Great hotel just close enough to all the major attractions but far enough away, for some relative peace. Staff were attentive, without being intrusive and always on hand, to answer any questions. The property is quite new, with modern furnishings and some nice artwork. The bedrooms follow in the same fashion, with crisp white bedding and comfy beds. The pool and bar area on the 7th floor is a great place to hang out for a hours during the day and a nightcap before bedtime. If the water pressure in the shower was a little better and the parking charges a bit less, It would be a perfect ten.

We absolutely loved our stay. The room was very comfortable. We loved the hotel bar with live music. The hotel gym was one of the nicest hotel gyms, super spacious with a lot of great equipment. We also enjoyed our brunch at the hotel the next morning. The hotel ambience was super unique too. We will definitely come back!

Pool area was dirty. No towels. Asked for towels and never got. Pool is shared with apartments. They had a large party there and we left. Very misleading. But staff was very friendly.

Great property at a great location. The room itself was lovely. Pool service was understaffed so the single person staffing it was overwhelmed. She did her best, but everyone was waiting a long time for drinks and food. The other night I wanted to eat there, but it was closed for a staff reception. Would have been nice to have been told in advanced the full hotel was not available. Given the high price point, I probably won't stay again as there are many other options.

The poolside restaurant had two bartenders and one waitress which resulted in extremely slow and inefficient service. Parking options limited and overpriced ($54 per night).

Loved the hotel. Be advised the pool is shared with a residence so fills up on the weekends. Also be aware that Ubers seem to be a minimum of $20 from this hotel to Downtown/The Gulch even during non peak times.

Really liked the hotel. The problem was that we went to go swimming a couple of times and paying almost $500 a night .. you would think that the pool would be clean especially after the amount of people that use it. We went down to use it the 5th and 6th . Black balls of hair in the bottom and very cloudy. Ended up not even getting in. Very disappointing, we were planning on spending time at the pool every day because of the 100 degree temperature . We loved the hotel and where it is. We will be coming again to Nashville this fall. Probably will stay somewhere else. Thanks, Mark Potter

This hotel is great. Convenient location and it's fairly new. Only a couple complaints. 1. After check-in we asked for extra pillows, towels and cups (both via calling the front desk and text). Also asked for a bathroom lightbulb to be replaced. We went out for dinner and when we got back, nothing. I had to go down to the front desk to get the items myself. Later I received a text asking how everything is. I said I had to get the items myself and also said the light is still out. The response was that maintenance will be called right away, but nothing happened. 2. Each day housekeeping didn't come by to clean the room until at 4:00-4:30, which is late.

The room was spotless. The bed was so comfortable we did not want to get up. Perfect stay

The decor of this hotel really spoke to me, and the amenities solidified my my decision to book. The reception staff were very helpful, polite, and professional. I valet my car to the sum of $50 which I felt was rather steep, but they were professional and well mannered. The room was clean, well layer out with upscale finishings. The mattresses could be flipped, or rotated, as I did find there were some sunken spots. The blackout curtains were excellent, and the room was very quiet. The bathrobe fell short as they were rough to the touch. The breakfast was excellent. There were maybe four other diners at the time of seating but the service was a let down. My waitress could not get away from my table fast enough it seemed. As I mentioned earlier, a large reason for booking this stay was the amenities. They have a very large workout area and that is hard to come by. I was very impressed by the gym’s offerings until the clouds parted ways and the sunshine filled the room and revealed just how filthy the gym was. There is no way it has been cleaned in weeks. Hair everywhere. Dust in every corner of the room, surrounding all the equipment. Hair on all the mats. Dust caked onto all the ceiling vents. Needless to say my workout was cut short. This is a shared gym with the residents of the building but that is no excuse for the condition of the gym. I had plans to swim after my workout but decided to pass. I hope this review helps improve the guest experience for others.

Property was very clean and in an excellent location .pool was lovely as was the staff . Would certainly stay again .

Extremely loud and poorly designed rooms! We were able to sleep 1 out of 4 nights. While this is not the hotels fault, we had extremely rowdy partiers in the room beside us. There is absolutely no soundproofing between the rooms, and the high ceilings and concrete design cause every noise to echo. We might as well be sharing a room - we heard every convo, every time a text messaged dinged and the real pain was blaring music until 4 am. We phoned down every night and security were useless in helping rectify the situation and urged us not to get involved directly. The hotel offered for us to switch rooms but they didn’t have the same room type available. In hindsight we would have taken the pool loungers, we would have had a better sleep out there. We were not able to get a refund as the room was booked through Expedia. This absolutely ruined our vacation, as we ended up sleeping during the days. The property is nice, and convenient with great options walking distance around it. But boy, the wrong guests will ruin your stay. It’s too bad that the room was designed so poorly, and the staff aren’t willing to advocate for their guests. We will not return.

Problems with the thermostat/heater/are conditioning. One can never know whether temps in the room will be based on the settings. The water pressure is very low. The room ceilings are not finished but are left "raw" without paint or other covering.

TV and phone didn’t work. Fixtures a bit cheap & run down. $25 destination fee gad to be used on food/drink tab.

Great property with very friendly and helpful staff. Not walking distance to the major sites, but Uber was easy and not expensive. You cannot turn off the fan in the bathroom which drove us a bit nuts, so we kept the bathroom door closed. Elegant, fun, hip vibe and would stay there again.

The Rooms are gorgeous. The city view rooms are definitely worth the extra few dollars. The showers are AMAZING! Rainfall shower heads with shiplapped floors. And the staff was excellent. I will be staying here again.

