Took the weekend for a trip to NASCAR. I love this hotel because it doesn't have a casino and all the smoking and crazy stuff that comes with it. It is very nice, quiet, and relaxing.

Quick check in, Clean room, nice facilities, restaurant and coffee shop had quality food and decent prices. Free parking, smoke free, clean restrooms. The hallways are noisy in the AM due to housekeeping but overall this place is great and I will be returning!

The beds could have had more pillows, and been a little more updated . The housekeeper did not give us service, and the hall smelled like smoke. The pool area is very small and the picture of the pool was misleading.

Great room plenty of free parking great free made to order breakfast with four options in the cafe. Parking is adjacent to the lobby and rooms but everywhere we go parking is a separate structure so didn't understand the complaints? Very quick and easy to park and go to room. This hotel exceeded our expectations

Check-in was quick and easy. I’d enjoyed the complimentary free breakfast for my 3 nights there. As being a Gold Member, I had the option for a free room upgrade and 20% off dining services. The hotel fitness center was extremely disappointing. I was eager and pump for the gym and to my surprise it was just one small little room equipped with 4 cardio machine, a stretching area, and one 25lbs dumbbell. The hotel is walkable to the strip, which is nice if you enjoy walking and getting your steps in.

Nice, non-gaming hotel around 10 minutes drive from the strip. Newlly renovated and clean. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Even gave us 2 extra breakfast vouchers since there were 4 in our family. Free breakfast at one of the restaurants in the hotel was very good. Free garage parking was a plus. No resort fees. Only a couple weird things: check-in area was on the 2nd floor. Also the windows were all tinted a reddish color, probably from the old hotel. Would stay there again.

Off the strip but the rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. There’s a lot of food options and bar within. There isn’t a casino but that is nice in my opinion! Stayed for work and a quick uber or walk to the strip. 2nd time and will continue to book for our staff.

Check in was confusing, as it was located on the second floor. You need to drive into the parking ramp first and drive to the second level where the front desk and rooms are located. The hotel is nice and quiet. There were people in the next room, but we didn’t hear them at all. We had a standard room with two double beds. The beds felt smaller than a regular full size. There was a small refrigerator, but no microwave. With two restaurants and a nice coffee shop, the microwave wasn’t really necessary. The location was great and pretty close to major events and the airport.

the hotel is beautiful and the lobby area is very classy. the dirty elevator and the torn carpet in the room however diminished the experience a bit.

This place is average all around. From location, to the room (the red window tint is odd), to the cleanliness of the floors and drapes and furniture (bring slides), to the restaurant. The place was mostly empty while we were there, but they said they were sold out. Saw VERY few people.

Nice hotel and I love the fact there is no resort fee. My only issues were I don’t love their pillows, a bit hard for me, and the WiFi wasn’t great. I was there for work so the WiFi issue is a deal breaker for me otherwise I would stay again. A quick walk to the Sahara if you want to use the monorail which worked great as I was going to the convention center each day.

I’ve stayed here twice now because it’s just off the Strip, and it’s always clean, and very well priced. I’m not a gambler, so the fact there’s no slot machines or any sort of gambling happening in the establishment, is a big bonus! My own “gripe” is that with the red window tinting, it makes the room interior a bit funky when it’s sunny outside and the blinds are open. But it’s a minor complaint.

Clean, quiet hotel that's a bit farther from the rustle and bustle of the strip. The tradeoff is that this means there are less walkable places to go to. Checking in and checking out at this hotel is straightforward and easy. Included breakfast was quite good, you get vouchers to use with four different options such as eggs and toast, waffles, avocado toast, and oatmeal. Room was spacious and clean. A lot of drawer and storage options. My only minor complaint was that the water pressure wasn't great for the shower. There is also no shower door or enclosure or either.

The room was spacious and comfy. We appreciated the 2-room bathroom, its always helpful to have a separate water closet. And it’s off-strip and has great freeway access. The only reason for an overall 4 is the bright pink windows! I went back to the listing to see if I’d missed that, but in all the room pix, other than the penthouse pix which I thought were just odd, the drapes were closed so everything looks normal. But the constant deep pink tint put me off. The “super” moon rise was pink and orange and sunrise looked like a bad painting. Not sure I’d stay here again, but the location was great and having the casino/chaos in another building was much appreciated.

Free parking in an adjacent block. Reception was quick , bridge access to the rooms was easy. The room was modern and equiped with good shower, comfortable bed and fridge, No coffee facitlties in the room. Breakfast is downstairs near the lobby included in the price but again no coffee. I good room over all I would rate this a high end 3 Stars.

