Beautiful, modern hotel with a nice bar and restaurant. Tasty room service but lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Comfortable beds and quiet room. We chose this hotel to be near Fairfax Hospital and it was perfect for our stay

It’s a great place to stay. I would give them 5 stars if they informed us about parking cost and breakfast info at check in. The room facing the road was loud. It needs better sound proofing. The shower wasn’t as clean as other hotels in the same caliber we stayed previously. It was a comfortable stay overall. We would stay there again.

Easy check in. Parking in garage immediately across the street. Very clean. Walkable shopping and restaurant area in "Mosaic District." Breakfast was very good-- fresh fruit, breads, coffee, tea, boiled eggs, musli, oatmeal.

Lovely hotel in a great location. However, we were disappointed with the hotel on this occasion. The threshold carpet leading into the bathroom was poorly installed and my wife punctured her foot on a carpet tack strip poking up through the carpet. I felt carefully following the incident and noticed several sharp tacks poking through that should not have been difficult to detect. Upon sharing this with the front desk, I received an apology and free $10 parking. I was told management would likely contact me, but they never did. The experience left my wife uncomfortable and me disappointed with the Archer.

My wife was bitten by bed bugs in a few separate clusters. Rashes appeared right after lunch after spending the night, and had to go to the doctor as soon as we got back.

Comfortable and tastefully appointed hotel. Excellent, helpful front desk staff who take the time to walk through all the details regarding your stay. Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The icing on the cake is all the shops and restaurants located right out the front door. Would definitely stay again.

I saw a hair or 2 on the floor and had one in a towel. I just used a different one and picked up a hair off the bathroom floor using that hairy towel. I enjoyed the room. It was inviting, comfortable and updated. I stayed on the 7th floor in the middle. My room over looked Home Depot and a street. The street was noisy at times with the occasional loud car or emergency vehicle. I imagine the rooms located in Glass Alley may be quieter but the view would be obstructed by the parking garage. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The staff was great and the location was fantastic. The room was clean and nice. The daily treats were much appreciated. The only thing I might say would be that the doors seemed thin. Any noise in the hallway was easily heard. Outside of that, a great stay.

The reception staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming. However, the room itself looked nice. Bathroom had a bad leak. Breakfast was fervent every morning, but the coffee wasn’t very good. I do wish they had kettles since they provide drinkware and tea options.

The archer hotel is very convenient. Close to major roads and tons of shopping. It was nice to be able to walk around and enjoy the area. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable. They must have re did the property awhile ago. Some things feel new while others feel dated. The bottles of water are a nice touch.

Excellent one night stay at the Archer. I arrived early and my room was already ready which was brilliant. Check in was smooth and quick, with a warm welcome from the team on reception. My room was incredibly spacious - huge - with a large bathroom and good size wardrobe. Wifi worked immediately with no login issues. Was easily able to chrome cast my Netflix content to the TV however was unable to access the regular tv channels (but this could be my lack of technological expertise!). The location is perfect - in the middle of the Mosaic District with a huge variety of dining options and shopping. A very cool area with lots to do. My nights sleep was perfect - the bed and pillows were super comfortable - so much so I overslept!! Was granted a slightly late check out (thank you!) and the actual check out was equally smooth. Definitely would recommend the Archer!

Loved the very convenient location, with plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. The room was clean and spacious with a full size fridge kitchenette. Parking was also just across the street, which is a big bonus considering the busy area the hotel is located in. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious and include a kitchen and couch. Bathroom area was great. The design in the room was good. Didn't feel like I was staying in a hotel at all. The only disappointment was the continental breakfast. It was cold. For the price of the rooms, i fully expected a nice hot breakfast.

Great location! The room/suite was nice but not quiet - the storage room was right next to me, and you can easily hear people in the hallway. That’s the only thing I didn’t like. My previous experiences at Archer in Tyson’s was spectacular- very quiet rooms. I would stay here again, but ask for a quieter section if available. Thank you!

Gentleman who checked me in was cold and rude. It was 1 in the morning and I just landed from the keys and had a short layover and was exhausted. I asked for a toothbrush and toothpaste and it bothered him that he didn’t finish his explanations of the hotel and then at the end looked at me and said the market closed at midnite. Everything else about the hotel looked great and like a place I would stay at some time.

