Radisson Hotel St Paul Downtown

They are going to charge you 15.00 a night for parking. This will not show in the price and they will likely not tell you about it at check in or out so just be aware.

We wanted to eat at Peddlers but no staff showed up until after 3pm Saturday to open the restaurant. We also took the shuttle to the Excel Energy Center, we missed the first shuttle and it took over an hour for the driver to retun to pick up the rest of us

If you want an excellent night of sleep, this is a fantastic place to stay at. 20 min walk to the Excel Center, but thry have a FREE SHUTTLE to & from that departs every 1/2 an hour. Free breakfast . Free wifi. Free pool. Free shuttle. Clean and super comfortable bed and piillows. Theres a Pub to eat at up till 10pm right inside the hotel as well. Parking as of July 25, 2025 is only $15. And its well lit as well as the building. Highly recommend.

Customer service was very poor. Arrived to check in around 8 in the evening only to wait to be checked in. No one was at the front desk. Room was ok but could be cleaned better. Found stains on a few wash clothes. Left around noon for an outing and returned late in the evening to find room door opened and unlocked.. Freaked out and checked through every inch of belongings in hopes nothing was missing or stolen. When I told the front desk staff about this the response was " Ok". Another person was waiting at the front desk to check in for over 30 mins and kept looking around to find a staff member. I felt so bad for them so I went to my room to call the front desk just to help them out and get someone at the front to check them in. Hot tub was inoperable most of my stay. Not a ton of restaurants within walking distance so that was also a bit inconvenient. Not the best location if you're looking for a bit of nightlife or just variety of food options. If you're simply in town for a business trip or really prefer a very quiet and isolated atmosphere then this may be a good fit. Don't be shocked if you don't get ideal customer service though.

The welcome staff was excellent! Unfortunately the restaurant food was terrible. Food we ordered was spoiled and we did not feel good after we ate. When we went ro bed we found a bug crawling under the covers.

Excellent friendly staff. Rooms a little smaller but big enough for two people. Beds super comfy. Close to Fitzgerald Theater and downtown. Nice breakfast buffet. Secure parking onsite for additional $15 per nite but worth it. Pool was nice as well. We’d stay here again!

All of the above, plus the shuttle to and from the Wild game was excellent. What a great service that you provided

The hot tub is one of the reasons we wanted to stay here and we were not notified upon check-in that it wasn't working. The AC was inaccurate and did not work. The handle for our bathroom door fell off. The ice machine was also out of order. The staff was very nice and it seemed clean. The breakfast was very good. It just seemed like a lot of the major amenities needed upgrading.

Went for a hockey game and the hotel provided a free shuttle to and from the arena! Super easy and convenient.

Great hotel and location. Free shuttle from hotel to excel centre. Clean rooms. Great fitness centre. Food was good and fairly cheap. Definitely recommend

Condition of facility was very pleasing up until I noticed the bedding was stained throughout both queen beds. Comforter and sheets. No way they were changed

The beds were super comfy and the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and was able to check us in early. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great for a free food option.

Our room smelled intensely like cigarette smoke upon arrival. My 9 year old son is Asthmatic so this is a big deal for us more than most. When telling the front desk this, the staff got the attention of what I can only assume was the head of housekeeping. Standing in the lobby with a pack of cigarettes in her hand, she offered to grab room spray as a resolution and told me to open the window, but then never returned back to the lobby...the front desk staff gave me her bottle eventually instead. No apologies, no empathy, no offer of a room change. The window had no screen on it, and the window was near an outdoor flood light so we had gnats in the room, but it was unbearable without the window open. The beds were horribly lumpy and uncomfortable as well, which made our sleeping situation even less desirable. Friday morning while leaving the hotel we were hit with having to walk through cigarette smoke again while leaving the hotel doors, only to realize it was the same housekeeping worker and the chef of the hotel enjoying a cigarette immediately outside of the door west of the front desk (where our car was parked) only a few steps to the left. We have been home two days and my son is still needing nebulizer treatments in the middle of the night to breathe hence the 3a review. I will never stay again where my sons health is jeopardized and I would suggest to others to stay far away also. I am very saddened at the lack of action of staff. Room temp was 75+ the entire time. Even with window open. Bathroom had hair in sink and tub. Hole in wall by phone. Stained linens on bed.

Lovely experience at this property. The hot tub was actually hot. The room was nice and beds were comfy. Internet service was quite slow which made working a little harder.

It is a dated property. The bathrooms are small and very little counter space to prepare.

Nice room. Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Appreciated the shuttle service to the arena. The downside was the traffic outside is really loud and kept us up.

Air conditioning did not work the entire stay. Room was at 85 degrees and very uncomfortable. No screen on window to be able to open it.

The air conditioning wouldnt get cooler then 73 deg. No pen or paper in room, or menu for restaurant downstairs. The staff were all very friendly, and the view of the Cathedral from my room was amazing!

