Courtyard by Marriott London Heathrow Airport

Convenient for LHR, nice bar and balcony to sit and have a drink. Breakfast buffet was nice with a decent amount of choice. Recommend if you need an airport hotel.

New Hotel, comfortable overnight stay and good staff. Food good. Only issue was Wifi access.

A shuttle bus or hotel assistance in getting to the hotel from Heathrow would be a great addition. As international travelers, it was challenging to get a ride from the airport to the hotel, and we had too much luggage to walk. The Uber ride pickup place at Heathrow was also hard to find. Loved the restaurants, menu, room service, and bars! Check-in was a little confusing as we were told 3rd floor (and asked to confirm), but room was 115. We had to go up one floor from the lobby/check-in counter which was the "2" button on the elevator. We found it tho. Wi-Fi never worked during our stay (neither public nor room using my credentials and alternate credentials provided by the front desk). We have android phones. Called the front desk for Wi-Fi assistance; said they'd need some time. We were not contacted again.

The hotel itself is fine, new, clean, and tidy. But, the roof-top bar is open until midnight. After a long days travel, the last thing you want to have to listen to is loud music coming from there. Why have a nice place ruined by loud music like this keeping people awake? Music doesn’t need to be that loud for people to enjoy themselves. Come on Courtyard why are you letting this happen?

Well looked after and good room. Large car park onsite and pleasant breakfast buffet. And quiet given I could watch the planes take-off.

My room was spotless, spacious, and clearly cleaned to a very high standard—which I always appreciate. The staff throughout the hotel were professional and welcoming, but I have to give a special shout-out to the team at the Sky Bar. They were absolutely brilliant! Not only were the drinks great, but the service was fast, friendly, and really elevated the whole evening. Whether you're staying for business or leisure, I highly recommend this property. I’ll definitely be back!"

Excellent hotel, reception staff really helpful. Food was good but expensive. Great views of the runway ! Plenty of parking at an additional cost of £15. Large family room was well equipped with everything needed.

Service was horrible. Check in process was done by trainees. Treated like a second class citizen because I booked through Hotels.com even though I’m a Bonvoy member. When I went to take a shower, the water would not heat up. When I asked for the Wi-Fi code and instructions, the staff could care less. In good conscience I could never use this or recommend this as a good hotel if you are there to work at all. Thankfully it was clean, but there was no WiFi access unless you pay £5 / day, the staff is not helpful at all, and the hot water may come on for 1 second out of every 5 for you. Good luck if you stay here.

The room I stayed in did not smell great - would highly recommend they get the carpets cleaned

We booked a suite for a couple of nights whilst we were at an event locally. We were given room 119. A very nice, pleasant room at the front of the building. The hotel is situated on a busy road along the side of Heathrow airport. Unfortunately it meant that the kids drove up and down the road for hours with their small-D-energy attention seeking cars, which got frustrating. Thats not the fault of the hotel though. We discovered that the coffee machine wasnt working, so we were moved to room 319.... an identical room 2 floors up. The bathroom smelt really 'funky' in the new room. Seems like the shower drain might have been slightly blocked. Breakfast was pleasant - however - for someone who doesnt like to use disposable cups, im baffled as to why there were no glasses supplied for juices, and only non-recyclable cups???? I grabbed a mug and just used one of those instead, but i did find it odd. I found it very useful (as someone with allergies) that the allergens in all the cooked breakfast items were displayed very clearly on the wall. All staff were friendly. Reception was clean. Very conveniently located for Heathrow. But.... i hardly slept on the first night due to the noise outside.

Restroom smelled like fresh cigarettes. Sheets had a stain. I usually like nice and clean courtyards for quick stays but my husband could tell I was uncomfortable but it was only one night so I dealt. I laid on our flight blankets

Room was clean to start with, but had to find out during our stay that there would be no housekeeping to clean during our 3 night stay over Christmas. This was not communicated at booking. After complaining the staff cleaned our room the last day. Staff initially when informed were unapologetic and just gave us new towels. Overall an average stay.

Room smells like raw sewage and the pipes have made noise all night

Staff at front desk and restaurant were great. Unfortunately a wedding event was taking place and my room was right above the event center. Music was so loud it made my room vibrate (I thought it was an earthquake at first). Called to change rooms. Fire alarm went off which I understand happens but just added to a not-so-great experience. Changed rooms and the thermostat in new room was set to 33 degrees so it was sweltering. Thermostat wasn't responsive at all so I had to get a tech to come and reset it. Even after then, the thermostat would shut down every hour and reset to the 33 degree setting. Frustrating! The loud music could still be heard from my new room and even though the front staff said music would end at 1130pm it went until well past 1230am making for a very unpleasant night of sleep. This wasn't a great stay considering I had to be up at 5am for an early flight. Staff were very nice though and did their best.

We had a brief stay at this hotel. Mainly to be at the airport for an early flight. We were pleasantly surprised by how large the room was for the amount of money we paid. Bed was great as was the shower.

