Great hotel in a wonderful location walking distance to Old Montreal and downtown areas. We were disappointed that the heater for the heated pool was broken during our stay but the staff totally made up for it and were outstanding. The parking is hard to find/figure out so hope this is helpful.... You enter the garage on Rue St Hubert. You need to pull up very close to the garage doors for them to automatically open. Within the hotel there are two elevator banks but only one of them will talk you down to the P1 and P2 garage levels. We encountered so many others that like us took the wrong one to level 1 and ended up in no man's land. Other than the parking being confusing it's great with many spots and electric chargers.

Room clean great pool great breakfast great. Elevator from 14 floor pool didn’t work. Called front desk who put me on hold and didn’t pick up Took the stairs with my granddaughter and her friend. Sixth floor where are room was was locked. Walked down to the reception floor. Keypad didn’t work. Had to wait for security to let us out of the stairwell. 45 min to get down from the pool all in all.

Great hotel but the photos showing a historic building and courtyard are NOT part of the hotel, this is misleading. The actual hotel entrance is raised and on the opposite road to the historic building. Parking was expensive $28 per night. Staff and hotel was lovely.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The rooftop pool has no shade whatsoever and lacks any kind of bar/food service. Adjacent bar only opens at 5-6PM and it was completely closed during our stay. The rooftop pool tiles get pretty hot in the sun as well. Pool water had some debris in it and didn't feel very clean. Theres only one main elevator so it gets crowded and can take awhile to go up most of the time. The hotel could definitely use some finishing touches to make it feel more like it belongs to the range of pricing it's selling the rooms for. Small adjustments would go a long way to making the overall experience better.

Great room. Great property. Great view from roof top terrasse. Close to all Old Montreal has to offer. Unfortunately not enough elevators or any access to stairs. We had to wait a good 20 minutes to go down one story to be able to check out.

The property itself was nice, and it includes a rooftop pool with seating area, restaurant, gym, etc. Loved the location, with close proximity to tons of restaurants and activities. Staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. Our room was a little dark and gloomy, perhaps because we looked out on the wall of an adjacent building and we were one level below the reception area. We were there celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary so hoped for a little more. The reason I didn't give it 10/10 is because the signage is bad. Apparently there are two addresses for this hotel, and our navigation system only took us to the parking garage. It took quite some time, and a lot of frustration, to find the front desk, which is on an elevated street 2 levels above. A simple sign beside the garage would avoid this confusion. The parking garage could do with some exit signs too.

This was my first trip to Montreal. The Hyatt Centric was a perfect place to stay. Clean, updated, close to Old Montreal, and friendly staff! Would definitely stay there again!

It was fine. Quiet and relatively clean. Housekeeping could use some retraining- my bathroom had garbage on the floor upon starting my stay, and my bed was forgotten on sheet change day both for new sheets and for making my bed in general. I was provided an apology and some points on my Hyatt account equal to a couple dollars. Guest services seemed kind. Restaurant makes a good burger but do not recommend their cocktails.

Hotel was in a fantastic location—very easy access to the beautiful streets of Montreal as well as access to the metro. Beautiful amenities as well! Really appreciated the rooftop access. Unfortunately, the bed was quite uncomfortable which made for a more underwhelming experience.

Arrived after 9pm and out before 11am. Had a drink in the main floor bar- good service. Room had a coffee machine, no fridge or microwave. Bed was comfortable, but was on a platform that protruded from under the mattress and caused both my husband & I to take away bruised shins.

Hotel was very convenient since we wanted to explore old Montreal. Loved that we could walk everywhere. Clean and comfortable. Complaints: Hit shins on bed because it’s a platform that sticks out. The threshold into the bathroom is raised and I tripped over it multiple times. The room was VERY humid and had to blast the a/c so it wasn’t so stuffy. Biggest complaint is the stupid sensor lights under the bed. Every time I rolled over they would turn on and wake me up. They’re relatively minor issues on their own, but combined it was hard to relax properly after a long day.