This has been my go to hotel for the past two years. And the staff are great, accommodations are comfortable and the breakfast and afternoon bites are well worth it. Great location with easy access to major highways and walkable to great dining options. Unfortunately the last two times I’ve stayed here housekeeping has been abysmal. The final straw was returning to my hotel after working all day to find that the housekeepers had blocked my door open (for no telling how long) leaving my personal items available to any passerby. And I found kids running in the hallway near my room as I approached. I kept the do not disturb sign on for the remainder of my stay and opted out of housekeeping. Choosing to get my own fresh towels etc Yes I spoke with a manager and they kindly took off one night of the bill. But I no longer feel safe leaving my belongings in this hotel while I’m away at work. Gaining back trust is much harder than just giving a free nights stay. I’ll stay at their sister hotels instead for now - even at a higher rate - as I do like the amenities and rooms. Oh well. Live and learn

Wow! I have stayed at Archer in McLean (Tysons) many times and thought it might be fun to try this one since you can walk to dining and shopping. Big mistake. The hotel lobby smelled so bad. I heard multiple people complain while I was there. They said it was the mulch laid around the property, but it didn't smell outside. Then a maintenance man walked into my hotel room without knocking while my daughters and I were in there. The shower was luke warm at best. Then, I was accosted walking into the elevators by a drunk hotel guest. While I screamed at the man and pulled my daughter out of the elevator to safety, the front desk person just stood there--not calling security, not yelling STOP to the man, not yelling Is everything okay--nothing. Just watching as I screamed at the man to get him to back off. When I approached the man after the drunk group left in the elevator he did not offer to help, did not offer to report, did nothing but stood there and stared at me. The Archer House in Tysons is 10/10. This one is 0/10. Would never stay here and couldn't have been run worse.

The front desk informed us that Hotels.com did not contact the hotel for our reservation and that they didn’t have our pre-paid room reservation in their system. We had to wait for an hour before the issue was resolved. Very bad first impression. They went as far to say that Hotels.com was terrible, book directly with us next time! Needless to say, it won’t be a next time.

I always try to stay at the Archer if there's availability. It's conveniently located in the Mosaic for great restaurants and shopping, very close to Tysons and Fair Oaks malls and the Fairfax Corner shopping district, and has metro access to downtown DC. The hotel restaurant is also very good and the beds are so comfortable!

Archer Hotel was located in the middle of the Mosaic District. There are plenty of places to eat or shop. Parking was easy to find. The hotel had wonderful amenities and helpful staff.

Excellent value (visiting a hospital nearby) and walkable to all things Mosaic. Highly recommend if you want eats without jumping in the car. Parking was handy and never too full. My only suggestion for the hotel is work towards replacing shower head with detachable wand. Women need more flexibility in their shower routine.

Great hotel located in a nice location close to many shops and restaurants. It’s a great location for families. Our toddler enjoyed hanging out at the open yard in front of the theater. The hotel looks and feels very modern and luxurious. Easy self parking next to the hotel was a big plus. The check in process was a breeze with friendly staff. Only negative was the free “breakfast” which was breakfast only in the technical sense of the word with very limited offerings of pastries and bagels. But you’ll find many other great options around the hotel.

The Archer Hotel is a beautiful property. It's located among boutique shops and a nice variety of restaurants. There is a parking garage with abundant parking and it's located less than a mile from the train station for trips into DC without having to stay in DC. We stayed with two young children and the area around the hotel felt safe and family friendly.

Nice hotel in a nice area for shopping and restaurants. Metro station a decent walk away. Free continental breakfast was really bad. Only thing we wanted to eat were the hard boiled eggs and those were barely edible (didn’t know that was possible). We opted to go out for breakfast the second morning.

Fantastic Stay! Great Value and Warm Hospitality! We had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was fresh, simple, and satisfying. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen that was well-stocked with everything we needed. The room was clean, and parking was conveniently located just across the street. The bartender was lovely and made us feel right at home. Best of all, the price was significantly lower than other nearby hotels- many of which offered less. We’d definitely recommend this place and would happily stay again!
