My partner and I arrived to Amsterdam early in the morning after flying in from Australia, so had a few hours until check-in. The staff member on the desk was incredibly friendly and not only helped with storing our luggage in their storage room, but also allowed us to freshen up in the gym/sauna area. He also told us about the up stairs restaurant area and rooftop, saying we could chill up there if we would like - which we did for a bit just to recoup after the length of travel. We were offered both water and coffee when sitting up there for a tad. Check-in later was easy and cannot fault any of the staff on anything throughout our entire stay. Always so friendly and helpful. The room itself was also great. We had the Murphy bed room, but just kept the bed down the entire time. Only thing I could fault is that it was a bit of a walk to the room from the elevators and through multiple doors that needed your room card, but really not that bad. Loved that we had a little kitchenette and could prepare our own foods if wanted. The bathroom was also a decent size. Location of property was really great with tram stop very close by. Not far from the airport, easy to navigate around using public transport and apps. Lots of other hotels around, and the area feels very safe when walking around, even at night. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning, which was easy to set up and pay for at front desk, and while a bit expensive, it was enjoyable and nice not to have to think about.

Hotel check in was convenient and welcoming. Room was a nice size and had all we needed for our stay. Only minor issue was the small number of electrical outlets in the room. Probably my mistake reading the room description but I thought a washer & dryer was in each room, but there is one washer & dryer servicing the entire floor. Took about 3 euros to wash and 5 to dry, not the most efficient machines but at least we got our laundry done mid-vacation to save in packing more clothes! Hotel is by a train station and connects to city centre easily, not much in the area for shops etc but a good launchpad to rest and train into the city to explore.

The little kitchenette is great. BEds were comfy and room was quiet. The hosts are very helpful and we enjoyed the rooftop restaurant and patio. Grocery store in walking distance. Super close to transit and we took that easily to enjoy the city core.

Front of house staff were amazing, cleaning not so, as cleaning items removed from our room and not willing to replace them when asked. Easy transport links to Amsterdam centrum. Clean and quiet hotel, very good hob extraction fan.

Das Zimmer war schön groß und gut ausgestattet, allerding hat das Badezimmer extrem nach Essen insbesondere Knoblauch gestunken! Der Geruch war sehr resistent und kam immer wieder - wahrscheinlich durch die Lüftung - zurück. Außerdem wurde vor dem Hotel ständig gekifft, so dass man jedesmal durch eine Rauchwolke durch musste. Das Personal war ansonsten sehr bemüht und freundlich. Auch das Frühstück war okay aber hier bitte nochmal den Kaffee "überarbeiten", dieser war ungenießbar und mehr als nur dünn.

Overall our stay was excellent. We enjoyed having a bar/restaurant right in the building. The room was clean and very spacious despite being a studio. The welcome package of dish tabs and other goodies was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable . The only negative is that the pillows were so large in size, it made them uncomfortable. Great option if you don’t mind commuting to Amsterdam central.

Nous avons réservé une chambre pour 4 personnes et avons passé 3 nuits au Cityden avec ma femme et nos 2 enfants (ados). L'hôtel est très agréable, bien placé près du tramway. Le personnel est efficace et agréable. Par contre, 2 choses nous ont particulièrement dérangé : 1/ le canapé lit destiné à nos enfants était tellement inconfortable que nous avons dû retirer le matelas pour l'installer directement au sol. 2/ personne n'est venu faire le menage pendant les 3 jours où nous sommes restés. En résumé, je recommande volontiers cet hôtel pour 2 personnes mais le déconseille formellement pour 4 personnes.

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Cityden Zuidas mit unseren Kindern verbracht und fanden es ideal für einen Kurztrip. Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch, und um die Ecke befinden sich die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Einziger Minuspunkt waren die Betten und Kopfkissen, die leider sehr unbequem waren. Das trübte etwas den Schlafkomfort, insbesondere für die Kinder. Ansonsten war unser Aufenthalt angenehm, und wir würden das Hotel für kurze Aufenthalte weiterempfehlen.

Monolocale accogliente, pulito e dotato di angolo cottura, accessoriato di tutto l'indispensabile per cucinare, incluso il forno a microonde e la lavastoviglie. La struttura dista 50 m dalla fermata del tram, che in 20 minuti porta in centro. Consigliato.

We stay XXL room for 3 prs, Room quite small. After open sofa bed, no space left. Room is clean. Close to Tram- (#5 & #25 12-mins to Zuid Trainstation where direct connect to airport (if no luggage). #5 straight into city center. No need to buy metrao/tram ticket - just tap your credit card while on / off the car.

