Great hotel if heading to CHS field. Walkable to many things but also right next to union station if you are using any kind of public transportation to head around Minneapolis or the Mall of America. Pool is a little small and shallow but everything else inside the hotel was great. Nice breakfast selection. Comfy bed and lots of room for storage in the room.

This place is a the best place i have stayed in a long time! The security for this building is amazing. I like the fact you use your key for the pool, laundry room. The breakfast was a very good selection as well. The room itself was a WIN! The atmosphere is very clean,calm and welcoming. The sfaff was all very nice, helpful and was happy to answer any questions. They do offer valet, for a fee but we parked in the garage across the street for only 4$ for the night. Definitely will be booking here again!!

Everything about our stay was fine with the exception of valet parking. On multiple occasions there was no one there to assist in dropping off or picking up our car. On one occasion we waited 15 minutes for the valet to show up so we could leave him our keys. The next day we text the number to let them know we would like our car. We got a text back shortly after saying our car was ready. When we went to the valet our car was not there and once again there was no attendant. We waited for ten minutes and no one came. I finally went inside to ask the front desk and they told me they have no idea about valet services and they are handled by another company. I said, so what are we supposed to do? You sent a message saying our car was here and it’s not. The front desk guy just kind of stared at me and said, “I can try to call him I guess?” It was about another 5 minutes before anyone showed up. Each day we were there it was a poor experience with valet. I don’t feel like it was any fault of the poor guys working valet, each time there was only one person and he seemed like he was running around like crazy. It was just a very poor system and definitely understaffed.

The rooms were generously sized and very comfortable. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, and the valet situation for our overnight parking was great. We were sad to only stay one night because it was such a great experience

On the plus side, spacious rooms and very convenient location. Breakfast was good, but limited. Room view was terrible considering proximity to the river. All I could see was other hotel walls. Bar / restaurant is simply too small and too limited in terms of offerings. It was disappointing to not be able to get anything after 10pm. My arrival was delayed on my first day, meaning I couldn’t get food or drink right after I checked in. Website incorrectly indicated bar would be open until midnight.

The Downtown Hyatt in St. Paul is in the old post office and custom house building. The room we had was enormous with approximately 20 foot high ceilings. The room was very comfortable, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was excellent. They offer a free hot breakfast, which was very good. There is a bar with a limited menu, and there is valet parking. All in all my friend and I were very pleased and we would stay there again.

Overall hotel was nice. Parking was an absolute nightmare, they only offer valet parking but don’t have enough parking in front of the building to actually utilize it. We had to park across the street at the union depot. I thought our room was nice and clean until I saw copious amounts of bodily fluids all over the sheer curtain covering our window.

The staff get 5 stars for warmth, friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel room gets 5 stars for spaciousness. The hotel amenities get a 3- bar closes on Sundays so you can’t order food at all. Housekeeping gets a 1. I requested service three times during our one week stay and they did not vacuum once. There were even old candies (skittles that we didnt bring there), hair and some crumbs every time we came back. On top of that, on the second day, housekeeping took my daughter’s Edikted bag that had two tank tops in it (with tags) and no one seems to know what happened to it. And this was after giving a $20 tip.

The property itself was very unique because it used to be an old post office or old office bldg. The rooms were a lot larger than expected and the general architecture of the bldg and rooms was very nice. The only issue I found was a brown coffee stain on the bed comforter that I didn't notice until the morning I checked out. I would still stay here again.

Check in staff seemed a bit frazzled and not too friendly or informative. Room had stains on couch, bed sounded broken and creaked every time you moved. Came down for breakfast aroud 9am and almost everything was gone. No coffee. No bagels. There was a choice of potatoes, bread, shredded cheese, salsa, yogurt, and cereal.

This downtown hotel is spotless and feels really high end. It is ridiculously spacious and our double queen with sofa bed room was a great size for our family of four. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and the coffee nice and strong. The hotel is very secure and the parking garage across the street is very convenient and reasonable. I would stay here again for sure.

Bathroom has previous occupants hair in shower drain and bathroom floor. Bathroom sink drain was clogged. Bedsheets only fit around the pillow top of the mattress. Housekeeping walked into room without knocking and came back a second time when I sent them off the first time. Was on the 5th floor of the hotel and the view is that of a parapet wall. Hotel is in a remote area which is pretty desolate at night and there are no security cameras outside at the entrance to the property. Breakfast is just ok but the eggs are a fail. Pizza at the bar is pretty good though.

