Although we missed the breakfast, they offer continental breakfast. I feel as it should be offered until check out, some ppl don't get up early after traveling late. They only have employee on site until 10pm, so no check in after that. Parking lot VERY small, wonder what they do when they have more than 10 vehicles... Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and loved that the room had bottled water, coffee, and tea. The restroom had dispenser for shower needs (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), and another for lotion and hand soap. Huge closet... This definitely would be a great place to stay for a couple days or more if needed. It's located across from shopping center and has yummy food options around

Fairly quiet although not in a quiet neighborhood. Front desk staff was great! Not using the shower as there is a number of spots in the tub that are in need of repair. Bathroom is very small. Bed is comfortable. Decent price on Expedia, but probably will not return. Parking lot has very small parking spaces.

The room was clean, comfortable, and nice. However, the outside looks like a scene from a police movie raid on a motel. The motel sign needs repair and there were no lights on to help find the site. The pool was dirty, and parking was tight. From the outside, it looked seedy, but the interior was great.

The motel looks a bit run down from the outside but the rooms have had some upgrades. The office staff were excellent, the room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Exactly what we needed for one night at a good price.

They only offer bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit and coffee the coffee machines doesn’t work half of the time. The pool is not heated so even do it’s hot the water on the pool it’s really cold. The pool area it’s dirty and they only clean the room on the 3rd day of your stay. I did ask the guy if they can clean my room on day 2 and he said no it will be done the next day. The whole Properly need some TLC

Aged exterior. Kinda retro in a way. Inside of room was nice clean enough. A little dust here and there but not bad. Very clean bathroom lots of towels. Very hot water. Parking I can imagine could be challenging on busy nights. I was there on a Thurs. And parking lot was not quite full. Noisy other guests. Not the establishments problem just some inconsiderate guests. With the ac blowing drowns out most noise. Busy road out front during day. A little road noise. Ive stayed in much worse places. So not perfect, but perfectly adequate.

We arrived late but the reception was still open and we ckecked in. We went looking for something to eat and in the meantime the reception had been closed. We opened the bed and found several dark hair on the bed. Also we found a credit card of another person the floor. In other words the room had not been cleaned up. It was disgusting and we changed to another hotel around 11 pm. We had been driving all day so we didn’t feel like starting to argue with non-existent receptionist.We had booked the room for two nights but there was nothing the hotel could do to fix this so we left immediately. The email adress on the website didn’t work.

Seeing and hearing yelling homeless every morning across the street, did not inspire feelings of safety. It looked like no one cleaned the breakfast area in days as the garbage cans were overflowing and did not look like they had been emptied during our stay. And then there was the loud refrigerator and cracks in the wall. From the looks of the parking lot and grounds, it looked like we were one of the two units occupied and yet right underneath our room guys were partying into the middle of the night like they were drunk and on drugs.

Although the front office guy was very accommodating and the room looked visually clean, the floor was very dirty. I walked barefoot from the bathroom to the bed and some of the wet towels ended up on the floor; both the bottom of my feet and the towels turned black from the dirt build up. The outside walking paths could use a good cleaning too. There were lots of nearby food places and a drugstore right next door which was convenient.

This was the cleanest hotel that I’ve ever stayed at !!! If I’m ever in Medford Or again this is where I’m staying. My compliments to the housekeepers that maintain the rooms the grounds are just as clean . This is the place to stay and the price is reasonable.

I not the staff were able to hook me up to wifi.The shower tap/shower switch did not work, with water coming out of both all the time. The breakfast room was a dingy place. Breakfast items were few. No water, milk or juice, even though there was cereal. The room was clean. To he fair, the man on duty made a few attempts to get wifi going, but without success.

The fact that this dump is getting an 8.2 on this site makes me realize that reviews are worthless. Yes, the owner/proprietor was great. Very nice, helpful, etc. But the room was terrifying. No smoke detector. The walls were paper thin (and yeah I know people toss out this complaint too easily, but we could hear the guy next door talking on his phone. Word for word). Decor isn’t my thing, but the furnishings (and carpet) were very 1970s. The location was terrible (bad enough that my wife insisted on putting the club on our steering wheel over night). You could hear road sounds while in bed. I’ve stayed at some of the sketchiest hostels around the world, and this was as bad or worse than any. It’s the first time in my life I considered just leaving and giving up the money I paid. I wish I’d have chosen the Motel 6 down the street, which was HALF this price.

Staff bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. Super friendly and pleasant. Worked with us to get a ground floor room close to our truck. In the morning the owner came over as we were packing up to personally invite us to the coffee room for coffee and bagels. Surprised to find a pod style maker with lots of options, he even went to the store to purchase more styles before we were up. Small place with recently upgraded vinyl flooring, which makes the place feel so much cleaner. The bed was comfortable and we had a great sleep. Great stop for an overnight stay.