I’m a regular here. As usual, room was spacious & clean. Comfy bed; good shower; quiet; TV works; fast / reliable WiFi; iron & ironing board.

the FLOORS where horrific, they bounced, they squeaked - you could hear everyone outside your door - and boy when someone was running it was like being in a cattle car. didn't care for the glass bathrooms, noise travels easily and the beds where very very well used, they all sunk in the middle

Cleanliness: 8/10 Comfort: 3/10 Customer Service: 9/10 Stayed here for one night as a last minute booking just to relax away from home. This was the wrong hotel for that. Initially as I drove closer to the hotel, I thought maybe the airplane noises would be an issue and I could only blame myself for that since I booked near an airport. However, the airplane noises were no issue at all. The noises within the hotel were the issue. I am not a light sleeper by any means and I was still unable to fall asleep until 5.30am, so only slept a few hours. I could hear every door opening and closing in the hallway throughout the night. I could hear every conversation as well. It was absolutely unbearable. I was lying in the king size bed (which, by the way, is very soft, lumpy, and uncomfortable) all throughout the night unable to sleep because of the noises within the hotel. I’m not having any sleeping issues, so the lack of sleep was strictly due to the noise. Also note, I have stayed at many hotels in various countries, including all inclusive resorts, and I’ve never had so much noise enter my room. This is definitely an issue within the hotel that they should address. It’s not normal. Other than that, staff I dealt with were professional and kind. However, on check out, I was not asked if I enjoyed my stay. I took that as a hint they possibly get complaints about noise all the time so don’t bother asking. Only cleanliness issue I would note is there was some dried blood-coloured spe

I did not like the bathrooms. They’re nice and clean but it had the frosted glass with gaps so when you use the washroom there is no privacy. You can see in the gaps and hear everything.

This is the nicest hotel I would never stay in again. Everything was beautiful and clean, staff was excellent. Indian restaurant was great. But...The bathroom has a frosted glass door and one frosted glass wall. If you are staying alone it is no big deal, but staying with someone means that everything going on in the bathroom is public info. The gaps at the top and bottom of the glass let sounds and smells into the room, and at 2AM when you turn on the bathroom light the whole room is lit to wake everyone up. Designed by someone without a clue.

Front desk service and customer care when we tried to extend has been appalling. £30 overcharge and they did nothing to correct it when we realised. VERY disappointing. Customer care is very very poor.

Staff were all helpful and friendly

Arrived before 7am. I apologized for being so early and explained that I had been flying all night. Two gentlemen on the reception desk were extremely helpful. They explained that the cleaning staff didn’t start work until 8 but they would ask them to get a room ready for me as quickly as possible. I had breakfast and returned about 8:20am. The two gentlemen had been replaced by two ladies. I only dealt with one of them but it was very clear that the mood had changed and she was not at all interested in helping. She couldn’t give me any info about when a room might be ready and she couldn’t do a single thing about it. I waited until 09:30a The lady said nothing in all that time about the chances of a room being ready. Hard to believe that one room couldn’t be cleaned in an hour and a half. It’s amazing how obvious it is when someone doesn’t want to help. At 09:30 she went to the office and another man took over reception. I approached him to see if I would have any better luck. He explained that there were indeed rooms available but because my office made the booking through Expedia I would have to pay a 35 pound fee to check in early. That was no problem. I paid the fee and was in a room within 10 minutes. I have absolutely no idea why that wasn't offered by the lady earlier but I definitely felt that the lack of an offer was out of a desire to make us wait - there were others waiting as I was. Customer Service training is badly needed here.

Staff was exceptionally helpful , polite and friendly.

I fainted this morning in the morning. The staffs took great care of me, especially a receptionist named Thilda (hope I spelled her name correctly), who went above and beyond to take care of me!! I would give her 10 stars!! The room service is excellent too! Highly recommend hotel!

Requested assistance with calling for a cab to the airport. Their response is sorry, we don’t do that.

Great location to the airport.

The hotel is advertised as a Heathrow hotel but you need to take a ride to the airport. The hotel does not offer shuttles so one is limited to the city operated or taxi/uber. There is limited dining options around and the surrounding areas do not look walkable. Staff were nice and the Breakfast was good. We booked for a family room (one king and one sofa bed). The room was small and only had one bathroom. The room was carpeted and had various stains throughout.

No free airpor shuttle.

Courtyard Marriott was there for us during the recent tube strike in London. We had to cancel our hotel in Kensington as there was no way to get to it, and we had an upcoming flight home to the states. Their proximity to the Elizabeth line and shuttle to the hotel perfectly positioned us to prevail in a difficult situation . The staff is amazing and the rooms comfortable ( and less expensive than London). Their viewing areas of Heathrow flights was fun and we would stay there again: maybe instead of London from now on. Thank you Courtyard Marriott!

Proximity to the Airport. A minus was that they do not have shuttle service to and from the airport .

the hotel is near the airport but not a walking distance as advertised. It was a $30 uber ride to get there. Besides that hotel was great, stuff were helpful and professional. Clean and quiet room with everything you need in it.

Sky Bar service and food terrible

The rooms were perfect, the food in the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The service in the in-house restaurant sky bar was slow and lazy, the the food was all outstanding.

There is a £10.95 service charge at the indian restaurant!!. I’ve never been charged that much before.

Brand new, beautiful property. Front desk staff and lobby staff went above and beyond. We had dinner and drinks at the Sky Bar on the 6th floor. It was the literal worst service we have ever experienced. Ever. The food and drinks were decent, the staff was absolutely awful from start to finish and there is a “service charge”, so we HAD to tip them. From the person that was clearly “in charge” to the wait staff, it was the worst service ever.

Good if you need to stay on Heathrow. Nice skybar, good beds and good breakfast!!
