Value for money for a one night stay. Very close to the tram station which takes you directly into the city. Rooms are bit small, but has everything you would need. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Free parking on the streets on the weekends, and good charging options too if you have an EV

Good on site shop with plenty of choice

I had previously stayed in Amsterdam South as the price of hotels is more acceptable with this being the reason we chose this one. The hotel initially felt a little far out but actually the tram made it really accessible to get into central Amsterdam but note the trams finish around midnight. I had stayed in an Ibis Budget before so I knew the rooms are basic but acceptable. My room lacked a table and seats, the second room I booked had them, so I am assuming it was damaged and never replaced. There was a self service shop downstairs but while convenient was a little pricey. We tried to buy hot drinks a couple of times but the English breakfast tea was never available after our initial cup. Also the cups supplied varied from size each and every time we asked for one, so some drinks felt better value for money than others. There is an automated pizza oven in reception which is a great idea, just a shame they were not stocked at all times as there were never any pizzas available when we got in late at night. Reception staff were ok, semi efficient but can’t say they were overly personable. They were all very young so maybe lacked the interpersonal skills a little

Qualité habituelle des ibis budget sur 14 étages. Équipe professionnelle et sympathique. Parking 15 €/ nuit . Pas de commerce, ni restaurant à proximité Station tramway 3 mn à pied pour arriver rapidement dans le centre d’Amsterdam.

Plenty of parking. Nearby tram stop to get into city centre easily. Console in lobby to order from a wide selection of restaurants. Would have liked a kettle in room though

Staff were nice on the first day and then became progressively rude after you checked in, the room was dirty with plumping pipes visible, and room maintenance was basically non existent (they didn't empty our bins, or make the bed, so what exactly were they cleaning?). The parking was absolutely terrible! The ticket machine was broken, and we prepaid for the parking, but kept having issues getting into the car park because it was allegedly 'full' when there were clearly spaces available. Seems like this hotel will just make people prepay for parking without actually reserving a space for them. Also, the hotel felt extremely unsafe. Reception was always unoccupied or the receptionists were chatting among themselves, basically anyone could just walk in and take the lift to the rooms with no issue. The back door also was never locked and you could just walk in whenever. The lockers to keep your belongings safe were also broken. Also, you have to pay a deposit to borrow a hairdryer, and if there are none available, tough luck apparently. Lastly, the receptionists straight up lie. We were told there was free hot water (it wasn't, you have to pay for it). Just ridiculous experience overall.

Prima hotel vriendelijk personeel lekker ontbijt alleen 1 min punt betalen voor de parkeerplaats en vervolgens was er geen plaats. Uiteindelijk wel geld terug gehad

Not the cleanest. Toilet cover was very dusty, room didn’t have a toilet brush. We had a room for three, but not enough towels were in the room. Very budget as there were not even shampoo/soap in the shower. Personnel were very sweet.

Check in nicht möglich im Uhrzeit wie angekündigt erst 20 min später. Dann viele fremde Haare in Dusche und Handtuch. Würde ich noch nochmal buchen.

Zimmer nur oberflächlich sauber. In den nicht so gut zugänglichen Ecken lag Schmutz und Staub

Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Oberflächig ist es ja ok aber alle Ecken schmutzig auch an den Fensterrahmen. Überall liegt noch Dreck rum ....Pistazien auf dem Boden z.B. Für den Preis ok aber ein echt gute erlebnis ist es nicht

Muito suja. O meu quarto tinha um cartão de transporte entre o lençol do colchão e o cobertor. Tinha Cheetos por baixo da cama e os lençóis estavam sujos. O banheiro estava imundo, muitos cabelos espalhados no box, no chão e no vaso. Tive que limpar tudo com lenço umedecido!

All was well overall however I found the cleaning was substandard, “clean” towels had long stands of hair in them. Daily cleaning was simply pulling the bedsheets on the bed.

Only a couple of minutes from the tram line. Amsterdam is a very connected city for public transport. Lovely staff, very fluent in English. The shower area in my room needs to be given a more thorough clean, but it was adequate for a couple of nights.

Unterkunft ist mehr oder weniger im Industriegebiet, Bettdecke hatte Flecken, Klimaanlage sehr laut, Fenster kann man nicht öffnen, gut möglicherweise aus dem Punkte Sicherheit führt diese Sache, aber in einem Hotel in Hamburg konnte man die Fenster zumindest kippen. Wäre mal eine nette Idee. Duschtür ist im Grunde sinnlos, denn nach dem Duschen war der Boden im Bad trotzdem unter Wasser.

Convenient place to stay with a tram stop close by, also relatively cheap compared with other hotels in Amsterdam, but the rooms are small, mine didn't have a chair or table. We had a comfortable stay which is good.

Pillows uncomfortable, no hairdryer available at reception, room too hot - unable to turn heat down

Stayed here for the Amsterdam Marathon. Was a great location to get into town easily with the tram station just a minutes walk away. Place was clean and the reception staff were welcoming. Breakfast was continental only, which again was good for what we wanted. Only thing is the layout of the trays/food/coffee meant for a lot of congestion in the morning. Only main issue was the air conditioning unit in our room was noisey (even when it was turned off) which for light sleepers like us was a bit annoying.

Lovely, clean but bathroom fan was noisy and ran continuously, air con wasn't effective.

