Very clean and comfortable room. It was a heat wave during my visit, and the AC in my room was wonderful! Everything has been recently renovated. The only thing I wish the room had was a small fridge. Also, the hotel only has 5 parking spots at a reduced price (so I could not get parking).

This charming hotel is in a quiet part of Nice, close to the shore. The decor was whimsical and the rooms small, but get the job done (small rooms are common in Europe). The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. There is an elevator in the building. The gem of this hotel is the staff. They were genuinely warm, kind, and very helpful. They really made our stay the best. We also loved the locked luggage room, which allowed us to easily enjoy another day in Nice as we waited for a late flight. We would happily return to this hotel if we find ourselves in Nice again.

Pretty good place overall. It was clean. Service was very good and check-in was easy. A little bit tricky loading/unloading/parking, because it's in the heart of the city. Easy walk to the Promenade. Walls and floor are a little thin, so you may hear your fellow guests a little bit. Furnishings were good enough but not amazing. Still, overall a good place, good value, good location, very good service. A little tricky if you have a car, though.

Only one room key made it difficult for multiple guests to leave at different times. Only can lock the room from inside or outside with key. Not particularly safe in case of fire if you are locked inside without a key. No phone so requires cell phone to contact desk. Excellent location

Very nice hotel indeed. Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are small but perfectly acceptable with excellent aircon. They were spotlessly clean. Location is excellent - a few mins walk to the Promenade and maybe 15 mins to the Old Town of Nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé, près de la promenade des anglais, des restaurants, des commerces et des transports (tram direct de l’aéroport, gare à 15min à pied). La chambre est simple et fonctionnelle, bonne literie, salle de bains impec (le ménage était fait tous les jours). Le personnel a été très gentil et réactif, il y a toujours quelqu’un (jour et nuit) et ils font ce qu’ils peuvent pour nous aider. Ma note : 💙

Booked as a last minute trip. Very good price. Hotel looks newly renovated, room was immaculate and clean. Small but cosy enough for just myself. Staff are lovely! Tea and coffee facilities in the room, hairdryer, all you need for a little trip was included. Highly recommend this cosy hotel! I will definitely rebook when I next visit! Thank you

we were "upgraded" to a handicapped room. the bathroom smelled of sewage, the hot water, was only hot for a while and the bathroom was unheated. the hotel tried to remove the smell, it does not succeed. and we got a new room which worked fine, still with a cold bathroom. Why do you give guests a sewer smelling room? Not good enough

There was not much room left in the room for two people, and the shower was extremely small, but all in all a fair stay for the price.

Twin room was ridiculously small. 100 sqft. Shower in bathroom also small. Had to turn sideways to get in and the still too small for a normal size person. Staff was excellent and always so helpful.

Very nice hotel indeed. Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are small but perfectly acceptable with excellent aircon. They were spotlessly clean. Location is excellent - a few mins walk to the Promenade and maybe 15 mins to the Old Town of Nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was good . The only thing that i didnt like was the shower ! 2x2 literally , so if you are a big person , stay away of this hotel . 2 blocks away from the beach and many restaurantes around .

Spent 4 nights at the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. I stayed in Room109 at front of hotel there is street noise but not really loud. The room is small fine for single occupancy although classified as a double. Super clean. My only gripe was the shower cubicle this is a large room with the smallest shower cubicle I am not a large lady but I could not turnaround in this space and repeatedly stood on the drain cover which made bathing an uncomfortable process. Great location near the beach and walkable to transport and tourist attractions.

Yazid was so amazing, he treated me so well, i felt really safe and welcomed. He was really attentive to all my needs as a single women traveling alone. This hotel is a hidden gem. Amazing location in a neighborhood with lots of character. And wonderful restaurants nearby. But the most impressive aspect of this establishment is the staff, especially Yazid and Lucresia who were extremely warm, ingratiating and helpful. We recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Nice.

Let's be clear, the room was so expensive and not worth it. The room was tiny, but the location, OMG, it's right in front of the Les Invalides. No too clean, the old man working at night not nice, but the rest of them, awesome :)

Our stay at L’Alcôve was fantastic, the location perfect; less than 5 minutes from the beach and a short walk to the train station. The facilities were very well maintained and always clean. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning which had plenty of options and was always fresh. The staff were so helpful and always available, Yazid especially was so friendly and made our stay even better, he is an asset to the team.

Amazing location, 5 minutes to the station, 5 minutes to the beach, bars, cafes. So many local little places around. The staff was lovely, the room was cleaned everyday, so good to come back in the evening to a fresh, done up bed and bathroom. The most comfortable 3 days we've had.

This hotel is close to tram station (Alsacia&Lorraine) so It is easy to get from the Airport. It is just 3 block away from the beach. You can take a run in the morning at the long promenade. It have a small restaurant that I didn't use since there are plenty restaurants around the Hotel. Room and bathroom clean. Room service every day. Staff very friendly.

Hotellet är bra med fint läge. Frukostrummet är för litet för antal rum på hotellet. I morse när jag skulle checka ut tidigt fanns ej bröd till frukost utan man åkte till ett lokalt bageri och inhandlade detta. De har två frukost altenativ continetal och express. Continental provade jag första morgonen. Detta var ett skämt för 12€. Jag gick över till express för 6€ kaffe , juice och croissant. Helt ok

After recently staying at the hotel here are a few pro’s and cons that I hope will help future visitors. Pros, Staff at reception are readily available to assist and are always happy to help. Access to the beach is less than 5 minutes with the centre being a 20 minute walk. For adventurers you can take a no8 bus followed by a 601/600 to Menton, Monaco and Eze. There is also pizza take away shop 2 doors away that does GF pizzas. Cons, walls are paper thin, we booked a superior room which was supposed to be sound proofed, we questioned if we were in the right room but got told we were. Breakfast is basic but there are ample places to eat. Not sure if we had crossed wires on the 1st day but the bedding wasn’t changed during our stay and had to ask for toilet roll twice. Overall experience was good as long as you don’t end up with a noisy neighbour.

Loved this property. It’s charming and comfortable and has great customer service, nice breakfast and wonderful staff. Rooms are pretty small and shower is small, but water pressure was great. Walking distance to waterfront and restaurants.
