El lugar es muy bonito. La habitación estaba muy agradable, cómoda y espaciosa. Varios detalles de buen gusto. El estacionamiento no está en el lugar; tienen un servicio de valet parking a un hotel de la misma propiedad que está a dos cuadras de los bungalows sin costo (propina voluntaria).

staff not friendly,rude, bad mood. Pathways to rooms crumbling, easy to trip especially at night, cant roll luggage. Only changed sheets once. Did not clean room unless asked to; then staff responded moody. Shower floor was so dirty we washed and bleached our own.

Beautiful unique place to stay, lots of space, awesome furniture. The adjoining small restaurante is excellent with great twist on Mexican classics. The boutique shop next to it has great local designs. I have been staying here fir the last 4 years and always great, each room is is unique with the decor and wonderful courtyard.

The bungalow was extremely comfortable, quiet, and nicely decorated. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable. The shower had the best water pressure I've experienced in a hotel in Mexoco. Guests at the Bungalows can use the well-appointed gym at the Demetria Hotel, which is a few minutes walk away. The Demetria Hotel restaurant is absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend the ensalada de espinaca, pescado zarandeado, and pescado en salsa de esparrages. The architecture of the bungalows is enhanced by the contrasting modern furniture and art work. The Demetria Hotel architecture and decor is masterful and extremely comfortable.

Amenities, rooms, and customer service aren’t suitable for a business trip ie. unreliable wifi. The hotel manager confirmed the hotel was more suitable for leisure travelers.

It was a great stay, although only for two nights, I loved it. It’s close to everything and there is someone at the front desk 24/7 plus the little cafe attached was remarkably good!

This property is super cute. The bungalow had a mini fridge and an induction burner but nothing to cook with not even dishes or utensils which was odd. You can walk over to the main hotel if you want to use the pool. Our biggest complaint was that it took 40 minutes to get our car when we checked out. We were going straight to the airport and this really ate into our extra time so we were really stressed. Also I'm not sure if we were supposed to leave our key at the front desk. It was not mentioned when we arrived but then when we came back a different person tried to get our key from a filing cabinet so we were pretty confused. Bed was super comfortable & overall a great place to stay for the price.

the architecture and the layout of the property we're really unique. the stone floor getting and coming from your room was somewhat of a problem for suitcases on Wheels because of the gaps in the stones. overall it was a very nice day and I would come back again

Foul smelling water in the shower

Towels are old and torn, no coffee maker, the hotel has a very strong moldy smell. Reception team not helpful for a late check in

All the furniture is filthy and the water coming from their underground cistern that feeds the showers and faucets has an extremely foul odor almost like the smell of something rotten or unsanitary.

I’ve been staying for over 4yrs. Every time I come to GDL this is the place to stay. Unfortunately, the place hasn’t been kept up to date. The walls are falling apart, mold everywhere in the room, the smell of sewage comes out of the toilet, some lights don’t work, etc. if the website allows me I will post pictures. This was the last time staying here. It’s a shame. I love d this place but unfortunately will never stay here in the future.

To sum up the disappointments: 1) The bathtub couldn’t drain, so you end your shower standing in grey water. 2) Not clean; piles of long red hair clinging to all points of the chair/setee, and there was a make-up brush and a sort of post-use container lying on a chair. (If you miss things that big, how good could the cleaning be?) 3) The windows (filthy) had no screens, so I had mosquitos to battle in February. 4) Towels were frayed to the point of having no hems, with long strings of threads hanging off them. Shabby chic? 5) The bathroom stunk of what I first thought was sewage, but I came to believe it was sulphur I smelled. This suggests there was no filter or softener in the water system. 6) Cockroaches made a pilgrimage to die in the bathroom. 7) No means to make coffee in the room, when I asked for a kettle, I was offered a filthy Mr Coffee maker, and told I would have to wash it. 8) No coat hangers in the closet. 9) There’s an apartment above the room I stayed in, and I could hear every step of the upstairs residents high heels when she wore them. It was like living in a drum. 10) No instructions for programming the safe, and no way I could figure out to make the TV work. 11) The unit faced the street so I was always waking up to street noise, even though the windows were closed for the mosquitos. 12) The magazines artfully displayed were from October 2018 and Summer 2021. On the plus side, the staff at the front were all helpful friendly and courteous

The bathroom shower tile floor was extremely dirty, and there were numerous missing tiles, making it clear that maintenance is urgently required. The lack of upkeep seriously impacted the overall experience.

Brown colored water came out of the shower and sinks that smelled extremely bad. The water was like this my entire stay. It smelled so bad I had to skip taking showers or take showers at another place nearby. The water in their storage cistern is extremely contaminated and the staff never rectified the issue.

We had an amazing stay at Demetria. The units we stayed in was dark as the walls were black and grey, but the stay was comfortable. Our bungalow was spacious, as clean as it could be given that it was a tropical setting filled with plants and lots of birds. We loved how quiet and soothing the property was. I would definitely stay here again. I feel that anyone giving bad reviews has expectations of a very American "holiday inn" experience. This is not it. This is old world Mexico done very well.

I like the location and the quietness. come on guys you give a kitchenette you got no glasses silverware or even a pot?

Private, spacious. Very nice sitting area in the living room. Could use power outlets for use with laptop. Thou there was an outlet at the desk in the bedroom, the living room had none. I would have loved spending the time I worked in the living room.

Room had small maintenance issues which hotel was slow to respond to. Strangely, cleaning staff left us without towels 2 days out 5 (which required us to request them). Not the end of the world, but a little strange...

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the staff who made checking in an absolute breeze. The bungalow itself is absolutely stunning!! My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a peaceful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. I especially loved the on-site cafe/bakery with delicious food and an inviting atmosphere. The hotel’s location was ideal, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the main attractions. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. It truly felt like a home away from home. I can't wait to visit again

Después de haber cubierto el cobro por el alojamiento me dijeron que tenían que sacar mil pesos de mi tarjeta por una razón que nunca entendí. Me parece inapropiada esa práctica, pues tendría que pagar cualquier consumo una vez que lo haya hecho. Realmente estoy considerando no volver a alojarme en este hotel, que me gusta mucho, si continuan con esa política que me parece ilegal.

A charming property, rooms nicely decorated , friendly staff. The hotel is centrally located, well conected, walkable and good restaurants near by.

A wonderful place to stay for a short or long time in Guadalajara. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The neighbourhood is wonderful and easy to walk to many restaurants and bars. Best kept secret in the city.
