Very helpful staff throughout. Large and comfortable room with excellent walk-in shower, serviced very well every day. Extremely good breakfast with a great variety of cold and cooked food. The pool on the roof is quite small, and not much room around it, but nothing can be done about that - just wish they would turn off the so-called "music/noise", so that guests can just enjoy a peaceful time up there in the sunshine. Overall a most enjoyable stay.

Bra hotell mitt i smeten i St Julian´s med fantastisk utsikt över vatten och stad. Trevlig pool högst upp. Rekommenderas. En plump var att man inte kunde sätta upp drinkar och mat som man förtärde i poolbaren, på rummet.

Wir können nur Positives über das Hotel schreiben. Ganz tolle Zimmer mit der Möglichkeit auch mal das Fenster zu öffnen. Alle Angestellten im Hotel sind sehr zuvorkommend und immer und zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist zwar etwas kleiner als angenommen doch auch dort haben wir ein Plätzchen finden können, um zu entspannen und die tolle Aussicht geniessen zu können.

Consigliamo vivamente questo hotel in cui abbiamo trascorso 5 notti, la posizione è ideale, in quanto è vicina alla movida di St Julian, ma è in un punto tranquillo e centrale. La struttura è dotata di parcheggio gratuito , che risulta molto comodo per chi ha affittato la macchina. La camera era ampia, ben arredata e pulita, non abbiamo potuto usufruire della piscina in quanto la temperatura non lo permetteva. La colazione era ottima ed il personale è stato estremamente gentile.

Nice modern property. Generally clean and new furnishings. The area was nice but directly outside the hotel was building works, which itself wasn’t too bad. But the street is narrow and drivers are impatient, beeping early in the morning and late in evening. Sometimes people loiter outside and the noise wakes you if your room has a balcony. I didn’t hear other residents or people in rooms around us so that was good. The hotel staff were friendly enough. The cleaning staff were cheerful. I do think they start too early in the morning. I was woken by some vigorous vacuuming and moving of furniture. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. The TV had mainly Italian and Austrian channels which is strange when the second language of the country is English! But we could log into YouTube and Netflix which was great. The WiFi in the hotel is very good much better than at home!! Fastest hotel WiFi I’ve ever used. The pool area was clean, wish the pool was warm in winter but it was nice to use. The area has plenty of restaurants and cafes, and you can get around the island easily on the bus or via taxi. We didn’t eat at the hotel as there was little to offer as vegans. I would definitely come to Malta again but I wouldn’t stay here again unless I needed to be in the immediate area.

Great location although nerves of steel are required for the basement carpark it’s so tight. Good breakfast. Lovely staff. Could do with some usb charging sockets in the rooms if I was being picky

Our stay was a like a roller coaster. Overall, I do not recommend to stay at this hotel. We booked the most expensive/high-class room and upon check in it was dirty and disgusting. The shower was dirty and shower head crumbling apart from rust, bed sheets and towels were all dirty, room was dusty and has chunks of hair with dust hanging above the side of bed. Even though the issue was resolved upon complaint, it happened 2 more times. + the breakfast area is nasty, plates are all greasy, crumb are everywhere on the seats/floor/table, no proper cleaning done. Hotel has offered free ride and drink compensation, which is not enough to cover over all experience at the hotel. I wish we selected different place. The last to mention, i asked for partial refund, which managed said that will talk with reservation team as booked with Expedia and then ghosted me via whatsapp/email and then told Expedia that no refund will be given. Not a guest experience I would like to have on my celebration (we stayed 7 days)

A big thank you to the wonderful staff at this hotel. So warm and welcoming. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was nice and the location is a minute or two from numerous restaurants/bars.

Our room was rather big as was the bathroom, with a balcony with chairs and table. The room itself was very clean, everything was changed everyday. The shower was huge however we would have liked bigger towels( replaced daily) and a magnifying glass. The staff was amazing. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with plenty of maltese pastries and dishes and more.

We were extremely impressed with the welcome and the helpfulness and kindness of all the staff. They are very keen to make your stay the best ever. In the main they succeed. We were less keen on the breakfast. The buffet style cooked food was always just warm and the fried eggs like rubber even when straight out of the kitchen. We found that they were baked not fried. The plates were not always squeaky clean but dishwasher smeared and on a few occasions had food residue - not the best way to start the day. If they offered eggs cooked to order, used warmed plates that were checked for cleanliness then everything could be perfect.

Room was very nice and the hotel is good but the wall between the rooms and especially the dividing door means every noise from another room is incredibly loud and my experience was not good as I had some very loud people next too me. When I was asked how the room was I said I had checked out early due to noise and the person on reception who asked me just replied “perfect” which showed the were not listening.

Fantastic Privilege Suite on the 10th floor with beautiful views of Spinola Bay and the sea. An unforgettable bath in the bathtub overlooking the bay! The room with full-height windows allowed you to enjoy a wonderful view. The room is divided into four zones. At least one adapter for European electrical sockets is missing. For such a standard, the desk is too small. Very comfortable bed. Huge terrace with sun loungers, chairs and table.

My 2nd stay here and I will stay here again when I am next in Malta in October. The main positive for me is the location and the room is very quiet / good sound proofing and I can always get a full nights sleep which can be rare in St Julians. The staff are amazing. Very kind and helpful. Nespresso machine in room and free pods every day. Everything clean and tidy. Good fridge nice and cold. Perfect!

