Econo Lodge Mayo Clinic Area

I have stayed at this property for many years, coming to Rochester for a flea market twice a year. I hadn't been staying here the last few times but not sure if there's been a change of management? The large hotel sign in from of the hotel was blasted out (a storm?) and the place felt tired. The black out curtain didn't work around the edges, the pole lamp was falling apart at the base, there was no lamp on the desk to work. The breakfast, despite the lame Christian propaganda next to the "tips" container, was still good.

The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel and very close to Mayo Clinic.

Clean room. Towel animals (Elephant, bunny) Nice staff.

I came to this hotel expecting less than perfect because thats how most Econo Lodges are. But this one surprised me by being almost perfect.
