京都旅行の最終日、主人の誕生日という事もあって、スイートルームを予約しました。といっても定価の７０％OFFで宿泊できたので、大変お得な一泊だったと思います。 お部屋は想像以上にすばらしく、一つ一つの作りが最高級なモデルルームといった感じで、使っているインテイリアも一流品、床材や壁紙等、どれをとっても住みたいけど手の届かない様な素敵すぎるお部屋でした。トイレも寝室側とリビング側にそれぞれあり、ありがたかったです。夜は先斗町に焼き鳥を買いに行き、お部屋で頂きました。どうしてもこのお部屋で食事がしたかったので。 鴨川が眺められるお部屋だったので、テラスに出れば床気分を味わえました。 一つ残念なのが、リビング横の和室外に設置された庭園風のエクステリア。これは灯篭が室内から人影に見えるので若干気持ち悪く、必要ないと思いました。 また、リビングのリモコンの場所がわかりにくかったので、メインを切っても空調が切れず、迷いました。和室にメインの空調のリモコンがあったのでびっくりしました。 しかし、全自動ドラム式洗濯機やアイロンアイロン台もジョウビされていて、加湿器や本当に借りなくても色々なものがそろっていて、正直びっくりしました。 フロントの方にはチェックアウトとチェックイン時しかお会いしませんでしたが、素敵なお兄さんでした！清掃が行き届いていることが、何よりも素晴らしい事です。 フカフカのタオル地スリッパも気持ちよかったです。 来年また来ることがあれば、一泊では無く二泊位したいです。 娘はホテルの間取りが旅行の醍醐味かと思う程、お部屋重視ですが、ここに住みたいと言っていました。 全国探しても、この価格でこれほどのグレードのお部屋は無いかと思います。 京都は駐車場が高く、提携の駐車場が無いのが本当に残念です。前日は駐車場所探しに2時間かかりました。今回は、駅の向こうに夜間18時～8時まで1000円で停める事が出来る場所があり、朝は近隣の40分200円の場所に停めなおしてチェックアウトしました。 また来年、是非同じ価格で宿泊させて頂けると嬉しいなと思います。 本当にありがとうございました。

Loved it. It was very clean, modern yet traditional. It even smelled soothing in the halls and lobby! Location was perfect for our needs. They do have a wash/dry machine - but it is a condenser-style dryer so be prepared for a long dry time. There are several walk-able laundromats in a pinch. Would 10/10 stay here again.

Excellent place to stay in Gion. Really nice location, convenient. Attentive staff but they will not get in your way. Nice bathroom with a Japanese-style shower and tub area. Very clean and nice amenities. Although no breakfast provided, they provide suggestions and a convenience store is right across the street.

大変清潔で気持ちの良い宿泊でした。靴を脱いで上がる段差のないお部屋で、1歳の子供も大変快適に過ごすことができました！洗面台も2台で広々と使えました。 夕飯は隣接の老舗水炊き屋さん「鳥やす」で。個室のお座敷が空いており、子連れも歓迎だったので大変おすすめです。 朝食はカフェ「京都祇園茶寮」の蔵出しパンモーニングを楽しみました。素泊まりスタイルですが自分達のペースで動けるのでとても良かったです。

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! If you want to stay in the Gion area, this is a great spot. Just a few blocks off of major shopping stores but near lots of little historic alleyways. Not the most convenient location to get to Kyoto station, but it’s an easy 10 min ($10usd) taxi ride. Lots of fine dining restaurants around if you want that, have to look a little harder for cheaper restaurants, but I had the best ramen a block from the hotel. The staff were awesome, the place was very clean and quiet and you can’t beat the location. Being right by the river is awesome too. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Gion.

Booked this room in Kyoto for the extra space and comfort, and was very impressed! Having extra room for myself and my Brother and his family to relax in after a day of sight seeing was a great call. It wasn't cheap, to be sure, but it exceeded my expectations and is one of my all time favorite experiences with a hotel. Sometimes it is worth it to splurge a little, especially with how small most hotel rooms are in Japan. The llocation was also perfect! Highly recommend!!!

This place has a ton of potential. However the stained tatami mats, small shower and outdated toilet were disappointing. The staff were basically paper weights with no customer service training. At one point our room had second hand smoke from someone indoor or outdoor smoking. Otherwise, Gion is the best part of Kyoto, and Rinn is perfectly located. Too bad the controllables were not better managed. This could have been a five star rating.

