Glad we stayed here. Mercure always delivers excellent service in our experience. Breakfast was excellent - a lot of options to suit every diet - and it set you up for the whole day. Rooms were of a high standard, views over the pool area from the balcony and kept well serviced and clean. All staff encounters were extremely positive and they were all a pleasure to talk to. Our only minor point was that we felt the trees around the pool could do with being trimmed as they are blocking the sun from some key areas around the pool. The area is only a short walk to Poniente beach and the Old Town. This was our first visit to Benidorm and we would look at the Mercure as our first choice for our return visit.

Breakfast is a cattle market only two coffee machines for 100+ guests. Each machine takes over a minute to make one cup, it’s ground brewed and the poured and then flushes the spout. Absolutely useless system. Pool is very sunbathing unfriendly. Too many trees.

Love this hotel, have stayed previously and would stay again. Doesn’t feel like your typical Benidorm hotel, has a much more upmarket feel. Really lovely pool area with heated pool. Poolside Cocktails are excellent, albeit it can take quite a while to be served when only one staff working but they are really made with care and attention so worth the wait! Breakfast is excellent, everything you could want and even had live music one morning. Only small gripe is we actually got told off like naughty children for taking a couple of pastries from the breakfast buffet . . we had paid for breakfast that day but our transfer was leaving so really didn’t see a problem grabbing something for the journey, it was literally 5 mins before it officially opened but the staff member was having none of it! Apart from that, staff are great, especially the reception staff who are super welcoming and helpful.

This hotel is stunning! We went for a 3 night honeymoon and couldnt get over the high standard of the hotel. On arrival, the staff were helpful and greeted us with glasses of cava. Our room was lovely. We had the duplex and it was incredibly spacious with great facilities: bath in the bedroom, luxury toiletries, 2 balconies and complimentary cava, soft drinks and snacks. The pool area was gorgeous. The bali beds were a real treat. All of the plants and trees offered a real escape from the other buildings. The bar food and drinks were tasty and fresh as well. We even had a live violinist play one afternoon by the pool. Breakfast was delicious with a range of continental, fried foods, sweet treats and fruits. Highly recommended!

Very good stay in old town. Had deluxe room at the Mercury hotel. had a large veranda which faced the pool and was a sun trap all afternoon. Great location for beach and old town. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and cava on arrival was a lovely touch. Only negative was pool area is so covered by trees and shrubs that getting the sun was nearly impossible the few beds that did had people leaving towels on loungers from early so never available. We went the beach which was 18euro for 2 beds and a parasol. Glad we packed hoodies and tracksuit for evenings as can get windy and temperature drops. Great places to eat and plenty of bars in old town. Try Tapas alley and long walks along the spotless promenade stopping to people watch and having another beer.

The Hotel was Style over substance, Decor of the hotel was stunning, Breakfast was ok, evening meal was awful cold, limited selection of food, recycled food, not good. Pool area is stunning but so many beds are in the shade. Rooms look nice but no practical, Beds rock hard, pillows awful, no mirror to do makeup or hair other than the shower door, or a mirror which is way too high.

We had a faultless 4 night stay. The staff were very welcoming and hotel itself spotlessly clean and smells amazing. We went for the standard room which was very comfortable with a massive tv and balcony with a sea view. Incredible sunrise and sunset viewing. Lovely toiletries and complimentary water tea coffee etc. The breakfast was out of this world! Anything you could possibly want including cava! Delicious fresh food and coffee. Slightly varied hot offering each day. Location was excellent, 3 minute walk from the beach. Only downside was the pool was like ice, but little point heating it in January when its so quiet. We'll definitely be back!

There was a light not working when we arrived and the safe had locked itself but within a couple of minutes of calling reception they sent the maintenance man to fix the problems. There was a section of the ceiling above the sink which needed repair but it wasn't a problem other than looking a bit unsightly. Miguel at reception was excellent and offered us another room but we stayed where we were. The staff were generally nice. The room was cleaned every day as it should be and linen changed. The 3 lifts that take you to your rooms are very slow its only 8 floors but takes for ever. We had b&b but the breakfast wasn't great but we found a lovely place outside the hotel for a great breakfast.

Love the chill vibe in this hotel compared to what the craziness of Benidorm can bring . Another pleasant stay and would definitely recommend and come back to if in the area again . Saying that it does look a little more tired since we last visited two years ago, some of the rooms need refreshing and one of the rooms we booked had the patio doors all cracked ( which they changed rooms instantly, but they didn’t seem shocked to know either ) .

Stunning hotel, staff friendly and very helpful. Room was beautiful and we had our own sun terrace which was great. Spotlessly clean and beds were very comfy, had a great sleep. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, thought the guitar player was a nice touch. Pool area was clean and plenty of sunbeds. Surrounding area was quite at night and only a 5 minute cab or 15 minute walk into Benidorm strip. Just a 2 minute walk down to the beach too. Great weekend break and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel ok service provided too many excuses Why things don’t work. Garage parking a disaster without proper instructions, designated spot occupie. Misinformed on location. Sent into dark garage not directed to 2nd basement. Key did not open doors. Need valee parking. Check in Personel not knowledgeable and midinformed need better training. House keeping and food service terrific. Hotel needs better front door Checkin management and training. Better customer service is needed.

It took forever to check in- 3 females behind the desk with 1 computer. In the evening the restaurant is quiet but they have 3/4 members of staff walking around chatting whilst they have 1 barman trying to serve multiple people. As soon as a group order a cocktail you are waiting 20 minutes for a beer. I have booked over 30 rooms across 3 days for a birthday- the hotel is lovely but the service and check in are dreadful. The small problems could easily be rectified…..I am disappointed though

Amazing hotel. Staff are extremely attentive. Hotel was clean and very nice. Greeted on the way in and out. We had a couple issues in our room with the tv but they were sorted in less than 10 minutes! The pool was so nice and there was an outside seating area which was lovely to have a drink there. Breakfast was fresh and good variety! Cannot wait to stay here again

The staff were lovely, very welcoming. Prosecco and fruity water on arrival. The room and service was great. The breakfast wasn’t very nice however the other food was great. Poolside service via the QR code was a bit hit and miss however ordering with the bartender was fine. Very comfy beds and beautiful rooms. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel was good - food options for breakfast and buffet evening meal were limited and repetitive - not worth Euro 25. Room was good and comfortable, which is what you would expect for the price, as we paid extra for a deluxe room. Pool area is nice and provides shade when needed. Check in and bar staff are very helpful.

the breakfast buffet was excellent but the hot dinner buffet was not good at all,not enough meat and fish dishes food was not hot enough and no green vegetables except salad.It was also expensive at 25.euros.However the food in the restaurant was good although I would have liked some vegetables with my salmon.Xmas Eve Buffet was very good,. so they need to improve dinner buffet but I loved the hotel and would go back again and would recommend it to anyone..

Most of the staff members are friendly, others are not. The knowledge of gastronomic basics is - from my perspective - not lived (also here pointing to the most of the staff). The food is okay but flavorless. Sure, one of the best hotels in Benidorm but there need to be a lot of improvements to be achieved by management and staff. Really nice interior!
