The LaQuinta was in a location easily accessible to the interstate. The breakfast was great! The fitness room was a good size. Although there was no conditioner in the bottle all the other toiletries were good and smelled nice.

We loved the room. The receptionist wanted to be helpful, but I found him difficult to understand because of his accent. The place would rate a “perfect “ if the elevator had not made very loud, disturbing screeches and other noises. We were truly scared it was about to break down and we’d be stuck—a terrifying thought.

Wow! From the check in of the friendly staff members to the beautiful room. Our room was updated. I love that it didn’t have carpet. The fitness room was state of the art equipment. Breakfast was Amazing. So many great choices 😀

Windows didn’t open in any of the rooms. Otherwise, rooms ok. Limited breakfast menu. Front desk staff not very helpful. Swimming pool closed.

The lobby was torn apart. This makes an unwelcoming atmosphere. The evening reception clerk was unfriendly. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. There was construction noise that was annoying.

For a dog friendly hotel, it has little to no area to walk a dog. Because of this, customers rarely clean up after their animals and the hotel doesn't clean up either. That makes the area even less useful because my dog could be exposed to diseases, and my shoes are exposed to yucky poo. My room had a table with a large hole in the top that i suspect was where cables were run for a tv or something at some point. I absolutely detest the loud sounds from the pipe in the bathroom that seems to act as a vent.

The lobby looked okay. The floor in the elevator was dirty, we got to our room and there was a spot of dried blood on the door. The room wasn’t so bad. The beds were not good, I didn’t sleep well and heard loud voices in the hall several times during the night. Overall the hotel was ok, I’m not sure I would stay there again.

Just not really up to par on cleanliness in the bathroom, something gross on the bathroom light switch, the bedskirt looks to be a denser fabric…almost leather ish…had white stains dripped down it and my sheets were stained. Just expected a lot more than than for certain.

We traveled with our small dog so our room was one of the "dog rooms." Fine, I get it. But the room stunk. Luckily, I had Febreeze, which I used freely! Apparently they know there's an issue with dog odors because another guest also complained about their room smelling. The shower wall was dirty, the air conditioner was noisy, it ran all night and didn't cool the room, and there was a contact lens on the floor (which means the floor probably wasn't clean). There was dried blood on the bathroom counter! I asked for a disinfectant or something to clean the counter myself and the front desk guy looked at me incredulously and told me he didn't have anything other than the empty can of Lysol that he offered. I wiped the counter and covered it with a towel. We couldn't change rooms because they were sold out. They did not even offer any discount on the room or refund our money. It's a newly remodeled hotel, so there's hope. But, they have to improve their cleaning routine and when a guest has as many issues as we did, at least offer a discount on the room.

Lack of maintenance. Elevator was missing a button, exposing wires on the inside. Hallway vents were covered in dust. Our shower had mold in it. The parking lot outside her door look like a ashtray with the number of cigarette butts and trash.

This hotel was excellent in cleanliness and the staff was super nice! Very clean rooms and the rooms were very spacious! We went to a concert and to tour UT campus and it wasn’t too far away. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended.

While the staff was good and the room clean and comfortable, my room did not have a working microwave, an adjustable cooling/heating system, or a normal mini-fridge. The desk clerk did offer to let me use the microwave in the breakfast area - but didn't offer to get me a working appliance for the room. I had to turn the refrigerator off because of the overwhelming noise it was making - and the Ac/Heat was just set on a fan setting that couldn't be adjusted. So, if amenities are important to you, this might be an iffy choice.

Have stayed here 2 times now beds are super comfy always clean and super friendly staff Only down fall our room this time was 106 right next to the breakfast area and it was so loud most of the night people were in there and by 6:30am people were in there again so if your a light sleeper don’t get this room But the stay is great and close to a lot of stuff

If you are a lite sleeper, this facility is not for you!!! All doors going into rooms have a 1” gap at the bottom. If you are in your room, you can hear everyone talking in the hall. If you anre walking in the hall, you can hear conversations from rooms. It was extremely loud all night. There was also a red (I am assuming blood) stain on the mattress and the room was average for cleanliness. Will not stay here again

We were in town for UT parents weekend. This was a nice location, only a short drive to campus. The breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly. They had orange and white cupcakes out for guests on the day of the game which was a really sweet touch! Very much makes you feel like you are in a college town. They quickly found and delivered a rollaway bed when our UT student decided to join us in the hotel at the last minute. The only thing I would change is to have housekeeping come and refresh towels each day. I'm sure this is something we could have requested, but a housekeeping visit or two during a three night stay would be welcomed.

The room was clean. Evening was quiet. Good pressure for the shower and hot water still at 9am. Breakfast was OK, typical hotel breakfast. I would stay here again. The only problem needing correction is some training for your staff on service animal laws. Many can never be seperated from the animal due to certain disabilities. The desk clerk told me I could not take my service animal into the breakfast area due to other's allergies. That is understandable. But if you are going to restrict where that person can go, as it relates to their NECESSARY service animal, then you need to offer an accommodation to that person to access the restricted area. What you might do is offer assistance, a staff member, fixing a breakfast plate for the guest if they have need. Cutting services to someone with a service animal could get you sued and fined by the guest and/or the civil rights department per ADA laws. I do believe the desk clerk was just doing as they were trained to do. There was no malicious intent, but someone in higher management should know better. I've stayed at serval La Quinta locations, and this has never happened.

The room was a good base location for exploring Knoxville. We also went to a concert at the Food City Arena and it was about a 15 min drive from the parking garage of the event. The breakfast was pretty regular with no change from day to day. We did see some homeless people come in and take from the breakfast out to their car in the parking lot. There were also people in the parking lot using the wifi that were not guests. They would be sitting in their car for hours with the engine running. The area around the hotel was quiet but the Red Roof Inn next door had some interesting people out front. The housekeeping was good the one time I called down to have them come and refill the towels etc. The staff were pleasant and informative on the area. The parking lot is small on the one side but big on the back end but not very well lit after coming back at midnight. I would stay here as it is economical for what we needed it for.

Location was ideal. Just off from the interstate highway on the edge of town. Local restaurants were outstanding with a variety of food options. Clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were eager to assist when asked. We are coming back next year.

Best stay we have had in a long time. We stopped for the night on our way back home to FL. Staff was very friendly. Check in was super easy and fast. room was clean and updated. Comfortable beds and pillows. Zero noise. Hot breakfast of eggs,sausage,bacon,home fries,biscuits,sausage gravy,cereal,waffles,fruit,bagels and pastries. Highly recommend.

I took a chance on good reviews as I normally stay at places I know and I was not disappointed here and this will be my go-to for Knoxville stays. The room was clean and comfortable, hotel seemed new and the breakfast was fantastic! During my stay there were Biscuits and Gravy, Eggs, Sausage, Bacon and a delicious spicy hash brown casserole that I would have paid money for!

I love staying here, we checked in we had very sweet gentlemen who help me to get the best room for me and convenient locate for my dog, the broom was beautiful and clean and comfy. My brother and I very much enjoyed our stay until the next morning. We went about nine to go eat breakfast and there wasn’t much left. They were out of waffles. They were out of sausage. They barely had any gravy. It was all kind of burned in the bottom of the crockpot. They had one last yogurt that somebody were fighting over. If you like cereal and toast, there was some of that left. The poor lady in the cafeteria was so Embarrassed and trying to help out as best as she could. After such a lovely stay left kind of a sad feeling. I will stay at La Quinta again. I just hope I don’t have the same experience at breakfast.
