Enkelt och mysigt. Nära allt och smidigt att ta sig för den som gillar att promenera överallt. Vi bodde två vuxna och en tonåring i delat rum vilket gick utmärkt. Inget för den som är handiksppad och inte kan gå ett antal trappor upp till boendet.

Great location. Restaurant outside of entrance was excellent (service & pricing & taste). Be aware that you have to carry luggage up a flight of stairs to reach the lift( go to 3rd floor)then carry luggage back down a flight of stairs to access actual entrance to nightly rental area.

Excelente ubicación para recorrer Roma. Con las indicaciones que recibimos fue muy fácil realizar el check in y el check out. Siempre recibimos respuesta rápida. La habitación cómoda con todo lo necesario ylimpio. Lo único para tener en cuenta es que si bien hay que ascensor, hay que subir un entrepiso para acceder al mismo.

I usually do not write reviews. Owner not on property. It seems to be vrbo. Communication throught whats app. Which is very minimal even with app. Small elevator that sometimes does not work so be prepared to take your luggage on your own up 4-5 flights of stairs. Need codes to get in. Was not given codes until after I arrives ( i send text back day i booked that I would arrive at 10 am) and found someone from another hotel who helped me. The lady who cleans is the only one for communication which she did not know alot of english or know answers too much. Light breakfast good. Location good. Restaurant at entrance very good and friendly staff.

I’m sure some folks would be okay with this lodging, but it was our least favorite of the 6 places we stayed in Italy. The location was between restaurants in a very touristy area. Up three flights of stairs to a very small room. Air conditioner hasn’t been cleaned in awhile and was full off dust and smelled like moldy cheese when running. One positive was the car service that was waiting right outside and quickly got us to the airport.

The property is in a very intimate setting. Only a few rooms with a shared common area. The rooms are large with bathroom and cold air conditioning. The staff was wonderful, quite welcoming and very helpful. We felt right at home. The property is centrally located in the city center with plenty of shopping, dining and attractions within close walking distance. We loved our stay here. We would definitely consider staying here again if we travel back to Rome.

This place located right in the heart of Rome! There is a very vibrant restaurant by the entrance. The hotel consists of 4-5 rooms and common area for breakfast. Rooms are small. Our room had windows facing back with some construction. Other rooms had better vew. Communication with staff was easy and staff was very helpful.

Overall, it’s a cute B&B type property. The Trevi and Colosseum are decently within walking distance. Has a really tiny elevator to help you with your bags.

You need to know this before you pay this much for this stay! It is not a hotel and there is no hotel front desk or staff- no way to communicate in a timely manner The room is tiny- no countertops- no drawers- very little space- beds are like cots and low to the ground. We picked for 3 reasons- 1. Air conditioning- and it was broken during our stay in late May but they said “ you are welcome to use the fan we provided” not the same thing! They did discount the room For this issue after I complained. 2. Elevator- well there is an old tiny one that holds a person and 2 bags BUT. it doesn’t take you to your floor- only close. You still have to walk up or down a flight of stairs to get to your tiny, basic room. It appears to stop on half floors where there are no rooms. 3. Location - that was good But we should have never booked this place. It’s like staying in a hostel and we are grown adults - we aren’t college kids back-packing through Europe. Also room advertised 1 king and 2 twins. The King was actually a queen and all 4 beds were jammed together with little pace to get out in between. Bathroom small- no countertop anywhere. No shelves. So haul your luggage up to 4th floor (cause they call the first floor 0). Get to your tiny, cramped, hot room and try to sleep on your small prison cot. Oh and no access to cool water even for the breakfast- which is mainly cookies and juice. For e756 there are real hotels available.

