The hotel is located literally next to the train track. So convenient location when you are getting off the train or catching the train. The room was decent. The bed was comfortable. We had the view of the flowing river from our bedroom and it was nice. The breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly. We were able to leave our luggage with them and visit Machu Picchu and collect our luggage later in the day before our train. There are mainly two reasons why I took away a star. This could be a problem with the room we got or with all rooms. First, there is no safe in the room. Second, some of the switches are at the entrance but not near the bed. I have to go all the way at the entrance to switch off the fan. I am being picky but it’s just something which I haven’t had issues with some of the other hotels so I expect it to be like that. I wouldn’t not recommend this hotel for those reasons but compared to other hotels which I have stayed this was not the top one in Peru.

Excellent location, nice and clean, very nice bed and bathroom. Our room had a balcony. Only two rooms have balconies. The only feedback is that they do not refill tea bags in the reception late in the day.

Ótima localização, quartos razoavelmente espaçosos. Melhor banho da viagem. O café da manhã é simples, mas prepara bem para um dia de subidas e caminhadas em Machu Picchu! Ponto negativo: o check-out às 10h. Muito cedo e impede àqueles que visitam nas primeiras horas da manhã o monumento possam tomar banho e descansar antes do trem de volta. De todo modo, oferecem a guarda de bagagem e uso das áreas comuns.

El hotel es muy lindo en un ligar cerca de la estación del tren y todo es muy conveniente ahi. No tiene restaurante pero a dos locales hay una pizzeria sumamente buena, la atenci[on del personal fue buenisima, incluso nos dieron una habitación antes del check in para poder dejar nuestras pertenencias e ir a conocer el pueblo

Hotel limpo, confortável, bem localizado. Funcionários simpáticos, atenciosos, gentis. Boa estrutura. A única coisa que achei é que falta blackout na janela. Como iriamos entrar em Machu Pichu no primeiro horário o fato de não ter blackout não nos atrapalhou até nos ajudou a acordarmos. O café da manhã também está disponível a partir das 5 h da manhã o que também é bom para quem vai acordar cedo. Após o passeio na cidadela e o almoço ficamos no hall do Hotel esperando o horário do nosso trem de retorno para Cuzco. Este hall é super confortável com poltronas, água, chá, locais para carregar o celular, banheiro amplo. Eu recomendo.

Nos encantó el recibimiento y el servicio del equipo, al llegar nos dieron un upgrade a una habitación Jr. Deluxe con vista al rio. La habitación fue limpia, amplia, iluminada, con todo lo necesario para una estadía súper cómoda. El baño muy cómodo, limpio y equipado. La ubicación es perfecta. The staffs were friendly and the room was clean. There were many options for breakfast. The location was great, close to the train station and bus station to Machu Picchu, only a few minutes walk. The only downside was that our room was right next to the train track, so it was a bit noisy throughout the day. You could hear the announcement from the train station all day long. Other than that, everything was great! I would recommend this hotel.

The location was convenient. It's a short walk from the train station and the bus to Machu Picchu. There are many restaurants close by. The noise from the train is very loud. In addition to the train running right outside the hotel, you can hear the loudspeakers at the train station late at night. They should do a better job soundproofing the room. I recommend paying extra for a room on the opposite side of the hotel facing the river. It's definitely worth it to avoid the train noise. I wish we would've done that. The room got pretty hot at night even though there was a ceiling fan. It would've been better if there was A/C. In typical Peru fashion you can't flush toilet paper.

Casa Andina was the best hotel on our Peru trip. We had a room with river view so the train didn’t bother us at all. We also had a table and 2 chairs at the panorama window. It was beautiful to watch and listen to the river. The staff was very attended. And the breakfast was great. We would stay there again if we’d ever go back.

Convenient for Machu Picchu train and bus. Large room with clean and basic bathroom. Decent breakfast with very friendly staff. We arrived an hour before check-in and were told that dropping our bags in the room would cost us $10. Empty rooms were available because we got one after a lengthy discussion — we were already paying for another Casa Andina in Cusco. This seemed unnecessarily greedy of the company. Especially, since the price of the room was already high for middle of the week during an off season.

After initial issues with outside noise and a move to a room far from the noise, I was given an updated modern room plus a complimentary dessert plate as a gesture acknowledging my troubles. The hotel is very convenient near the central Plaza de Armas where there is nightly free entertainment plus many shops and restaurants.

It was great, the personnel was very nice. Patty from the reception helped us on giving us a room far from the train noise and with an amazing balcony and view of the river and mountain. Hotel limpo, confortável, bem localizado. Funcionários simpáticos, atenciosos, gentis. Boa estrutura. A única coisa que achei é que falta blackout na janela. Como iriamos entrar em Machu Pichu no primeiro horário o fato de não ter blackout não nos atrapalhou até nos ajudou a acordarmos. O café da manhã também está disponível a partir das 5 h da manhã o que também é bom para quem vai acordar cedo. Após o passeio na cidadela e o almoço ficamos no hall do Hotel esperando o horário do nosso trem de retorno para Cuzco. Este hall é super confortável com poltronas, água, chá, locais para carregar o celular, banheiro amplo. Eu recomendo.

The hotel is located literally next to the train track. So convenient location when you are getting off the train or catching the train. The room was decent. The bed was comfortable. We had the view of the flowing river from our bedroom and it was nice. The breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly. We were able to leave our luggage with them and visit Machu Picchu and collect our luggage later in the day before our train. There are mainly two reasons why I took away a star. This could be a problem with the room we got or with all rooms. First, there is no safe in the room. Second, some of the switches are at the entrance but not near the bed. I have to go all the way at the entrance to switch off the fan. I am being picky but it’s just something which I haven’t had issues with some of the other hotels so I expect it to be like that. I wouldn’t not recommend this hotel for those reasons but compared to other hotels which I have stayed this was not the top one in Peru.

The location was convenient. It's a short walk from the train station and the bus to Machu Picchu. There are many restaurants close by. The noise from the train is very loud. In addition to the train running right outside the hotel, you can hear the loudspeakers at the train station late at night. They should do a better job soundproofing the room. I recommend paying extra for a room on the opposite side of the hotel facing the river. It's definitely worth it to avoid the train noise. I wish we would've done that. The room got pretty hot at night even though there was a ceiling fan. It would've been better if there was A/C. In typical Peru fashion you can't flush toilet paper.

Al hacer check in la habitación no estaba limpia por lo que tuvimos que esperar. El personal no nos explico sobre el desayuno y se nos cobro un fee que no estaba estipulado al momento de la reserva. Desde las 3:00am se escuchaban ruidos de cajas y al estar cerca del lobby desde las 5:00am se escuchaba el ruido de todas las personas. El desayuno no era bueno. En fin, no lo recomiendo.

Casa Andina was perfect for our three night stay in Aguas Calientes. We had a river view room and it was spacious and a pleasant place to be after our day trips to Machu Picchu. The buffet breakfast is wonderful, the staff very friendly, and the whole hotel is very clean!

Property is good choice for overnight stay. Room was clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that my standard room was inside with window facing internal corridor. Right next to elevator means you get noise but at least I didn’t hear the train. Booked at last minute so was expensive for what I got. Staff excellent/helpful. Overall hotel meets 3 star rating.