Absolutely stunning hotel. I was genuinely sad to leave. The room was beautiful and exceptionally well equipped. The standard was so high that I was guaranteed to be disappointed by my next hotel destination. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to return in future.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! If you want to stay in the Gion area, this is a great spot. Just a few blocks off of major shopping stores but near lots of little historic alleyways. Not the most convenient location to get to Kyoto station, but it’s an easy 10 min ($10usd) taxi ride. Lots of fine dining restaurants around if you want that, have to look a little harder for cheaper restaurants, but I had the best ramen a block from the hotel. The staff were awesome, the place was very clean and quiet and you can’t beat the location. Being right by the river is awesome too. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Gion.

Excellent place to stay in Gion. Really nice location, convenient. Attentive staff but they will not get in your way. Nice bathroom with a Japanese-style shower and tub area. Very clean and nice amenities. Although no breakfast provided, they provide suggestions and a convenience store is right across the street.

Booked this room in Kyoto for the extra space and comfort, and was very impressed! Having extra room for myself and my Brother and his family to relax in after a day of sight seeing was a great call. It wasn't cheap, to be sure, but it exceeded my expectations and is one of my all time favorite experiences with a hotel. Sometimes it is worth it to splurge a little, especially with how small most hotel rooms are in Japan. The llocation was also perfect! Highly recommend!!!

大変清潔で気持ちの良い宿泊でした。靴を脱いで上がる段差のないお部屋で、1歳の子供も大変快適に過ごすことができました！洗面台も2台で広々と使えました。 夕飯は隣接の老舗水炊き屋さん「鳥やす」で。個室のお座敷が空いており、子連れも歓迎だったので大変おすすめです。 朝食はカフェ「京都祇園茶寮」の蔵出しパンモーニングを楽しみました。素泊まりスタイルですが自分達のペースで動けるのでとても良かったです。

京都旅行の最終日、主人の誕生日という事もあって、スイートルームを予約しました。といっても定価の７０％OFFで宿泊できたので、大変お得な一泊だったと思います。 お部屋は想像以上にすばらしく、一つ一つの作りが最高級なモデルルームといった感じで、使っているインテイリアも一流品、床材や壁紙等、どれをとっても住みたいけど手の届かない様な素敵すぎるお部屋でした。トイレも寝室側とリビング側にそれぞれあり、ありがたかったです。夜は先斗町に焼き鳥を買いに行き、お部屋で頂きました。どうしてもこのお部屋で食事がしたかったので。 鴨川が眺められるお部屋だったので、テラスに出れば床気分を味わえました。 一つ残念なのが、リビング横の和室外に設置された庭園風のエクステリア。これは灯篭が室内から人影に見えるので若干気持ち悪く、必要ないと思いました。 また、リビングのリモコンの場所がわかりにくかったので、メインを切っても空調が切れず、迷いました。和室にメインの空調のリモコンがあったのでびっくりしました。 しかし、全自動ドラム式洗濯機やアイロンアイロン台もジョウビされていて、加湿器や本当に借りなくても色々なものがそろっていて、正直びっくりしました。 フロントの方にはチェックアウトとチェックイン時しかお会いしませんでしたが、素敵なお兄さんでした！清掃が行き届いていることが、何よりも素晴らしい事です。 フカフカのタオル地スリッパも気持ちよかったです。 来年また来ることがあれば、一泊では無く二泊位したいです。 娘はホテルの間取りが旅行の醍醐味かと思う程、お部屋重視ですが、ここに住みたいと言っていました。 全国探しても、この価格でこれほどのグレードのお部屋は無いかと思います。 京都は駐車場が高く、提携の駐車場が無いのが本当に残念です。前日は駐車場所探しに2時間かかりました。今回は、駅の向こうに夜間18時～8時まで1000円で停める事が出来る場所があり、朝は近隣の40分200円の場所に停めなおしてチェックアウトしました。 また来年、是非同じ価格で宿泊させて頂けると嬉しいなと思います。 本当にありがとうございました。

The hotel is located in a very convenient area in Gion and is easy to get to the subway station. The unit that we had was the standard one bedroom with two double beds and the unit was super clean, modern and spacious! My mom and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Rinn Gion Shirakawa. The amenities that they provided were amazing too, ranging from a water fountain, laundry machines and a microwave and others… super great! I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to travel to Kyoto!

Best hotel to stay in Kyoto. Central area. Walking distance to great tourist places . Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff were very professional and helpful. Booked our taxis, gave great recommendations for places to eat. Will definitely stay here again when I come back.