We stayed at Residenza Sciarra as a family of 4 (2teenagers). The B&B is a little tricky to located, but the taxi driver knew exactly where to take us. The people who run this B&B were very good with communicating with me ahead of time and arranged both the pickup and drop of to the airport. I was able to communicate with them anytime through Whatsapp, so very convenient. The B&B is not manned, but all instructions and door lock codes were all provided to us. The B&B itself is SPOTLESS!!! They are excellent at cleaning. There is housekeeping daily, and towel exchange every 2 days. We never had an issue with anything. The breakfast is continental, with Delicious croissants, little sandwiches, yogurts, cereals, mild and juice and coffee! more than enough to get our day started! The location is absolutely the best and most convenient. Just steps from the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, and no more than a 20min walk anywhere else. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and many taxis available all the time. The rooms are what you can expect from Europe. A little snug for the 4 of us with 4 HUGE suitcases and our bags, but we organized and found our routine, so no problem. Overall, I would say the Residenza Sciarra is a good stay for anyone looking for convenience and a good price!

The property does NOT look at all like the picture. The place was dirty, walls weren’t even painted, it smelled, etc. When I told the owner we would not stay there and had to find another hotel, I got a smiley face emoji in response! They also charged us the full amount and then another $164 for some unknown reason. They will not refund our money. These people are falsely advertising their property and are terrible. Do not stay here!

This property is in need of serious maintenance. This was the worst stay on our trip by far. Entry door is so warn out the buttons work to let you in less than 50 percent if the time. Holes in walls, black mold throughout bathroom, bed was so old and used I was stuck sleeping in a hole than I could not roll out of. The safe was not bolted in, and as other reviewers commented there is no one on aite afternoons and evenings. The woman that works there is very nice, but the maintenance needed is way beyond surface cleaning. The food was all packaged and stale except for one morning that were were offered boiled eggs. Do not recommend, giant rip off.

Room and communal area was very clean and tidy. It was also very quiet and there was no noise from any other guests or surrounding area. The communication was excellent from the hotel in terms of check-in process and how to find the hotel. The hotel was in a great, central location - perfect for a short city break!

I don’t know how this property has 9.4 rating overall but it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed There was a terrible smell when you enter the hotel. There was a dusty smell when you turn on A/C in the room (probably they don’t change the filters!) Bathroom was so small, shower area was very very small. room was uncomfortable Wi-Fi was terrible, I needed to work sometime but, it was very hard. Breakfast was alright but just ordinary, croissants were not fresh. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The hotel is comfortable, central, and clean, albeit small. Me and my family stayed here for two nights. In that time we were able to visit many different landmarks thanks to how close the hotel is to mostly everything. The executive room is small, and it was a little uncomfortable for four people. There usually isn’t any staff present at the hotel, with the exception of the cleaning lady in the morning. Silvia was really nice to us, giving the hotel a warmer touch. I’d recommend this hotel for groups of three or less who are looking for a simple, clean, and well located stay.

Great location! Walking distance to all the major Rome attractions. Setup was nice for our room for 4 people. Spacious room and bathroom. Unfo. the beds were all a bit uncomfortable (bumpy) - luckily a 1 night stay for us. For the premium cost for 1 night - would have expected a much better breakfast, but no harm - there were some light snacks setup. All communication to hotel through email and text. No live person at the location. Hotel arranged to airport shuttle (but was double the cost of taking taxi).

There were three of us traveling in our room. There was enough space for us without being on top of each other. The rooms were clean and well taken care of and were well air conditioned for those hot summer days. The location was fantastic! Easy to access and near a good restaurant. We could easily walk to the trevi fountain, the Spanish steps and the Pantheon. Ourbhoat was kind, attentive and available for questions. Highly recommend. I would and will stay here again.

This is a tremendous B&B. The room was very comfortable with a good AC. Breakfast pastries beat many of the local restaurants. Great coffee and hard-boiled eggs fixed to order. Know that this facility does not have a person present 24/7–it is a B&B. The owners are very attentive and respond on WhatsApp promptly. It is centrally located with restaurants and shopping right out your front door. I would not hesitate to stay here next time we’re in Rome. A lively residence that meets all your needs.

