Hotel communal areas very nice however bedroom was very dated. Cannot use pool on day of departure, we were turned away with a little boy in tears. First I've ever heard of this rule across the world especially when this is meant to be a magical place with a premium price.

Vi havde i og for sig et fint ophold, med billetter til parkerne og halvpension. Poolen var dog lukket pga renovering, værelserne og hotellet generelt var godt slidt. Vi var så uheldige at få et værelse i modsatte ende end receptionen, og der var virkeligt langt at gå. Grundet efterår/vinter halvåret her i starten af oktober var aircondition slået fra, det var i hvert fald deres svar i receptionen. Morgenmaden var tilgengæld god, og meget lækre croissanter. Overnatningen var overordnet fint, men ikke værd at betale ekstra for fremfor Cheyenne hvor vi boede sidst.

Some of the staff in bar in the Newport did not seem very tolerant of children which is really surprising since this is a Disney hotel and we were made to feel very uncomfortable daring to spend time here with our 2 children. The rooms were loud and not soundproofed, the shower was awful. The pool was great. This hotel is fine, we stayed at the sequoia first which was cheaper and much better.

Fabulous, over the top experience!! We got in late and our room wasn’t available for some reason. So we were UPGRADED to the most beautiful, huge suite! The pool was 86degrees and so unique! Had a hot tub and baby pool if needed. Jordan, the concierge, was beyond helpful. Gave us a bag for our wet swimsuits, walked us to the ice AND water machines that we couldn’t find (kind of hidden) and showed us the hotel perfume spray, which we purchased. Buylaine in the gift shop also went above and beyond at helping us get the Disney characters out of their HUGE pkg so we could take just them on the train and not the whole big box. Took her 10+ min, but she did it all and with a smile. Then gave my son a little extra treat for him counting all the characters!! Could NOT have been a better experience!! Will definitely book here again when we come back to Disneyland Paris ☺️

Hotel is really lovely, huge so it can be a trek to your room, we ate and drank in the bar area a few nights and that was lovely, it’s the perfect location for the parks, just a little walk around the lake and you’re there, the shop inside was great, we will be back

Great looking hotel within good walking distance from the park. Check in wasn’t brilliant or easy though. Despite completing the online checkin in advance, we still had to queue quite a while. Told we’d get a text by 3pm with our room number but that didn’t arrive until 5ish. Then we had to queue again in the same queue later to pick up the key. Plus an hour wait for luggage to get to the room. Hotel was ok, dated bathrooms and rooms and general areas. Long walk to rooms and busy lifts at peak times. Pool was ok but outside one was closed when we were there. Overall like a 6/10 and not best value for money. I did like that the characters came to reception but I wasn’t sure when or who was coming so it was just luck that we saw Mickey there. Didn’t really eat there so can’t comment on the food but had some nice drinks in the bar that weren’t too unreasonable.

The hotel room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was spotless with a very powerful shower over the bath. The bed was very comfortable and our room was in a very quiet part of the hotel. Facilities within the hotel were great and the indoor/outdoor swimming pool was available if you needed a break from the parks. Overall we had a very great stay at this hotel and the staff were attentive and pleasant every time we interacted with them.

Such a convenient location with the parks a lovely 10 min stroll around the lake. The hotel is huge with great restaurants and the added bonus of a fabulous pool, jacuzzi and sauna to ease those aching feet!

We have been staying here for many years (around 30!) and it is usually our hotel of choice when visiting Disneyland Paris but, sadly, the hotel is now badly in need of renovation. The public areas are fine but the rooms are tired, dirty and rundown. The enamel bath was rusty. Grouting around the tiles is brown. Gaps in the skirting and around the toilet. Given the lovely refurbs the New York and Disneyland Hotel have had, this resort needs some serious TLC.

We had two expensive rooms for three nights and one of them had actual blood drops on the bathroom floor and on the light switches. The staff came back to do a “deep clean” and still left blood on the light switch. Was someone murdered in our room? Did the maid have a severed limb? This entire property smells like a diaper. The beds are hard the pillows are foamy. You can hear through the walls and the employees are generally apathetic and seem unhappy. The food in the restaurants is mediocre. We tried to get our money back and cancel the third night but Disney said no and blamed Expedia then Expedia blamed Disney. This went on and on with no one taking responsibility for our unhappiness. We left early and booked another hotel. Also there was a bee in our room.

The room is nice, very clean, good shower, confortable bed, big TV (though we never use them), but I got an "Upgrade" to my reservation, a room with lake view. Of course we accepted when were checking-in, but the BIG BAD SURPRISE we noticed only at night: the room (n 8249 - compass club) is close to the elevators (lots of them!) and they are VERY noisy! the cables dangling, doors opening, people coming in and out. Impossible to sleep. For our luck, we had antinoise earplugs that helped a bit with the problem. We asked to change rooms and they said hotel was full. Doubt that. Our "original room" was also unavaible. What is worse is that the employee that received us said that we got that room as an upgrade. Looking at reviews of the hotel, I noticed lots of other guests complaining about rooms next to elevators. One of them more than 10 years ago, meaning it's not a new problem. Disney simply doesn't care about its guests comfort. Its possible that this problem affects other rooms in other floors too. So if you have a reservation, make sure to ask for a room far away from elevators.

This resort is very handy to the park. It needs a bit of a refresh. We were staying in Compass Club and the staff were fantastic. Rooms are getting a little dated and the hotel could do with tech upgrades. We wanted to sign in to Disney plus to watch a movie at night but the tvs are a bit old and dont have smart tv facilities.