The room was very basic and shower didn’t work

The room i selected turned out to be small and had no furniture or closets which you dont always get the best photos to see that. I never thought that was a thing. We just wanted a decent priced hotel room with a bed for my spouse and I and one for our child. That is hard to find in Europe. The key card had to be inserted into a device on the wall in order to keep the lights on when leaving. They didn't have washcloths at all but I bring my own because they are soft and Iknow most hotel towels are not. When i tried to get fresh towels from the front desk they didn't have a handtowel. We didn't want housekeeping to come in while we were there so i had to go to the front desk for everything as there was no phone in the room either. The only "chair" was this plastic stool thing and it was in the way so I put it under the sink. The shower is small as is the bathroom. The breakfast should have been free because they really don't give you anything better than hotels that offer free breakfast and you don't get anything warm. No toaster for the bread but 3 coffee makers. We ended up paying more because of the tourist tax and the parking. You can't drive anywhere once you park your car so no driving down the street for a late night pizza or gasing up before you leave.

Perfekt für junge Menschen ohne besonders hohe Erwartungen. Gestört hat besonders, dass es keinerlei Verstauungsmöglichkeiten für Gepäck gab. Der "Schrank" des Zimmers war in Wirklichkeit ein Bett. Auch die nicht abzustellende Klimaanlage war ein Minuspunkt. Ansonsten hat es ausgereicht.

Very very small room. When I put three adults, they shouldn’t book that room for three people .

Much much smaller than depicted in the photos shown on the website. Was ridiculously crowded and uncomfortable generally. When speaking to front desk, offered little to no help and said take it up with the website.

Place was perfect for the price. Staff werent overly friendly but very professional and polite. Location is a bit out the city, but its a nice place. Little park nearby aswell that is lovely. The tram in front of the park will take you into the city, with just 1 change but with public transport in Holland no need to worry over the change. Most we waited was 5 minutes. An uber is about 24 euro. Quite happy with our stay, only complaint would be the air conditioning is a bit weak. Couldnt lower the room temp lower than 20 according to the thermostat. But overall very nice

The hotel is not honest about its promises. I received an email encouraging me to check in online a day early, which promised a "welcome in style." However, there was no such welcome upon my arrival. When I inquired with the staff, they seemed completely unaware of what that "welcome in style" referred to. The room was very cramped, offering just enough space for our small bags, leaving us with little room to move. The cleaning staff refused to change our bedding, saying they only do so every three days. The woman who came to assist us, seemingly in charge of the cleaning team, was wearing earphones and didn’t acknowledge us when she entered. Instead, she brusquely stated, "I heard you need my service," in a condescending tone. As she made the bed, she continued speaking, either to herself or to someone on the other end of a call, and there was no friendliness in her demeanor. I believe she spoke a language other than German, which I understood. Apart from this - everything else was ok

The woman in reception is impolite and rude during check-in. The other receptionists are nice and helpful. No electric kettle/boiler and refrigerator in hotel room. Bed is comfortable

The staff

One particular staff (mexican guy, sorry I forgot your name) was super friendly and always eager to help. The others were not that bothered to be friendly or help. Unfortunately there was a mistake on their part with the laundry booking and the hotel did not do anything to accommodate and we had to leave the hotel without sorting it out.

Was very clean and cute and is a 1 min walk from the train station which is very convenient because it was easy to get anywhere in the city in 40 min or less. There's no drawers but there are hangers. Also the soap, shampoo, and handwash are combined into one bottle of soap.

Hotel was as described and clean. however, it was a lot further from the centre of amsterdam than described. It is a 40 min tram ride or 30 min taxi.

Little far from city center.

Clean, comfortable, basic. Room might benefit from Tea/coffee facilities and a couple of extra pillows. Smooth check-in and nice selection of drinks & snacks in reception area. Quite a bit out of city but train station (Kronenberg) is less than 5mins walk away.

Great hotel only a 30 minute tram ride into the centre

Hotellet ligger 15 minutter fra centrum, og lige ud til sporvognene, så det er nemt af komme frem og tilbage. Hotellet virkede ret nyt og været var ret stort taget prisen i betragtning. Sengene var ret hårde, men ellers meget fint hotel, især til prisen.

The IBIS budget is a clean and nice enough hotel for the money. It's nearest tram stop is Kronenberg. It's about 30-40 mins into the centre. We paid for breakfast which was continental and very nice. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was clean. Very basic rooms so no tea and coffee facilities in the room we had (906) and it did get quite hot. Aircon went to 18 degs no lower so bit hot at night. Only downside were the beds which we both found uncomfortable. There was shower gel in the shower. TV but no English speaking channels.

The breakfast at the hotel was very good ans a good value. Many snacks and food available at all hours of the day. Many grocery stores, restaurantsand pharmacy within 5 minute walk. Metro adjacent to the hotel and ride to city was very fast. Staff was alwaysvery helpful. Hotel always very clean.

Kleines aber sauberes Zimmer Ruhig, gute Schalldämmung Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal Mankos: Lüftung im Bad dauerhaft und laut Kein Fön Handseife leer und immer noch nicht aufgefüllt am 2. Tag Frühstücksbuffet könnte für den Preis vielfältiger sein (Ein Toaster wäre auch super)

Nos encontramos la habitación súcia y aunque en los 5 días después de "dos limpiezas" de habitación, nos encontramos con las mismas manchas en la mesa. No hay armarios donde guardar ni las maletas ni la ropa... El desayuno bastante limitado por el precio que ponen

The property is very clean, beds are comfortable and proximity to the public transit is great. The rooms are on the smaller side and the breakfast is not worth what you pay for it. At the rate of the rooms, the breakfast being offered should be included and not an additional fee.

The hotel is what it’s called-budget. No hair dryers, no coffee, tea or water in the room. Tiny bottles of very runny shower gel. No shampoo or anything else. There were snacks, coffee and tea and self service bar in reception for which you can pay with card only. Breakfast was very minimal and only cold food.
