First, the front-of-house staff are great, especially the bus driver. Everyone I interacted with was engaging, friendly, and very helpful. The design of the hotel is also excellent, and the location is very convenient, within walking distance of many things. I hate to say anything negative because the staff were so good, but there were a few issues during my stay. The springs in my first bed were worn and extremely uncomfortable, so the hotel kindly moved me to another room. The bed in the second room was in good condition, but unfortunately there was a significant housekeeping issue with the cleanliness of the sheets, which meant I had to change rooms again. That said, the manager was very understanding and appeared to take the issue seriously and act on it immediately, which I really appreciated. Overall, I can still recommend this hotel. The staff, design, and location are all very good, and I expect the housekeeping issue will be addressed. With a little more consistency in room and linen checks, this could very easily feel like a five-star experience.

Room very clean and comfortable, the mattress was a little off but there was no problem sleeping. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, many amenities available and there’s a convenience store in front of the hotel. We enjoyed the stay and price was very affordable for a 5 star hotel.

Our stay had both excellent and disappointing aspects. The hotel is luxurious and very well located, within walking distance of several museums. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality products. However, before our arrival we specifically emailed the hotel to request a quiet room. Despite this, we were initially given a room facing a busy street, with constant traffic noise directly outside our windows. This was very disappointing, especially since our request had been made in advance. After several unpleasant discussions and an initial request to pay an additional charge for a quieter room, the staff eventually agreed to move us to an equivalent room in a quiet location, without any extra cost. We appreciated the final outcome, but we believe this situation should have been handled much more professionally from the beginning. Overall, the hotel has many qualities, but the way our room request was managed affected our experience.

Stylish and modern. Comfortable bed. Location a little away from the main sights and shopping, but easy to walk (or plenty of bus routes nearby if it's too hot to walk!). Loved the drip coffee and matcha galettes included in the tea/coffee making set.