Tutto bene ad esclusione della posizione della stanza la cui finestra affacciava su un muro esterno. Nonostante abbia ripetutamente chiesto di cambiare stanza, mi è stato risposto che l"albergo era al completo. Per il resto tutto perfetto. Sarebbe bene avvisassero in anticipo che la stanza che ti verrà assegnata in base a prezzo e disponibilità, potrebbe avere una finestra cieca.

Room was very nice and the hotel is good but the wall between the rooms and especially the dividing door means every noise from another room is incredibly loud and my experience was not good as I had some very loud people next too me. When I was asked how the room was I said I had checked out early due to noise and the person on reception who asked me just replied “perfect” which showed the were not listening.

The staff at Mercure St. Julian’s were absolutely incredible. We had a newborn baby and I (Mum) was in a wheelchair following an Achillies injury - they couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating and kind. The room was perfect, the room and whole hotel was extremely clean, modern and spacious. Pool on roof and sunbathing terrace perfect. Can’t recommend enough.

The rooms in the hotel were clean. The mattresses and pillows were exceptional. Unfortunately on one of my days the bathroom drain got blocked and water flooded onto the bedroom and when I spoke to the supervisor Roland, he informed me that I just place some towels as there was no maintenance personnel available. My husband slipped but avoided an injury. The night supervisor Sultan was v helpful and mopped the floor for us. It is important that the hotel has a duty maintenance person available to call in such emergencies. I think customer service at the hotel could be improved.

The area of St. Julian's is a going out area with a beautiful mariner. You will have to take a bus to go everywhere. But, the hotel is well situated for restaurants and the bus stop is only minute away. The people who work in the hotel are very friendly. Breakfast is plentiful but not necessary the best. The room facility is good. Kettle for my tea. The shower is the best. Due to the continuous construction on the island, it is best not to get a room with balcony as you will hear a lot of noise. Also they face the front of the buildings, you will hear noises late into the evening.

Nice modern property. Generally clean and new furnishings. The area was nice but directly outside the hotel was building works, which itself wasn’t too bad. But the street is narrow and drivers are impatient, beeping early in the morning and late in evening. Sometimes people loiter outside and the noise wakes you if your room has a balcony. I didn’t hear other residents or people in rooms around us so that was good. The hotel staff were friendly enough. The cleaning staff were cheerful. I do think they start too early in the morning. I was woken by some vigorous vacuuming and moving of furniture. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. The TV had mainly Italian and Austrian channels which is strange when the second language of the country is English! But we could log into YouTube and Netflix which was great. The WiFi in the hotel is very good much better than at home!! Fastest hotel WiFi I’ve ever used. The pool area was clean, wish the pool was warm in winter but it was nice to use. The area has plenty of restaurants and cafes, and you can get around the island easily on the bus or via taxi. We didn’t eat at the hotel as there was little to offer as vegans. I would definitely come to Malta again but I wouldn’t stay here again unless I needed to be in the immediate area.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel itself was very good. Great breakfast and lovely rooftop pool. However, there is building work nearby and noise from the very lively resort of St Julian’s kept us awake - with nightclubs emptying in the early hours. It was very rowdy and we were on the 7th floor!!

An sich ein süßes kleines Hotel mit einem sauberen Pool auf der Dachterrasse und freundlichen Personal. Pro: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Lage, Restaurants etc. alles in der Nähe. Sauberes Zimmer, großes Badezimmer und TV mit Netflix. Contra: direkte Baustelle am Zimmer, weshalb es am frühen Morgen schon sehr laut ist. Die Betten waren unbequem und die Kissen zu klein und weich. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, es wurde lediglich Luft gepustet. Die Nächte waren daher sehr heiß. (Im März!) Das Frühstück war sehr britisch und keine Abwechslung des buffets. Keine vegane Auswahl! Und ebenfalls nur Kuhmilch. Das Restaurant ist im Untergeschoss weshalb es dort dunkel war. An sich war es trotzdem ein schöner Aufenthalt, im Sommer würde ich jedoch ein anderes Hotel wählen.

L'hôtel est très bien situé à St Julian, quartier très animé. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et confortables. La piscine au dernier étage est top avec une vue exceptionnelle.

Our room was rather big as was the bathroom, with a balcony with chairs and table. The room itself was very clean, everything was changed everyday. The shower was huge however we would have liked bigger towels( replaced daily) and a magnifying glass. The staff was amazing. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with plenty of maltese pastries and dishes and more.

It’s a really nice location. The bus was just down the road, with shops both high end and normal. Really loved this location. The hotel was good too. The breakfast was decent, however there were a lot of fruit flies buzzing around the food… for that reason didn’t eat much. No complementary water given either.

We were extremely impressed with the welcome and the helpfulness and kindness of all the staff. They are very keen to make your stay the best ever. In the main they succeed. We were less keen on the breakfast. The buffet style cooked food was always just warm and the fried eggs like rubber even when straight out of the kitchen. We found that they were baked not fried. The plates were not always squeaky clean but dishwasher smeared and on a few occasions had food residue - not the best way to start the day. If they offered eggs cooked to order, used warmed plates that were checked for cleanliness then everything could be perfect.

I was disappointed in my room which had a window looking onto a wall. There were not enough sun umbrellas at rooftop pool. Drilling with building works next door started at 7.00 am and I should have been prewarned. Breakfast was mediocre and I didn’t think the hotel was up to 4 star standard.

The hotel is a lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms are spacious and clean. Facilties are excellent. All staff we encountered were very friendly. One negative point is that there are major construction works close to the hotel that do cause disruption from 7am but the whole of Malta is basically under development so you cannot escape it.