Yes, the room was spotless, (loved the super high ceiling). Staff was very helpfull and friendly and gave good suggestions for eating establishments. I was taking an amtrack train earlry in the morning so the station being directly across the street was perfect. If needed I'll stay here again in the future.

Loved the big rooms with the high ceiling. Two sinks in the bathroom was nice to have . A microwave in the room would have been good. Didn’t like having to go all the way down to the lobby to use one . The pool area was small. Definitely not a place to take kids to swim

Yes...the room was in good condition and the staff was friendly. Saturday we had no hot water and had to take cold showers. Not ideal for cold weather. Would have liked to have had access to water for water bottles. Breakfast was less than ideal. Eggs were a bit farther away from real eggs than I care for. Would have liked an option other than Canadian bacon. Sausage and/or bacon is preferred. Couldn't watch the tv unless in bed. Would have liked to have had a tv in the sitting area also. The doors were too loud closing. I heard every door close on the floor and couldn't close mine quietly though I tried.

However the curtains did not fully block out the light and the view from our top floor room was a 6 foot wall preventing a view of the city. Bunch of road construction getting to the property from the South. Once we got close, it was easy to get to but not a lot of drop off space out front. There is no free parking available so plan on adding $30-$40 to your stay if you’re comparing a stay that has free parking. The room was typical, but the AC fan was broken and provided a consistent “white noise” for us to sleep to. The temperature of the room in early Fall was fine, thank goodness. The bathroom was supplied but a shower cap would have been a nice cheap “extra.” The staff was friendly enough… but not much eye contact or smiles so it didn’t feel super welcoming.

Huge room with high ceilings, felt very spacious and we had all we needed. Stuffy at night bc we couldn’t get the air to go below 72, but they gave us a box fan to use. All in all, would stay again!

Everything about our stay was fine with the exception of valet parking. On multiple occasions there was no one there to assist in dropping off or picking up our car. On one occasion we waited 15 minutes for the valet to show up so we could leave him our keys. The next day we text the number to let them know we would like our car. We got a text back shortly after saying our car was ready. When we went to the valet our car was not there and once again there was no attendant. We waited for ten minutes and no one came. I finally went inside to ask the front desk and they told me they have no idea about valet services and they are handled by another company. I said, so what are we supposed to do? You sent a message saying our car was here and it’s not. The front desk guy just kind of stared at me and said, “I can try to call him I guess?” It was about another 5 minutes before anyone showed up. Each day we were there it was a poor experience with valet. I don’t feel like it was any fault of the poor guys working valet, each time there was only one person and he seemed like he was running around like crazy. It was just a very poor system and definitely understaffed.

Staff was not customer service friendly, seemed like everytime I had a question I was bothering them. Ask for extra towels and request did not happen, I had to ask housekeeping when I saw them for the towels. Parking was not explained properly, stairway was closed on 9pm at night and I had to walk all the way around and felt very unsafe. I have been at the Drury many times this was the first and last time year. Not warm and fuzzy feeling at all. Breakfast comparison to Drury Hotel not as good either.

First time staying here. The room was very nice and I loved the tall ceiling above the bed area and the floor to ceiling windows. The automatic drapes were a nice touch and the bathroom, especially the shower, was really nice. Probably the cleanest shower and best functioning shower in a hotel I have been in, in a long time. I really liked the property. Only wish it was more accessible and wasn't connected to the condo area. You can get some weird people outside and then that try to get inside.

I would definitely stay here again. I chose this hotel partly because it’s easy walking distance to The Palace. The room was decently sized, the bed was very comfortable and we slept great, loved the high ceilings and giant windows. It was also pretty quiet. I did not have the breakfast they offered but my friends did and said it was good.

Convince to Union Station (Christmas Market) and walkable to Xcel for hockey. Instead of valet parking, I self parked directly across the street for $16 per day. The front desk staff was completely lackluster. The property was clean and the included breakfast was good. My room was clean, however (533) caused overactive sneezing which was resolved shortly after stepping outside. Maybe change the air filters more often, not sure, but something was causing nasal irritation. (I don’t suffer from allergies)

The room and hotel was beautiful and spacious. Very nicely decorated, modern, and clean. The high ceilings made the room looked even larger. Our window was blocked by a wall and we didn’t have a view so that was sad. The breakfast was poor, little options and no meat selection. Please do better on breakfast, it was disappointing.

Came down for breakfast aroud 9am and almost everything was gone. No coffee. No bagels. There was a choice of potatoes, bread, shredded cheese, salsa, yogurt, and cereal.
