Cool stay, no major complaints the only thing I disliked that wasn’t detailed upon booking was the ridiculous parking not only is it on a completely different building across the street/next door it’s also an additional $22 per night only for 1 vehicle so we had 2 vehicles & they don’t offer additional parking so we had to find parking elsewhere up the street. I’m a very experienced traveler & I’ve never experienced this whole parking ordeal I would’ve definitely booked elsewhere had I know this ahead of time. Overall tho the hotel was clean & the stay were nice

The parking garage is very difficult to access. The driveway off Forbes Avenue is extremely narrow. It is a true test of driving skills to navigate your vehicle in the pathway between the parking garage and the side entrance of the hotel. It is nearly impossible if there are other cars in the driveway. Each car is attempting to unload luggage in a confined area. Once the luggage is at the entry of the hotel, the guest needs to return to their car and HOPEFULLY find a place to park in the garage. The luggage is left unattended if the guest is traveling solo. The clerk does offer to leave the luggage at the desk under their watch, but it becomes challenging if other guests are checking in.

The room was great with the kitchen area. Breakfast was great! Room was spacious. Our first night there was no room in the parking garage so we had to park in the hospital lot across the street, however parking there was slightly cheaper than at the hotel.

Our stay was okay overall. They only had one elevator working, so it took forever to get to and leave the room. They were sold out this week. It was frustrating. Stairs are fine, but not with young kids who do not have the stamina to climb up to the floor in which we were staying. Housekeeping failed to leave us TP and coffee (wanted both each day, lol) each time they did a “tidy-up.” I always had to go and fetch these from the front desk, which never had both in stock. So inconvenient. They never left enough towels; 2 towels is not enough for 4 people. Beware that the pool now closes at 8 pm, and that’s barely enough time to get back after 5pm, go and eat, and actually have time to swim. Otherwise, the room was clean and most of the staff were friendly. Sadly, I will probably look for a different hotel when we come back next time.

Didn’t find out until arriving at the hotel that there was no longer any parking. We had to park 3 blocks away. The only place to this was parking three blocks away was cheaper than at the hotel.

I booked a king, only had a double. Only thing said was “sorry”. Wifi was to laggy, tv wouldn’t even play properly. Said breakfast, no breakfast. Said pool, no pool… under renovation… I am a general contractor, there is no renovation taking place visibly, it’s all open and just closed. Under staffed maybe, not under renovation taking place to render said services.

the wash room didn't clean up, it looks so disgusting. I called the front desk twice to ask them clean up the wash room(hair in tub, stool stains on toilet seat and in the toilet). After45minutes, nobody came to clean up. I went to the front desk to ask to get a mew room. The man didn't say sorry to me. just repeat and repeat he has asked the room service. and he gave back the roon card to me and talked to the unber eat delivery guy. after another 15, the Wash room got cleaning. I will NOT come back to this hotel again.

Location is amazing , hotel room is nice , new and spacious. But Staff oh my I’ve never seen a Marriot Chain with such rude staffing , only one lady was nice I believe because she was a supervisor , staff make faces , don’t look at you , I wasn’t even greed when I stepped to check in . Nice room but it was not clean , stainless applicies with grease fingers , stained linens , dirty and hair around the bathroom .

The staff was very friendly. While we were eating breakfast, the staff was attentive and cleaned up our plates when we were done with them. The batteries in our room lock died, but that was fixed very fast. The worker at the desk who checked us in at night was very friendly.

When we arrived at 4 PM room was not ready. Staff was not able to give us time that room would be ready and was very nasty. Made a million excuses about why it was our fault and our problem. Check in was after 3 PM. There was nothing they were willing to do to make up for the inconvenience of sitting and waiting for our room after a long day of travel. The level of unkindness was so unexpected!!! After this initial bump the stay was nice! Room was comfortable and clean.

Coming to the property I had just been involved in a automobile accident where my car was totaled and unbeknownst to me I was suffering from two broken ribs. Staff did everything possible to make me comfortable, answer any questions, and even walk out to the garage later on in the evening to hand select a parking spot when I thought the garage was full. Thank you everyone. I will return to the area and when I do I will choose yours to stay at.

They charge you $22 for parking but repeatedly sell the same 20 spots over and over. If you leave you will NOT get your spot back and may not get one at all. Hotel night clerk Marie is very rude and dismissive.

Overall, I had an excellent experience staying at Residency Inn Pittsburgh Oakland. I stayed there for a week, and the room was very well-appointed and comfortable. I especially liked the kitchenette with refrigerator, two burner stove top, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. It was nice to be able to cook a quick meal at your convenience. The hospital is a quick five-minute walk from a wide variety of bars, restaurants, and the University of Pittsburgh campus.

There's no place to park to check-in. It is nice to have parking nearby. Staff took care of requests. Breakfast okay. But no lactose-free option. Bed comfortable. Room big. Loved the view from the 9th floor. Quiet. Great location.