Staff all very attentive, and all areas very clean and tidy. The hotel is a little dated in areas, and definitely isn't up to current 4 star standards (Art of Marvel is also 4* but clearly more modern/up to current standard). Bedroom decent enough size, but bathroom again feels incredibly dated and shower was poor water pressure. Would rather opt for an off-site hotel if on the same budget but this was an additional night stay where we felt an additional night at Marvel would break our budget!

The room was clean but far too hot. The air con said it was 19 degrees so it wouldn’t turn on however we both felt it was much warmer than that. There was construction right outside our window which was a little disappointing as we were celebrating a 40th birthday so didn’t feel that special. On arrival we went to reception to check in and get our room - we arrived after 2.00 p.m. The receptionist queried our room and although we had booked a room with 2 double beds, she tried to give us a family room with bunk beds, which we declined. We insisted on having what we had booked and she then told us we would have to wait until 3.00 when a room would be allocated to us. She was not hospitable, polite or concerned that we were disappointed about not automatically being given the room that we had booked. No apology was given throughout the whole process. We went back at 3.00 and had to queue for 20 minutes until we could see a receptionist who gave us the room that we had booked, but told us we would have to take up our own luggage which we had stored in the luggage area outside the main door to the hotel. we went around the hotel to the luggage area and asked to take our luggage away - the man asked for our room number and said the luggage would come up to the room within 15 minutes - we would not need to take it ourselves. we went to our room and after 40 minutes we phoned down to the luggage area to ask where our luggage was - we were told by the man on the phone that we had not given a slip of paper with our room number on to the luggage centre and therefore they had been waiting for us to contact them in order for them to bring the luggage up. we told them that we had not been given a slip of paper by the reception and we had verbally given them our room

Check-in was very poor - no ID check/ no welcome, our room was only ready at 17:40. We were told to ‘bring our own bags’ and stood out in the rain to collect them after the park. We requested one dental kit and were told ‘no out of stock’ and to purchase one at the store - no apologies just an abrupt no. They only had a kids toothbrush to buy the next morning for the price of five euros. One member of staff said ‘what is that supposed to mean’ when I said I had dual nationality, all in all very disappointed with the service. I used to come to the hotel with my family but will unfortunately not return. None of the electrical ports worked in our room too - so we went to the park with uncharged phones and could not even use our hairdryer.

Easy to check in before 3pm and somewhere to leave luggage while we went to the park. Never received a text to tell me the room was ready and when we went to reception he had to allocate a room and this was well past 3pm so this obviously hadn’t been sorted. The room was spacious with 2 comfy double beds, bathroom was clean. Had complimentary water and lots of different coffee and tea options. We ordered a room service breakfast which was delivered on time and was really nice. Negatives would be the wifi- I tried to connect and it just wasn’t working. Not the end of the world as I could hotspot off my phone but I did expect better from Disney considering how much you pay for a room. The air conditioner wasn’t working so it was a little warm but luckily it wasn’t boiling hot outside. The only other disappointing thing was in the morning we decided to relax before we traveled back so stayed until check out time and we had 4 attempts by housekeeping to get into our room to clean which was annoying when we had paid until 11am and we were well within that time- you felt a bit like they were forcing you out of the room. The hotel overall is nice and you can easily walk out of the back and into Disney village and get to the parks.

Room was clean and spacious, a few niggles, no milk for tea, only creamer, and only 1 breakfast tea bag amongst a collection of other teas. The staff were all friendly, and helpful. Be aware, its a fair walk to Disney Village if its raining, although there is a shuttle bus available.

This was our first experience visiting a Disney hotel, and we were generally impressed by the Newport Bay Club. It is situated about a 10 minute walk from the Disney Village, with a further 5 minutes to the park entrance. Staff were very friendly and efficient (they had to be, the hotel lobby gets extremely busy around check-in time). One downside is dining options at the hotel; there are a couple of restaurants, but with set menu prices at €45 or €55 per head, this is very costly, so we did not use them, meaning we were stuck with the Disney village or park food offering, which is mostly 'fast food'. The hotel shop is primarily for Disney merchandise, selling only drinks and sweets; it would have been better if it offerde a slightly broader choice such as healthy snacks or fruit, but I suppose that's not very Disney. Nice indoor and outdoor pool, which we took advantage of during a particularly hot day (37 degrees celsius!) but the changing rooms can get very congested, so try to pick a quiet time. Overall, quite expensive, but a quality experience.

The hotel has very limited options for vegetarians and the room are ok not a wooow experience that we wish to experience when you come to Disney and are overpriced with the tickets. As the hotel is the only good option to close to Disney park one has no oher way. Definitely was expecting a much better experience after paying a premium rates .

Such a convenient location with the parks a lovely 10 min stroll around the lake. The hotel is huge with great restaurants and the added bonus of a fabulous pool, jacuzzi and sauna to ease those aching feet!

Easy to check in before 3pm and somewhere to leave luggage while we went to the park. Never received a text to tell me the room was ready and when we went to reception he had to allocate a room and this was well past 3pm so this obviously hadn’t been sorted. The room was spacious with 2 comfy double beds, bathroom was clean. Had complimentary water and lots of different coffee and tea options. We ordered a room service breakfast which was delivered on time and was really nice. Negatives would be the wifi- I tried to connect and it just wasn’t working. Not the end of the world as I could hotspot off my phone but I did expect better from Disney considering how much you pay for a room. The air conditioner wasn’t working so it was a little warm but luckily it wasn’t boiling hot outside. The only other disappointing thing was in the morning we decided to relax before we traveled back so stayed until check out time and we had 4 attempts by housekeeping to get into our room to clean which was annoying when we had paid until 11am and we were well within that time- you felt a bit like they were forcing you out of the room. The hotel overall is nice and you can easily walk out of the back and into Disney village and get to the parks.
