Hotel Trastevere

All the staff at Hotel Trastevere are wonderful! They always made me feel at home and were very helpful answering questions and calling taxis, etc. As a tip, in advance, book your car from the airport through them. I was too late to get a ride in, but did book a ride back to the airport. the cost is 52 Euros and well worth it as the flat rate for taxis is 50 and they always try to get more. One thing to beware of is the noise level late at night, especially on Friday and Saturday as the area is full of bars and restaurants frequented by young people. The bed was comfortable. The shower was small You might want to bring your own sea sponge or buff puff. The air conditioner does not get super cool, but the nights were cool enough with the window open. The area is very walkable and it's easy to walk across the river to the old Jewish Ghetto where the food is really excellent! Breakfast was great! Selection of bread, croissants, cereals, ham, salami, cheeses, butter, jams, Nutella, juices, hard boiled eggs, and coffee made to order.

We did not stay in the hotel. We were put in a room NEXT building, very old dingy place. The photos were not of this building next door. The staff was very nice so this is not a reflection on them, but on the bait and switch of rooms. If they had shown the right photos , we would never have booked this room !

Hôtel très bien placé en plein cœur du quartier très vivant et typique de Trastevere. Le personnel de l'hôtel a été trés arrangeant car nous avions un soucis dans la première chambre qui nous fut attribuée. Cependant attention car l'établissement est un peu limite. Les chambres sont vraiment petites et certaines (dont celle où nous étions) ne sont même pas dans le bâtiment de l'hôtel mais dans l'immeuble d'à côté en semi sous sol. L'isolation phonique est très médiocre et l'équipement est rudimentaire (pas de bouilloire par exemple). Donc allez y pour l'emplacement mais n'exigez rien de plus.

Great location! The lobby and breakfast staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast, area, and staff were welcoming, cozy, and a great fresh selection. The remodeled bathroom was nice but the flooring (carpeting) in the bedroom needs updating but for the price as is we would still stay here again.

O quarto é simples, sem frigobar e com roupas de cama velhas (não tem nem edredom). Banheiro antigo e a água do chuveiro no máximo fica morna. Café da manhã bom. Funcionários educados e prestativos. Muito bem localizado em Trastevere.

Sarà colpa degli algoritmi ma due settimane fa sono stato in 4 stelle spendendo la metà. L'unico aspetto positivo è la tranquillità. Per il resto mobili anni '70, lo sciacquone non funzionava. WIFI lento. Colazione senza infamia e senza lode. N.B. non c'era campo per i cellulari e bisogna andare fuori per telefonare.

The room and supplies are very basic and not what I expected, considering the price . But staff are very nice and the area has a lot of great food options

Quarto amplo e limpo. Cama confortável. A localização é ótima. O box é minúsculo. Ficamos num prédio anexo, fora do hotel. Achei um pouco barulhento. A porta batia toda vez que algum hóspede entrava no hotel. O que nos assustava em muitos momentos durante a noite. Staff muito atencioso e simpático!

Hotel was clean and the room had ample space for the four of us considering main use was to sleep there. They are a bit dated, but everything worked. We had a TV, safe, wardrobe, AC. Was always cleaned when we returned from our days out Bathroom had been updated but compact. Towels , soap, body wash. Full shower, toilet and bidet, and sink We had a room on the second floor, used the stairs, but there is an elevator The breakfast had a great variety, and the coffee was so good, made to order. The area was amazing (major attractions all walkable, or alternatively easy access to transportation). Area itself had so many dining options deciding where to go is the problem. It does get a little noisy at nights ( two of our three nights were Friday and Saturday ), but that's part of the areas attraction, the night-life. We had no issue sleeping after long days of sightseeing, so the noise wasn't excessive. I would say no more than any other city stay would be. The staff really are the standout for this location, always friendly and helpful, would stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Rome in the future

Ficamos em um quarto no térreo, muito abafado, o banheiro tinha água vazando em dois pontos, porém o atendimento foi das pessoas foi ótimo

The hotel was clean, we felt safe in the neighborhood and Patrizia at the front desk was friendly and very accommodating.

Personalen var jättetrevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukosten var perfekt tycker jag, med gott kaffe! Tyvärr hade rummet vi fick källarkänsla och luktade mögel, förmodligen pga att det låg under marknivå med en liten gallerförsedd fönsterglugg högst upp. Kanske var det bättre en trappa upp. Läget var bra.

The shower stall was extremely small and the bidet was right in front of the shower stall. It was little uncomfortable showering.

This is the first time I've stayed in Trastevere and thought it was only 1 night, I could see myself staying here again. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the a/c was cool. My only critique is that the bathrooms are so tiny. I'm not very tall but at 6'0'' it was hard for me to sit down on the toilet without my legs touching the wall. And I had to walk sideways to get in the bathroom. But given the location and the friendly staff, I would consider staying here again.

I couldn’t have picked a better hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. Location suited our needs.We had a situation where we accidentally took our rental car keys with us from the Rome airport. They were able to return the keys the next day. We had to ask for a later check out due to banking business and received it. cheerfully. I would definitely rent from them again.

Hotel Trastevere is nicely located in the central area, making it easy to explore the city. Rommel made our stay especially enjoyable with his excellent service and warm hospitality. Will recommend this hotel to friends

The hotel staff was amazing. The entire staff were courteous, attentive, and caring. Pedro went above and beyond our expectations. The room was great. The location was great. The breakfast (croissants, meats, cheese, yogurt, toast, fruit, and cereal) was abundant. The cappuccino, coffee, and espressos capped the breakfast. We will stay here every time we visit Rome.

The property is in a convenient location and it’s well taken care of but the staff made our stay REMARKABLE!! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and everyone was so friendly. If we return to Rome, we will definitely stay there again, without a doubt.

Hotel bem localizado, equipe simpática.

Hotellet lå i en hyggelig del af Rom, med offentlig transport muligheder tæt ved. Mange af seværdighederne lå i gåafstand fra hotellet. Sengene var komfortable og der var fint rent, det var et stort værelse med udsigt til gaden. Personalet var søde, imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var fin.

The staff here are the best part of the hotel. They are so wonderful and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent with large, unlimited cappuccinos and the most amazing warm, filled croissants and other breakfast items. The location has to be the best in Rome… walking distance to the best restaurants in Rome. The ONLY criticism I have is that the room we had was close to a noisy street, although rooms of others in our party were very quiet. Would definitely choose this location again and again!!!

Everyone on staff was wonderful and helpful. We really enjoyed all our interactions with the staff. Olivia was vey helpful answering questions and even making calls to help provide information for future travel plans to different regions. The breakfeast was very good including the pistachio croissants. Clean rooms and well kept. Plenty of dining areas within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our time in Rome.

Hotel Trastevere is a perfect hotel for visiting Rome. We were able to walk or take public transit to all the major sites in Rome. It's in a fun neighborhood with lots of restaurants. The staff is AMAZING! Every day they made us lattes, cappuccinos, and a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend Hotel Trastervere! We'll be back!

Delicious breakfast buffet. Many restaurant options in the neighborhood. Extremely helpful staff at the front desk willing to help with directions, taxi bookings, restaurant suggestions.
