay televisor pero no servicio de televisión. No hay teléfono en la habitación por lo que tienes que ir hasta la recepción si necesitas algo. Para nuestra segunda visita tuvimos la habitación por la que habíamos pagado y dormimos bien. Para reforzar el tema de aseo y mantenimiento, asi como la ropa de cama ( no hay protector de colchon y las sabanas son degadas y con motas).. que pesar que un lugar tan bonito tenga tantas fallas en relación con el valor pagado. En cuanto al personal solo destaca el recepcionista nocturno, muy amable y atento

Lindo lugar para hospedarse, lejos del ruido. Sin embargo, hay muchísimas gradas y eso dificulta subir y bajar maletas. También, no es accesible para personas con discapacidad

Definitely was not the best experience here. Only 2 of the staff were friendly and helpful, the rest were not as nice and others were pretty rude. Like the rest of the reviews, the restroom had a very bad smell, on the TV you can only watch Netflix, no channels on regular TV. Parking was not the best (especially if you had a truck). There’s some stairs you had to walk in order to get to your room. There is NO ROOM SERVICE! Also, I disliked a lot that to enter the property, you had to knock on the door every time to get in, which obviously annoyed the staff that were in the front desk. I honestly don’t recommend staying here. Next time I’ll just save more money and stay somewhere like in Zona Viva or bigger hotels.

The property was hard to locate. If you exit property and staff isnt on duty theres no way to enter location. We had to switch rooms due to a musty mold smell. Our next room had a smelly shower curtain. Pillows were old and flat and tv in room didnt work proper. If you have heavy luggage this is not the best scenario. Several flights of stairs with no elevator and a walk. There are no close by restaurants.

The room was newer and a good size. The sheets had holes in them and were worn out. Unacceptable at any price point. I twice had to ask for the hot water to be fixed. The internet was horrible and very slow.

There was a fine grit on the floor of the room like it had not been cleaned recently. The shower did not drain. I had to ask for the hot water to be turned on from some place outside of the room. The sheets were dirty (blood stains). The mattress was sloped in the center, almost as steep as a hospital bed. I had a balcony that was accessible to anyone in hotel, which meant I had to keep the balcony door locked & the curtain closed. My room was on the third level down and there was no elevator. There was a loud humming noise over my head the entire time I was there; I slept poorly or not at all.

We only stay for one night to be close to the airport. The place seems to be "remodeling", but the bathroom I had was really nasty, it has mold everywhere, there is not ventilation, and the shower had corrosion and mold. The bedroom ceiling had mold too and the smell was strong bad. There are not elevators and from the 1st floor to the 4th floor you have to use the stairs, and it is long and hard.

Para el precio que pague las instalaciones estaban muy bien, pero algo inaceptable es que las sábanas de las camas estén sucias, se notaba que ya varios días no las lavaban porque tenían olor a sudor, el baño sucio, tanto la regadera como el lavamanos, como repito nos tocó taparnos con sábanas sucias(olor a sudor), las almohadas no tenían sobre fundas y olían a sudor, lastimosamente esto me dejó muy mala experiencia

Bed sheets dirty, pillow covers dirty with holes, the bathroom super dirty and smells like sewage. Overall the whole room was dirty.

First and foremost the property address given on Expedia is NOT the correct address. That caused a lot of confusion and problems for our diver trying to get us there after dark to check in. The building did not even have a lighted sign when we finally found this non descriptive building in an area of what looks like warehouses. There was a QR code and phone number in the room for the restaurant that neither worked. The WiFi password was not given or in tbe room and I had to go back to the front desk to ask for it. We never did eat at the restaurant. Housekeeping comes around in the morning to clean the vacated rooms. They played music and sang quite loudly as they worked and we tried to sleep. The bathroom shower only had a flimsy shower curtain that didn’t keep water in the shower, so the floor ended up soaking wet. No floor towels, no hand towels, only two rather thin towels for two people to dry off. The towels never dried and housekeeping never serviced the room during out 2 night stay. I would likely never stay there again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone else to stay there.

Terrible experiencia, habitacion vieja sin mantenimiento, con mucha humedad, olor horrible, con moho en el techo. un baño viejo, animales en la habitacion, sin ventilacion solo una pequeña ventana. LAS FOTOGRAFIAS MIENTEN.