My only complaint is that the air conditioning did not keep the room as comfortable as we would have liked it. Otherwise, awesome property. Would stay there again.

The lighting in the room was terrible

Nice room design but lighting was bizarrely inadequate. In this era of energy efficient lighting not sure why a new-ish hotel would skimp on lighting… Other than lighting the hotel was absolutely fine.

We had a weekend stay in this business class hotel. We had a quiet room that was spacious and wonderfully appointed. Very quiet for a pre-Christmas weekend.

The absolute sweetest and kindest staff I’ve ever experienced! So helpful and genuinely caring to make my stay easy. I’ve traveled often for work and this was one of the best I’ve had. Looking forward to next time!

If I could give Yakima at Fraye Nashville six stars, I would. From the moment we arrived, to the time we checked out, she provided remarkable service with a wonderful attitude. Give her a raise, promotion AND extra vacation days. Bellísimo!

Must be short on staffing (7th floor and downstairs), housekeeping inconsistencies, loud neighbors which the front desk and security team did not address.

The Valet Parking people went above and beyond for guests.

Front desk staff were superb and accommodating to our requests. Cannot say enough about how wonderful they were.

The staff of this property really did not match the overall quality of the property itself in terms of finish and furnishings. The staff often blamed computers for issues. Some staff seemed indifferent and unfriendly. I witnessed guest outbursts over getting poor service at the front desk. House keeping came so late in the day my first day, I turned them away (5 pm) and had to request service the next day. The pool was the highlight.

The lobby and bar options as well as nearby food and bars was good. Walking distance to Broadway ( 1mi ) but not always the safest. The only issues had were the staff. No options for later checkouts ( even for a Hilton Diamond ) and they over charged me even though I bought on Expedia they levied fees and a room upgrade charge which I didn’t receive. ( still disputing it ). Started well and the stay was good - just sort of screwed it up in the last day and checkout. Wouldn’t stay again.

Very cool hotel and it felt like a boutique hotel experience. Really lovely. It was a little walk down broadway but we found the neighborhood really cool and great dining options. Would come back again and loved the evening music in the bar lobby. Staff was excellent; especially Jean Paul. He was so helpful and lovely.

The Hotel Fraye has a lot going for it. The location is excellent—close to everything you’d want to do in Nashville—and the property itself is stunning, new, and very comfortable. The design feels fresh and upscale, which makes for a great first impression. That said, there were a few downsides that kept the experience from being perfect. The front desk staff wasn’t very attentive; on our second morning, we had to wait about five minutes before anyone came to help us. In our room, the cabinet door that should have covered the fridge was missing, which made the space feel a little unfinished. The on-site restaurants all closed at 10 p.m., no room service was offered, and I was surprised to be charged for a late checkout as a Hilton Honors member—something I didn’t agree with. Overall, it’s a beautiful, comfortable hotel in a prime spot, but the service and amenities could use some fine-tuning to match the level of the property itself.

Cool design but they lack professional service. Waited 40 min for Valet - poor staffing. Dry cleaning took 2 days to return. They text you to identify issues but then do not follow thru or text. Breakfast staff and food are exceptional! Clean rooms.

Our stay didn't start off too well due to the location of our room but I would like to give a huge shoutout to the GM of this location for taking such good care of my husband and me by helping us move into the new room and providing the necessary info for the price adjustment. The hotel is beautiful and the location near Vanderbilt University is great.

Best location in the city! We loved staying in midtown and being able to walk to local places. The hotel was lovely and the musician playing in the lobby on Tuesday was incredible!

The staff were great, the room was excellent, had some very interesting and nice touches such as the bathroom nightlight was motion activated, so it didn’t shine light under the bathroom door like most places I’ve stayed, little things like that made the experience very worthwhile. It wasn’t a great location

We wanted to be fairly close to the action on Broadway. Hotel Fraye is close enough to walk but far away enough to have a calm surroundings. It rained all day Saturday so we did end up taking an Uber to the Bridgestone Arena.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. A bit far from Broadway, a quick 12.00 lift/ uber. That being said it was also nice being away from hustle and bustle.

Easy to get in and out of this hotel, not too far away from the broadway strip, but also a lot nice restaurants and bars right outside the door of the hotel.

Great stay I would highly recommended it and stay there in the future. The only downfall was the lobby bar had odd hours and closed early. Also the charge to get late checkout was a bit pricey compared to other properties I have stayed.

This property is fabulous, made even better by the staff, that are so friendly and engaging, food and cocktails were great. Already planning to come back here next year, can’t say enough good things about it.

The staff at the front desk was not the friendliest upon check-in. I felt I was bothering them when I asked a question. Upon checkout, the service was better. Not impressed with the food. Dinner options at the restaurant are okay if you are in a pinch. Breakfast service and the food was a big disappointment. The omelet was bland, and it did not include anything else. My son ordered the chicken tenders and fries. The chicken was chewy and dry.

The hotel looked new and was well decorated, but there was very low lighting in the public spaces as well as the room, which made reading, applying makeup and even packing difficult. The restaurant hours as well as the open seating were limited. Sections were closed for no apparent reason. The staff were efficient, but not customer-driven. In fact, several times we felt like we were an imposition when we asked for a table or to have our car brought up by the valet. Bottom line: I wouldn't stay there again.

There was not a good variety on the lunch and dinner menus. Breakfast was good but not the same for other meals. Music on the rooftop was great but service left a lot to be desired. They need more bartenders at the rooftop bar and more friendly and courteous staff there.

Room was great, housekeeping was top notch. Bar staff could bit friendlier, often felt they were annoyed with questions/orders. Restaurant is limited on Sunday/Monday.
