Front desk lady was so nice. Our room was downstairs close to the attached bar and grill where the food, drinks, and evening ambiance were excellent. Room was nice; spacious and pleasantly decorated. Property is about a quarter mile from the beach where we watched one of the best sunsets. Would definitely stay here again. There is no dedicated parking, which could be an issue during the summer. We stayed at the end of Sept when street parking was always available.

Old Harbor Inn was pricey for the condition and considering no pool or hot tub.They did have signs up they were doing renovations. The carpet in our room was fairly new, but the bed was horribly uncomfortable and the pillows were not like even having a pillow they were so flat. The room we were given was on the lower level close to the bar and was loud with doors slamming. The only nice thing about the place is it was convenient and within walking to the shops. I wasnt real impressed and thought it was pricey.

Stayed here during off-season for a work trip. Gorgeous view of the harbor. Rooms and bathrooms are small, but that is expected of an older hotel IMO. Hallway literally lets out into shops and opens directly to a bar and grill - could not be more walkable or convenient. The fancier rooms have a fireplace. Very quaint and the staff was very nice.

Unique lodging experience overlooking the Black River. Very nice room. Excellent staff service. In the midst of the historic district with lots of restaurants and shopping in easy walking distance. Only issues: next to an outside bar that plays music until midnight (at least on weekends). Blinds do not keep out the light very well. No dedicated parking.

No fan in bathroom. The room appeared clean. Bathroom had mold on shower curtain. Probably from not having a fan. It was in a very nice walkable spot. We could see the water. Balcony is super small. Over all for the age of the building it’s nice. Staff was very nice.

Overall, I loved it. The staff was especially kind and friendly. Lovely hotel, view, location. Only suggestions would be clean the balcony (spider webs, dead bugs) and have comfortable cushions/seating. The tv should be directly across from the bed, but it was a very comfortable and restful stay!

Lots of great things to say about this property. Alot of potential. Right price. Perfect location overlooking the river. But I can’t really recommend it at this point. Property is showing age. Carpet in room threadbare in spots and dirty. My foot was black after walking barefoot in the room. Various rough spots all over the premises. There are signs they are renovating. I’d wait a year until those renovations are over until I’d stay there again. If those areas are addressed, it will be such a great place!

We have never stayed here before but we will again! The room was clean and spacious and quiet. However, we went in April. 🤗 During the summer I'm sure it's a different story. Tons of shops and dining within walking distance (even right below us) There was a boardwalk that went around the Inn that you could stand at and watch the harbor. The beach was close, as was the lighthouse. It was a perfect little getaway for us!!

This unit is between the road and shops. There is also a restaurant/bar and a winery next to it which was loud Friday & Saturday evenings until 1 or 2 in the morning. This unit is on the end of the building and right next to the walkway so people coming and going to these venues were able to be heard also well into the early morning hours. The room and staff were excellent but I would not choose this unit with the spa tube again. We have stayed in other rooms in other buildings that did not have this problem.

We stayed in the larger two-bedroom suite. It was perfect for our group of six. The room was clean and spacious. The kids loved eating in the balcony and watching the boats in the harbor. There was a restaurant with music nearby but we couldn’t hear anything while inside the room.

We only stayed for one night for my husband’s birthday and wished we could stay longer. Excellent location, walking distance to many restaurants, shops, lake. A lot of restaurants are short staffed, so try to be patient. Super convenient Biggby location right there. Staff was friendly and informative. Clean rooms, vending machines onsite, books and games in the lobby. I guess my only disappointment was that the balcony was not private, it was just a standard long balcony for all rooms, not separated in any way. You had to leave your room to access the balcony.

Always a pleasant experience - this recent mini vacation was more of the same. we had some challenges that were corrected immediately by a very attentive and polite staff. The area is Stellar The views are Priceless - The rooms are Exceptional and all very unique - the price points are reasonable.I will always stay at Old Harbor Inn.

The inn is a quaint place with a staff who goes above and beyond. The lady who checked us in walked over to the building our room was in to show us the way. The room was very clean and had plenty of lights and windows. The room had a kitchen and couch with a tv and fireplace. The location is perfect right on the water and there are two bar/restaurants that are on the property which we were happy about since we went to dinner late. There is also shopping along the boardwalk with some really cute shops. We will definitely be back!

The location is ideal for visiting South Haven, park and walk experience. Loved all the views from around the building and access to great food/service. The staff at Old Harbor Inn was spectacular from moment of arrival to departure. Tracy was our first interaction and a purely delightful person throughout our stay. The cleaning and property management staff was also very good. We enjoyed our first stay at Old Harbor tremendously.

When we first arrived at our property, we had no hot water. Had to take a shower for our engagement photos so we were on a tight schedule. The staff was very accommodating and was able to move us to another room in a timely manner. Well done.

Nice, clean room, and friendly courteous staff. And the best part is the location of the hotel! It's right where you want to be when you visit the town. Perfect spot, everything you want to see is within walking distance: dining, shopping, breweries, ferry boat rides, a museum nearby, etc. Thumbs up!

I absolutely loved the Old Harbor Inn and Village. A couple bar/restaurant barges are right behind the Inn along with a handful of shops. Additional shops and restaurants are within an easy 1 block walk. The room was spotless and comfortable. My room had a spacious bathroom, a small kitchenette and a very comfortable seating area to watch TV. The staff were friendly and helpful. This Inn is a real gem.

I was impressed by this adorable hotel. It was clean, and super comfy. I was not impressed by the price. I suppose if there was breakfast offered, that would have softened the blow. But overall, it was nice and convenient. A morning walk to the beach was also a nice. We stayed in October and didn’t realize everything shut down at 7pm. I would stay again in the summer time.
