Stayed 1 night

It was too hot in the room, and there was just one pedestal fan available. Outside it was really nice in the evening at around 17-20 whereas in the room, it felt like above 25. Otherwise, it was really nice, everything was clean and neat.

The pub was ideal as we were going to the theatre royal. It is convenient for the abbey gardens.

Easy to find and with a small to medium sized pub underneath. The room, although fairly basic and small (as reflected in the price) was clean. It had a perfectly acceptable en-suite shower and toilet complete with towels, a small TV set and a kettle with tea and coffee, My only gripe was a musty smell by the door at the bottom of the stairs in the main hallway (might have been coming from the carpet down there). For a budget option I have no complaints though especially as there was a cooked breakfast included in the price and the staff were terrific. Beware though that the rooms all overlook the beer garden which can get noisy at night (an occupational hazard with many rooms over pubs) but overall I enjoyed my stay.
