Excellent location, USS Midway is just across the street. Love our room and full kitchen! Room is clean, we got awesome view of the bay and the pool. There’s restaurant/ bar on the 5F as well that is open until 11pm. Very satisfied, will definitely check in again on our next visit to SD!

Rooftop bar and lounge with pool. Parking available. Clean and spacious room with a dishwasher, stove, and fridge with freezer. They provide cookware, cups, and silverware!! Walkable to downtown, as well as other areas well worth visiting. Nearby restaurants and shops. Great views of the city and harbor. Friendly and helpful staff. The only slight complaint I have is the walls were a bit thin, so I heard a lot of activity during check out & cleaning time, esp bc I was right across from one of the housekeeping "hub" areas. Definitely not a big deal though. Overall, it was an excellent experience staying there!!

It's a nice property, located withon walking distance of several attractions. The downsides are $40 US per day for parking, and the breakfast buffet is repetitive and rather plain.

It seems like all Residence Inn locations have shortened their free breakfast time so we did not bother eating it, because we're on vacation and don't want to eat based on a schedule. The quality of the food has gone down at the least two Residence Inns we stayed at, and assumed it would be bad here as well. The bed and pillows weren't very comfortable, neither was the couch. Whoever was the architect of this hotel designed it with no quick access to the parking garage: you have to take an elevator to the 5th floor, then walk outside to another elevator to ride to the floor where you parked your car. Don't walk barefoot in the rooms, the carpets are disgusting and should be replaced.

Staff friendly and polite. Located very closely to Santa Fe station and a ferry stop for Cornado which is good since we didn’t have car. Close walk to little Italy. Awesome breakfast. Gym was small per husband but fine enough. Pool is outdoors and temperature regulated but didn’t feel warm.

Our stay was very nice! The only thing was the parking expenses were unexpected. It'd be nice if these hotels didn't charge for parking. We are already paying a lot for the hotel stay....I don't know why they also must charge for parking. That should be included. Also, it'd be nice if they had more options for Vegetarians included in the breakfast such as potatoes.

I did not like the smell in my room, it smelled like an old pepperoni pizza....maybe you should clean the curtains and shampoo the carpet. otherwise i enjoyed my stay.

Planned a much needed 7 day visit to San Diego to take in the southern Cali sights My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The entire staff was great, complimentary breakfast was a plus and best of all your location is exactly what we were looking for. Easy walks to the piers, Little Italy, Gas Lamp neighborhood and nice parks. Thank you for your hospitality and clean facilities.

This stay was just ok. Pros: family friendly, good view, good mattresses. Cons: Front desk didn't do what they said they would do with my car - I had hound them just for a valet claim ticket the next day! Carpet in room was dirty, furniture had weird gashes and scratches. It might be time for a reno.

As a family of 4 that has traveled quite a bit, I am beyond pleased with our stay. From the day we checked in to six days later when we checked out, everyone and everything was amazing! Every single staff member was friendly and kind and the entire hotel was spotless. This is one of the best hotel experiences we have had in a very long time and all for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about staying here!

Amazing location! You can't get a better spot. Rooms were just ok. Outdated and the kitchen was tiny compared to other places. Towels were super thin and we had to ask for extra towels and pillows but they brought them very quick. Kitchen cabinet was falling apart. Staff was great and fast

The two-bedroom suite was amazing, very comfortable and the views from the 16th floor were breathtaking. I traveled with my two small kids, my senior mom and sister and there was a bed for all of us. I loved that each room had its own thermostat. The service was great and friendly the atmosphere around the hotel/San Diego was calm and quiet. Parking was easy and safe. I have no complaints. I’ve Stayed here before and probably would stay here again.

Breakfast was good, although having it finishing at 9:00 am probably caters better for the business traveller than the tourist/vacationing traveller. But, it did get me up and going! The location was very good. I felt central and it seemed everything was either an easy walk or there was convenient public transport to help me out.

The front desk experience can make or break your stay. Lucky for us, James and the managers that checked us in were amazing, friendly, and professional! James especially was personable and welcoming! I loved that the hotel was pet friendly. Loved that ot was super clean. Loved the mini kitchen. The views from the rooms are amazing!

It was a reasonably nice hotel with courteous staff. Location far from many of the sights but fortunately the transportation was close by. Found the check in stressful as they had overbooked and didn’t have a room for my travel partner. Fortunately her plane was delayed until the next day which gave them time to find a room. Not appreciated given it was a pre paid room.

I liked that we could easily walk to the waterfront, go to Seaport Village, Little Italy, etc in just a few short minutes. It was also close to the Get Your Guide ticket office, which was cheaper than purchasing tours online. We had an amazing lady named Cassandra check us in at reception. She went above and beyond to welcome us, and even upgraded our room when she found out it was my birthday - thanks so much Cassandra!! I would absolutely stay here again!

It was very convenient to the port, if you are taking a cruise- right there. The Midway Museum is right there, the parking was great. Starbucks right outside. We lucked out to see a street food festival pop up one day right down near the water. Very clean, and good amenities in and around.

For me it wasn’t to “Marriott” standards. The room looked very old. It didn’t feel like I was in 4+ star hotel, especially the room, the suite. I felt like I was in a “motel” vs a hotel. Was disappointed that their sky lounge restaurant opens at 4pm to 9 pm, which I never got to use as I checked in at 4 pm and band dinner plans for 6pm. So I was like I will go tomorrow as I wasn’t leaving until 3 pm. Next day I learned it’s not open and will open at 4 pm. I wasn’t impressed. I don’t believe it’s worth $300+ dollars to be very honest as you will feel like you are in a motel (the room). Save your money and book another hotel.

Breakfast was soso, always the same overcooked scrambled eggs, etc. Also, and may seem a minor thing, but after a shower it is important, the body lotion container was minuscule and so stupidly designed that it was hard to get any out of it.