I had a late night check in and Fernando was wonderful. I'm not good at parking so he parked my car for me, carried my bag and walked me to my room and made sure I was safely inside for the night. He is so kind, caring and took great care of me. He will treat every guest like they are his family. Management give Fernando a raise! He is the heart and soul of Sovanna Inn. Also, housekeeping did a excellent job as the room and bathroom were spotless. Nice comfortable bed and though hotel was pretty full it was very quiet. Enjoyed my stay.

I wasn't aware that the front desk would not be open after 9 pm. We were heading home to Canada when my phone rang and Brian called to ask when we'd be arriving. He waited for us...and ended up staying there til after 11. My best friend died that morning, and I was an absolute wreak. He was so kind and thoughtful and actually gave me a hug! Our room was beautifully clean and spotless, the bed was comfortable and well appointed . We left the next morning...only to discover that i had left my insulin and other medications in the fridge!! My days were sad and dark...and we had traveled over 3 hundred miles before i realized this. I called Brian the next day...he was calm and reassuring and took my medication the post office and mailed them to me in Canada. Great room...outstanding rates...and the dearest, sweetest fellow who was so wonderful to a lost soul like me. On the worst vacation of my life, he was the one person who seemed to care. I can't recommend this quaint little hotel enough!

The highlight of the Sovanna in was Fernando's service. He was attentive, friendly and so dedicated to ensuring we had all the information for checking in late, that our room was warm, clean, stocked.

Fernando is the unique feature, he is the grease that makes it all run smoothly at Sovana Inn in Medford, Oregon. Fernando was always smiling always looking for ways to make things go from good to best for the guest. Five Stars for Fernando, and the Continental breakfast wes pretty good also....

Although we missed the breakfast, they offer continental breakfast. I feel as it should be offered until check out, some ppl don't get up early after traveling late. They only have employee on site until 10pm, so no check in after that. Parking lot VERY small, wonder what they do when they have more than 10 vehicles... Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and loved that the room had bottled water, coffee, and tea. The restroom had dispenser for shower needs (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), and another for lotion and hand soap. Huge closet... This definitely would be a great place to stay for a couple days or more if needed. It's located across from shopping center and has yummy food options around

Great budget inn. We stayed here after our visit to the Oregon Caves on our way home to California. Fernando the manager was so kind to turn in the AC before we arrived. It located close to the freeway , lots of restaurants and stores. The bed the was very comfortable and the were hot and strong.

We stay at Sovana when we pass through Medford, OR. A family-owned hotel, we have developed a casual relationship with the managers. The location is ideal, with restaurants, grocery stores and tourist attractions close by. The rates are reasonable and the beds comfortable.

I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend the place. The queen size beds are full size. Its a 50s or 60s motor inn. It's also got some kind of homeless camp across the street and people were yelling profanities at us as we left our car. I checked the car multiple times and fortunately it was ok. I have no idea how this place got as highly rated as it did but IT HAS TO BE A SCAM.

They only offer bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit and coffee the coffee machines doesn’t work half of the time. The pool is not heated so even do it’s hot the water on the pool it’s really cold. The pool area it’s dirty and they only clean the room on the 3rd day of your stay. I did ask the guy if they can clean my room on day 2 and he said no it will be done the next day. The whole Properly need some TLC

All was good nothing fancy, small but clean. Breakfast was a disappointment only because no protein at all. Large muffins and bagels. Fruit. Needed more variety but with as few as people that were there I guess it was enough. Good coffee.

We have stayed at here for many years and it is the best ever! ALWAYS clean bedding, floors, bathroom; plenty of towels that are good quality; staff is wonderful to everyone; nice little breakfast (not hot but nice variety) and room is always clean and they never run out of things. Sovana Inn is a GEM!

Basically a good place to stay for $80. But w/ summer rate over $110, Id pick elsewhere. Beds are fair, having baby-pee-pee plastic mattress wrappings...so for those sensitive to sleeping warm, sweating, you'll want to pass on this adventure. Room has everything you'll need and they all work well. A/C is OK , just noisy. Breakfast provided is great, using Kueric style coffee makers in breakfast rm. No waffles. Just stale bagles and taster w/ fake butter & packaged cream cheese. Fresh fruits in a bowl, not all exciting - but clean, nicely presented & very adequate. Enjoy!

I had a very nice stay here. The staff were super accommodating and had recommendations for food places nearby. When I rolled up on my motorcyle, they listened to my request to have a room near the parking lot, and then got the AC started in the room. The breakfast the next morning was simple, but the space was clean. Great value.

Staff was nice. Rooms are dated but clean. Beds a little to firm for mine and my wife’s backs, liking. Breakfast is ok, no waffle maker, pretty limited. Is close to a lot of restaurants. Shower has good hot water. Plenty of towels.

This was an mothing like what was described and when we arrived and asked to see the room it appears that the entire place is under construction and rooms smelled with spray deoderant and my Astma flared up and we did mot checkmin and walked away

Loved the staff - everybody was helpful. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about this property and maybe the coffee and fruit for breakfast. The room was not well kept. The bed was uncomfortable and the AC was extremely loud. We got maybe 2-3 hours of sleep because we kept getting woken up by the sound of the AC.