There was BLACK MOLD in the bathroom. I approached the receptionist, made aware of this and that i woild need a different room. He casually said they can provide a fan ! I told him that black mold is toxic and hazardous to the lungs. He then offered a refund. I said I still need a place to stay. He said everything was booked. I said that i arrived with certain expectations and that he would need to provide a better option. He then proceeded to phone someone (I'm guessing management) and then said they could accommodate me at Villas Sicilia which he said is their sister hotel, a 16 minute walk from Villas Santander. I had three pieces of luggage to haul with me. He offered no transportation to get there and i had to call an Uber. Upon arriving to Villas Sicila, it was closer to midnight. I was let into my new room and found small spores of black mold in the bathroom and the shower curtain had RED build up on the bottom of it which means bacteria growth. Trying to reach ANYONE through this app was impossible. I kept getting AI Bots and gave up as it was past midnight and i was exhausted. Hotels.com needs to make this right as no one should have to experience a hotel stay at the cost of their health and well being. And how convenient for this app to have the photo upload feature not working as I write this to avoid showing you what I saw.

Es limpia, un poco caliente pero perfecta para pasar la noche

Im actually requesting a refund. Price give to me at time of reservation was not honered. They charged more because I used credit card. I made reservations with credit at that time nobody told me I would pay more if I used credit car. Second, room had no A/C. It was very hot and ill they had was a fan. Third, no soap in soap container. They had a used bar of soap (see pictures). Glass on window was cracked. Bad costumer service

Great stay staff was nice The only one thing is it’s not noise proof. You do hear everything. But other than that great place will go again !!!

La recepcionista indiferente, sin deseos de atender. Tenía a la par a una persona que parecía y hablaba como extranjero, con mal humor atendiendo de forma pesada

Nunca responden el teléfono por error yo hice doble reservación y me comunique con expedia y me dijeron que se tenían que comunicar con el hotel y que hotel me tenia que retornar el dinero de una reservación nunca responden el teléfono

Terrible experience. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances. The most alarming issue is the entrance to the “hotel.” There is no reception or lobby. Access is through a garage door, which stays closed during the day. To get in, you have to call a phone number and wait for someone to open it. This is a serious security concern. When I checked in, I had to wait on the street for about 10 minutes with my luggage before someone finally opened the door. The staff was rude from the moment I arrived. There is absolutely no customer service. The facilities are in awful condition: there was no running water in the bathroom, and the toilet didn’t work. On top of that, the place is extremely noisy, and getting any rest is nearly impossible. If you're looking for peace, safety, or even basic respect, this is not the place for you. Avoid this place. Guatemala has far better options for the same price or less.

Definitely was not the best experience here. Only 2 of the staff were friendly and helpful, the rest were not as nice and others were pretty rude. Like the rest of the reviews, the restroom had a very bad smell, on the TV you can only watch Netflix, no channels on regular TV. Parking was not the best (especially if you had a truck). There’s some stairs you had to walk in order to get to your room. There is NO ROOM SERVICE! Also, I disliked a lot that to enter the property, you had to knock on the door every time to get in, which obviously annoyed the staff that were in the front desk. I honestly don’t recommend staying here. Next time I’ll just save more money and stay somewhere like in Zona Viva or bigger hotels.

The hotel is dismal and rooms are dark with no view. The staff in the restaurant were very nice but the food and menu choices were limited. There are no other restaurants in walking distance except for a small mercado. Would not recommend this hotel.

Me gusto su ambiente tranquilo, perfecto para descansar bien, es accesible a los centros comerciales.

This is going to be my stay in Gaute city anytime I come. It is very central, I love the layout of the villas. There is a restaurant with lovely staff if you just want to stay in and above all it is nice and quiet. I definitely recommend here if you are overnighting or stay a few days in the city.😁

Las instalaciones me sorprendieron, bastante bonito y limpio el lugar, lo único fue que tienen restaurante y te mencionan servicio a la habitación, pero cuando les escribí para ordenar desayuno no me contestaron, me dejaron ignorado, y tienen dispensador de champú pero no te agregan jabón, tienes que comprarlo tú mismo, ojalá mejoren esos aspectos, por todo lo demás muy bonito lugar 👀