Front desk staff were the best I’ve experienced. Very helpful, friendly and had great restaurant recommendations. Facility and rooms were very nice. Only downside was very difficult to find garage, but only due to surrounding road construction. If I return to Montreal, this will be where I stay.

The service was disappointing. I had booked two nights in a king bed room for a family trip. On the first night, we needed a room with two beds. The front desk initially said one was available but required manager approval. Unfortunately, the manager denied the request. After we had settled into the room, the manager called to say we could switch to a double-bed room, but only if we paid extra—and even though we needed it for just one night, we were told we had to pay for both nights. This policy felt both unreasonable and inflexible.

Overall a good hotel to stay at but the staff was not on top of managing bookings/reservations. 1. Right after we walked into our room another couple opened our door as the staff gave both of us the same room. They had to go back down and get a different room. 2. We extended our stay by one day and asked to keep the same room and were reassured by two people at the front desk that we wont have to change rooms for just one day and on the extended day they told us the our room was sold out and they have to downgrade us to another room. No apology at all from the front desk, just casually told us to change rooms without any acknowledgment of the inconvenience.

Check in was not smooth . Even though i pre payed they still wanted a charge on my CC. When i asked the front desk where this was written that a CC was required he told me the confirmation email , i gave him my phone and showed him the confirmation email . He could not find the "required" and pointed to the applicable fees may be possible. Again this does not say credit card required . Then he goes on to change his story that it was written when i booked on the hotels.com app putting the blame on htels.com. I had just gotten my CC stolen and was put in an odd situation where i was far from home and left embarrassed. The solution? 150$ charge on my debit instead of 75$ for credit . Was not a pleasing check in at all . Other than that the hotel was beautiful but i question the cleanliness as i found dog toys scattered across the room upon arrival... I dont have a dog with me . Rooftop pool was amazing , the included breakfast had limited selection, definitely went to get a real breakfast after the fact .

We arrived a bit early for check in and had to wait until the room was ready. We waited for over an hour, and when I double checked on the status of the room, I learned that the room was available—not that anyone had alerted us to that fact. Besides that “getting lost in the shuffle” of others who were checking in, the place was great—a good location (though a little tricky to find) to frequent the old city (which was our primary reason for visiting). The buffet breakfast, though a little on the pricey side, was very good also. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

Amazing property! Near Champ-De-Mars Metro station that gets you anywhere you really need to go in Montreal. Close to Old Montreal and all the fun shops! The staff was so accommodating and nice. Just so many good things For F1 fans it’s super close to the track. Amazing property and the room was très bien! Merci beaucoup!!!

I loved staying here! The breakfast was excellent and had a lot of options. The rooms were clean and the hotel was modern. They have heated roof top pool that we thoroughly enjoyed each day we were here - in 3-9 degree temperatures. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Montreal.

We had a great stay. The room was superb but the breakfast was disappointing. We opted for a simple plate of eggs and toast with a side order of fruit. The eggs were watery, bland, reconstituted. The garnish of sliced grapefruit was dried out. The watermelon slices were way over ripe and there was a grape with a rotten spot. Horrible! We will never stay at another Hyatt again.

Was not satisfied at all. Any requests We had took forever. Breakfast buffet was horrible. No food had to wait . When the food came it was cold. Not worth the price at all. There was construction noice that woke us up at 8am . Horrible experience will not return and certainly not recommend to family and friends.

This property is lovely, clean, updated, quiet and very convenient (within walking distance) to Old Montreal (shops, restaurants, etc.) The staff is friendly and very accommodating, and the on-site restaurant has very good food too. The bar on the 14th floor has a spectacular view of the city. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had a 3 day weekend in Montreal, first time to visit, and picked this location as it appeared close to the old town, the port, and lots of restaurants. Worked out great, easy walk into the Old Town, and along the waterfront too. Excellent restaurant and great buffet breakfast too.