We stayed at Residenza Sciarra as a family of 4 (2teenagers). The B&B is a little tricky to located, but the taxi driver knew exactly where to take us. The people who run this B&B were very good with communicating with me ahead of time and arranged both the pickup and drop of to the airport. I was able to communicate with them anytime through Whatsapp, so very convenient. The B&B is not manned, but all instructions and door lock codes were all provided to us. The B&B itself is SPOTLESS!!! They are excellent at cleaning. There is housekeeping daily, and towel exchange every 2 days. We never had an issue with anything. The breakfast is continental, with Delicious croissants, little sandwiches, yogurts, cereals, mild and juice and coffee! more than enough to get our day started! The location is absolutely the best and most convenient. Just steps from the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, and no more than a 20min walk anywhere else. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and many taxis available all the time. The rooms are what you can expect from Europe. A little snug for the 4 of us with 4 HUGE suitcases and our bags, but we organized and found our routine, so no problem. Overall, I would say the Residenza Sciarra is a good stay for anyone looking for convenience and a good price!

Communication throught whats app. Which is very minimal even with app. Small elevator that sometimes does not work so be prepared to take your luggage on your own up 4-5 flights of stairs. Need codes to get in. Was not given codes until after I arrives ( i send text back day i booked that I would arrive at 10 am) and found someone from another hotel who helped me. The lady who cleans is the only one for communication which she did not know alot of english or know answers too much. Light breakfast good. Location good. Property is in great location however there is no one at night to secure property and guests We had the worst nightmare during our stay. Guests next to our room got drunk and left their child in their room and they came back to hotel at 12.30 am and started banging and breaking doors of their room so their child can open doors . They didn’t want to stop even when we asked them to stop . They screamed their child name Brian out of top of their lungs no matter that they are in hotel and as much as we tried to tell them to stop they didn’t . They were even louder and louder and they woke up every guest in horror . It was literally nightmare they tried to break doors in and they didn’t stop. So our vacation was totally ruined The worst part none of the hotel staff was not available to help us or to protect us . We even tried to call police but as none Italian citizens who doesn’t speak Italian very well we could not do anything Staff never responded all night while we were terrified

I sleep on a memory foam mattress at home, this is not a feature of memory foam, it’s just an old mattress that needs to be replaced.

The housekeeper staff lady that was mainly there was so sweet and very helpful even with a language barrier between us. She was always so kind. She made us stay special. I dropped my keys somewhere outside as well and they were very nice and gave me a new one for €10. I would stay here again.

The wonderful lady in charge of cleaning the rooms and making breakfast was an absolute angel on earth. My mother ended up in the hospital and we had to fly home early and she was so helpful and kind. She went above and beyond at every single opportunity. I wish I had gotten her name. She did not speak English and I did not speak Italian but we made it work and she bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of.

This is a small boutique hotel. It is in a great location and you feel immersed in the culture. It’s not fancy but it’s very nice. Everything you need. Good breakfast with many pastry options and hard boiled eggs. Easy to walk to many historic sites and a bonus is right out the building front door is any amazing restaurant. I loved staying here.

The property was very convenient to all of the important sites. Good restaurants near it. Clean. There was one big issue- the shower. It was very small and had a seat in it which was very difficult to shave or even bend over. I’m a little human (5ft 3) and it was right. Also some cakes/cookies in the lobby that were the same (old) the whole 4 days we were there.

This property is in need of serious maintenance. This was the worst stay on our trip by far. Entry door is so warn out the buttons work to let you in less than 50 percent if the time. Holes in walls, black mold throughout bathroom, bed was so old and used I was stuck sleeping in a hole than I could not roll out of. The safe was not bolted in, and as other reviewers commented there is no one on aite afternoons and evenings. The woman that works there is very nice, but the maintenance needed is way beyond surface cleaning. The food was all packaged and stale except for one morning that were were offered boiled eggs. Do not recommend, giant rip off.

Breakfast was ok theres free tea or coffee and some cookies, theres a lady that clrans the dining. We didnt use AC becausr its already cool in Oct. Thank u Sciarra for letting us leave our bags before we go to our tours.

Excellent location! So close to Trevi fountain. The room was lovely and comfortable. The onsite staff who managed the breakfast room was very helpful and kind. When we had an issue with the air conditioner, she helped us by sending management a note in advance to say I would be contacting them. I think there could be a bit more communication from the management but we were overall really happy there.

This looks like a hotel but is really an apartment block with a small common area. Check in stayed 11 but the rooms were not available until after 12. The air-conditioning did not keep up in the small room with 4 people in it. The key to the room snapped in the door lock. It was concerning.