It was cool to have the Catherdral as our view! We walked to the Xcel Energy Center for a concert, it was a decent walk. Going back to the hotel from the Xcel Energy Center, stick to the main roads if walking. Be prepared to walk up hill a bit. Otherwise it was beautiful seeing the city at night. The Capital all lit up. I couldn’t put excellent for the room because when we got there our toilet seat was practically falling off!!! We were barely in the room so that was at least good, but still. Not cool! I told them about it at check out and he said he would tell maintenance. Otherwise everything else was good. Staff is very nice and helpful if/when needed.

The Radisson Hotel St Paul Downtown was a wonderful surprise. Every employee was so friendly and so helpful. The restaurant/breakfast staff were the best I have ever encountered at a hotel. They went above and beyond. So friendly and helpful. Location was great and it was very quiet. I would recommend this hotel 10 out of 10 times.

I am extremely unhappy with my stay. The man working the desk the majority of my stay was incompetent and made multiple mistakes. First, he told me my room was not ready (which was fine because I knew I was early); however when I then told him I would be checking in late he suddenly wanted me to check in. He then informed me after running my card 3 times that my card was not working. I called the card's customer service and was informed no charged was even attempted. I returned to try again because I was told my room would be given away if I didn't check in before going to my event. My card immediately worked and the man laughed, saying he needed to reboot the system. I was given my room keys and told I couldn't go to the room because it was being cleaned. When I returned late that night and went to my room, there were guests in it! When I went back down, a different staff told me I had never been checked in. Following this ordeal, over the next 2 days I had to get a new room key more than once per day because mine would stop working. Also, the hotel ran a shuttle and the driver was very rude, made inappropriate jokes and overall was not professional.

Best hotel we've stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and supplied with essentials like towels and even free bottles of water. Breakfast was great, with hot eggs and sausages and plenty of room to sit and eat. We plan to return there whenever we're in the vicinity.

Perfect proximity for what I needed. I had to wait 20 min to check in on Thursday which was annoying but everything else was great.

The property is super clean and located in a safe and walkable location to the Xcel Center. All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic. Vivian, Alexander, the lady working the front desk on Friday night during our check in and the gentleman whom we checked out with on Sunday morning.

The rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There is a free shuttle services to and from events at the Excel Center. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Great place to stay!!

First off my room was prepaid but the attendant slid my debit card for $450.11. I didn’t notice until I went to my room and checked my account. He said he just need a card on file. So when Inwent down and showed where my room was already paid etc…. He went and allegedly talked to the assistant manager and she will fix it. Well long story short everyone I talked to about this situation was rude as if it was my fault and as if I didn’t have a right to be mad. First off my husband came on the trip last minute. Had it not been for him I would’ve have had one meal per day ( the free breakfast) because they had every dime of my money on hold. Second I am an oxygen patient on oxygen 24/7 they had no consideration. The hold had to fall off through my bank because evidently I upset management by telling them it’s their fault and demanding my money! The manager didn’t even address this issue until I was at check out. He promised me points for a free room which he never deposited. I call corporate and they gave me some compensation which I feel isn’t enough but once I use it I may never stay with that brand of hotel. One Apple can spoil the bunch. Also my first night there I slept in a room without air. Spoke with the night attendant she said oh put it on 65 it will work duh!!!! No maintenance or new room or nothing mind you I am an oxygen patient 24/7. The next morning went and complained again and was moved into a room a few floors down next to the air conditioning units outside from

Twice housekeeping came into our room. The first time she seemed surprised to see us and quickly shut the door and took off before we got an answer as to what she was doing. Second time it was only 1020 am and they came in telling us we were to have been checked out at 1000 am and that they needed to get our room clean. Shady practices for the price we paid for the room. No safe in the room means that there is nothing keeping these busy bodies from stealing from guests.

Friendly attentive staff. The breakfast buffet was staffed by an amazing server who went out of her way to help. Front desk staff was helpful and housekeeping and maintenance were very polite.

I enjoyed my Stay and the Hotel Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. My only issue was no housekeeping touched my room my entire stay. I had to take my own trash out, go to desk for new towels. Not sure why they never came by.

Good location, clean, comfy. If you don't mind walking a little, you can walk to the capitol and cathedral.

Property is not located within amenities. If you’re up for a walk, there are great dining and typical attractions around a capital. Airport is a short drive. Property is near freeway but is relatively quiet.

The property is right off the highway but along the bus line. So very easy access to the state fair along the bus line. It was quiet and safe. Thank you.

Odd location. Walking to downtown St. Paul was problematic. Big downhill. But a hike coming back up. Neighborhood looks deserted. Huge empty parking lot. We used their shuttle.

Went for a concert. Small van to venue. Took too long to get picked up. Food at pub was terrible. Not inexpensive.

When calling to verify hotel reservations it rang for a long time. I thought maybe folding towels so I gave them time. Person that answered was snappy and rude. I don’t stay at hotels a lot and wanted to verify before arriving. Big bathrooms were dirty. Staff at breakfast were super nice. Bartender staff also nice.

I was overcharged for my stay. The quote I was given during the initial booking was not honored, nor was it communicated. My credit card was just charged. "Hot" breakfast was not hot and could be described as continental at best. And the facilities were ok, not great. 7