As a regular customer at the Ahern, I love that I can rely on a clean strip adjacent stay with no casino or crowds.. love the free parking and lack of resort fee.. Those things aside, and perhaps as a result of general Vegas tourism lacking in 2025, the hotel felt notably scaled back in terms of charm and services.. the check-in desk is no longer adjacent to valet drive. If you haven’t stayed here before you’d be confused where to find it. Not a single working vending machine as confirmed by front desk.. they said “it’s a third party service we do not control.” Seems a lame excuse as there are many third parties who manage vending and I’d consider this total outtage to have more to do with management ambivalence to service or a contract dispute. After checking in online which claimed in the email was contactless check in, and after uploading id and reaffirming credit card, the front desk asked for all of it again and clicked away for a considerably long time (seriously seemed like the process took 15 min) to get us checked in.. first attempt to physically enter our room resulted in another trip to front desk to program the keys properly. Hoping these things are just bumps in the road and not a decline in this usually charming and convenient spot to stay.

One of the housekeeping staff was very rude and was showing a lot attitude when asked her to do the regular cleaning job, I didn't even ask her to do full room cleaning but partial and she was showing attitude even to do partial work. I had complained to the fort desk about it.

Ahern was very nice! Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The maids did a fantastic job! There was a fridge which came in handy and the hotel provided 2 bottles of water complimentary. The location was slightly off the Strip so sometimes the traffic was slow. There was never a problem finding parking. The best part of the whole experience were the great employees at the Ahern. Especially Christina who handed me complimentary tickets to the magic/comedy show in the afternoon. She was extremely personable and a pleasure to talk to. I will definitely be coming back to the Ahern!

Well this trip was only good because of our stay that was not planned, my husband was in the hospital with a brain bleed and I needed to stay as close as possible and it be very affordable and I can honestly say that AHERN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The manager there, her name is crystal and besides crystal being amazing so was her entire staff they made my daughter and I feel so special. I will forever go back there. Thank you crystal and everyone at AHERN!

Room was big, bright, and clean. Great location. Wonderful restaurants next door and breakfast at the hotwl restaurant was great. The staff from cleaning staff, to restaurant staff, to security all friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The only reason for a 4 rating instead of a 5 is upon arrival the front desk staff had decided to take a lunch break with no relief so we sat for about 45 minutes with others waiting to check in until the desk staff returned.

All I can say is wow. The staff is absolutely amazing. Victoria always is my server at breakfast and her smile is contagious. Effie is the most amazing concierge in all of Las Vegas. Rainya is one of the ambassadors here and goes out of our way to help me get around because I have limited vision. This is my favorite property in las vegas because of the staff.

The location was just off the strip on the north end. It made it a bit quieter, which was nice. It’s a ten minute walk to the Sahara Hotel, where you can walk (in air conditioning) to the monorail. It also helps to avoid walking around the rear of the hotel where the city is dealing with warm weather, tourist friendly issues. The Deuce bus is also just a short walk. The staff was very nice and always helpful. There is a restaurant on site, which has a fine breakfast (the breakfast potatoes are delicious; they’re like wedges that are curled and very crispy, I’ve never had anything like them). The room was big enough for our needs. The view isn’t the best but there are mountains in the background and there are casino lights to be seen at night. I’ll for sure consider staying here again if I ever have to come back to this city.

This is a very nice hotel off the beaten path but close enough to walk to the strip. Free parking, spacious clean comfortable rooms and a stylish hotel with good food available make this an easy one to recommend. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Got a good price through Hotels.com & loved our stay! The Ahern is at the end/back of strip close to the area where homeless people be/by the fwy BUT the hotel is super clean (inside and out), shiny/new looking, easy free self park, comfortable beds/nice staff. Free breakfast was a plus and it was yummy. (4 breakfast options, con: no drink included) Also, I liked that there was a 7Eleven in the back corner, 30 second drive or 3 min walk. Cece at check in was super friendly/nice. One thing they need are signs maybe in parking lot & by elevator letting guest know check in is on the 2nd floor to the right by elevators. Check in is easy to miss because its a large room behind glass that looks like a shop. If the price is right, will definitely be staying here again & will recommended it to everyone!

Ahern delivers on every level! No gambling, no smoking! Great spot if you want to get away from the noise and people. Several good restaurants and 7-11 within 3min walk. $10 uber to the convention center. This was my first time (7 nights) here, and it will be my go-to from now on. Fantastic comfort and the 9th floor views are good too.

This hotel is clean, smoke, free, and not crowded. There's also very good access to roads that can get you anywhere you want to be on the strip without the congestion. There is not a casino in this hotel. We had very low expectations for the restaurant on the first floor. However, we ate there several times because the food was so good. I recommend the breakfast, the battered fish, and the pizza. But everything was delicious and fresh. The parking is free. When we first arrived, it was confusing to find the hotel lobby. You drive into the parking garage up one floor. That is actually the second floor with respect to the hotel.

Always an amazing stay. A best kept locals secret. A must stay. The coffee shop is amazing. You won’t pay $15 for a large. The restaurant has the best sausage and eggs for breakfast, the lunch and dinner has amazing food as well.

The staff was very courteous. We enjoyed the casual All American Cafe. We sang karaoke there, ate great breakfasts there, drank beer there after a long day of walking, and had late night hot dogs there. We loved the car/bike show and the paintings in the art gallery. It was clean and quiet for Vegas, which was nice after a noisy day.