Good stay with modern rooms including like a “tiny” home type of configuration where the wall has your bed (so you have to fold the dining room table and move the chairs and pull down to get your bed). Also modern kitchen with fridge… definitely a plus! so you can go to your nearby AH and buy some grocery food to cook to save money However, one thing, is that this place is about 30-40 minutes one way into Amsterdam Centraal (visa versa) from the tram (tram station is just right across the hotel (2-5 mins walk). There are other tram stops you can get off and on which can vary your time but generally that is the case as above.

This property was perfect for our family! Friendly reception! Maybe a 5 minute walk to the train station. Grocery store nearby. Nice to have the kitchenette (stove top, mini fridge, microwave, serving ware, utensils, pans & dishwasher) to make simple meals in the room. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay at Cityden Zuidas. The staff allowed us to check in slightly ahead of the check in time. The room was as advertised and well appointed, had everything we needed for a short stay. Wifi was fast. Location was peaceful, couple of mins walk from tram stop which would get us to Zuid station in 10 mins. Would recommend

We had a very good experience in the citiden zuidas. Staff was attentive and accommodating. Room is nice and all basic needs are covered. Location very convenient being very close to tram line that goes to the citybon one side and to the mall on the other. On site restaurant with nice view.

My partner and I arrived to Amsterdam early in the morning after flying in from Australia, so had a few hours until check-in. The staff member on the desk was incredibly friendly and not only helped with storing our luggage in their storage room, but also allowed us to freshen up in the gym/sauna area. He also told us about the up stairs restaurant area and rooftop, saying we could chill up there if we would like - which we did for a bit just to recoup after the length of travel. We were offered both water and coffee when sitting up there for a tad. Check-in later was easy and cannot fault any of the staff on anything throughout our entire stay. Always so friendly and helpful. The room itself was also great. We had the Murphy bed room, but just kept the bed down the entire time. Only thing I could fault is that it was a bit of a walk to the room from the elevators and through multiple doors that needed your room card, but really not that bad. Loved that we had a little kitchenette and could prepare our own foods if wanted. The bathroom was also a decent size. Location of property was really great with tram stop very close by. Not far from the airport, easy to navigate around using public transport and apps. Lots of other hotels around, and the area feels very safe when walking around, even at night. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning, which was easy to set up and pay for at front desk, and while a bit expensive, it was enjoyable and nice not to have to think about.

We had a very good experience in the citiden zuidas. Staff was attentive and accommodating. Room is nice and all basic needs are covered. Location very convenient being very close to tram line that goes to the citybon one side and to the mall on the other. On site restaurant with nice view.

It was very clean, secure, public transportation less than half a block away, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and in walking distance for an American to other food options and 2 grocery stores. Using the Tram only 20 minutes to the city center 10 ish to the RAI convention center.

We stay XXL room for 3 prs, Room quite small. After open sofa bed, no space left. Room is clean. Close to Tram- (#5 & #25 12-mins to Zuid Trainstation where direct connect to airport (if no luggage). #5 straight into city center. No need to buy metrao/tram ticket - just tap your credit card while on / off the car.

Good stay with modern rooms including like a “tiny” home type of configuration where the wall has your bed (so you have to fold the dining room table and move the chairs and pull down to get your bed). Also modern kitchen with fridge… definitely a plus! so you can go to your nearby AH and buy some grocery food to cook to save money However, one thing, is that this place is about 30-40 minutes one way into Amsterdam Centraal (visa versa) from the tram (tram station is just right across the hotel (2-5 mins walk). There are other tram stops you can get off and on which can vary your time but generally that is the case as above.

Loved the fact that the tram line 5 stop was next to the property. Made getting downtown a breeze. The office staff was very helpful - the room spotless. The only negative was the restaurant which was slightly disappointing. But there are so many great restaurants only minutes away. Overall, a great stay.

The overall aesthetics of the property was exceptional. Location was convenient to the tram by a short walk. My one complaint is that for an upscale hotel, they nickel and dime you for everything. In fact, coffee will cost you $1.50 per shot although we have a coffee machine in the room. When paying as much as we did per night, at very least, include the coffee.

This was a wonderful choice for our stay in Amsterdam. The hotel is about 20 minutes outside the central area of Amsterdam, but public transportation was very close and easy to use. Many hotels in the central city were over priced and small looking. This room was large and with kitchen. The front desk staff were very helpful (and even left a little Birthday welcome gift in the room on check-in!) The hotel restaurant was very good and affordable. Our next trip to Amsterdam, we will look to book this hotel again.

The little kitchenette is great. BEds were comfy and room was quiet. The hosts are very helpful and we enjoyed the rooftop restaurant and patio. Grocery store in walking distance. Super close to transit and we took that easily to enjoy the city core.
