Max Beach Resort

This property was exceptionally clean, in a great location, and had very comfortable beds. The pool was heated and clean. The on site restaurant was convenient when we didn’t want to leave the pool. Staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. I don’t have a single complaint and would love to return!

The only thing I didn’t like is they don’t enforce outsider la using the pool. The gate didn’t really work and on the weekends people from the beach were using the pool and bar area.

What a great stay. Pool, restaurant, bar, gym, rooftop views. Can’t fault the place. Huge rooms, easy parking. Will be our go to when in town.

The rooms were beautiful. The views were amazing. The drinks at the bar were delicious. The game room was fun. We played pool and checkers. The pool is heated and the hot tub was relaxing. Easy access to the beach. We prefer this over a cruise and will make this hotel a family tradition.

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the HUGE balcony overlooking the ocean. Large living area, good bedroom sizes. Lots of good eateries very close by. We ate at the resort once for breakfast and it was delicious. We utilized the pool, jacuzzi and the gym daily. We would definitely return if we come back to Daytona Beach!

The hotel has a nice pool, but a couple more umbrella's would be appreciated. Easy access to the beach. No chairs on the beach but you can rent and it is pricey. You can also park in the garage under the building. Just down the road is the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. Carnival setting with games and rides. Shops and plenty of places to dine. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and so accommodating. We enjoy staying at the Max so we will be returning

The property is fantastic. The rooftop sgould stay open until Midnight. Theres bo reason to close it down at ten and absolutely no reason for guest keys to cease access at nine-thirty Other than these things all was well.

Extremely clean and new. Loved the game room and the gym. Could use more games (some had missing parts). Better info about when yoga is happening would be helpful and we weren’t told pool was heated until we called to ask. Wish they would reuse the bracelet door fobs (perfect for the kids) instead of throwing them out.

Our view from our two bedroom was incredible! We loved the balcony and the floor to ceiling windows. We had a great stay overall. We do wish that we would of had cleaning services at some point. We stayed 7 nights and it would have been nice to have our trash taken out at least once during our stay and clean towels. We washed the towels ourselves. The staff at the Venn bar were not the friendliest as far as making you feel welcome. Other than that, we didn’t see many staff around. The condo itself was amazing! For that reason alone we would stay again.

Max Beach Resort was pretty nice. Very nice staff and very very clean. Everyone was friendly and willing to help with anything you needed. Also loved the underground parking. Will be coming back thanks again Max Beach Resort.

Cleaning only comes every 5 days, we stayed 6 and never saw them. Nothing clean up with. First impression at the front desk was horrible. The girl didn’t explain any of the charges, deposit or parking for every day. Where else would we park? Lol. Changed rooms when we first arrived due to a terrible smell, room was not upgraded but was still charged $100 for room upgrade? No one answers the phone. No one to discuss all of these charges with. No room in the pool. Everyone on top of each other. There isn’t any staff to be seen but the bar staff. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and our wedding anniversary and everyone just wanted to go home. Very unfortunate.

The view from our room was everything! The property was very clean. My only complaints were that this was a resort that did not offer beach chairs or umbrellas and i was not expecting that as i have stayed at resorts in sunny isles and that is always offered while staying on the beach at a resort. Also we had panoramic windows everywhere which was amazing but it would have been nice if they were actually cleaned as well as the clear balcony surroundings. They were covered in bird poop. Which i understand happens, but we stayed for 5 days and the windows werent cleaned even once. Issues obviously not a big deal but would have been nice to have clean windows and some beach chairs available on the beach front after paying over $2000 for a 5 night stay.

I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms are absolutely beautiful! Everything was so clean and all the staff was very nice.

Rooms are not clean. They look clean until you walk barefoot on them, your feet will be black and sandy in minutes. There was a pill left on the floor, indicating they had not been cleaned before we entered the 1st day. Dishes in cabinet were dirty. Washer/Dryer are only good for washing sandy stuff, as they are both full of sand as well. Rooms were modern and beautiful, but curtains were broken in all 3 rooms, making it impossible to open / close them. Beds were very firm and hard, not to our liking. Shower door in primary was broken and dirty. We were charged more than quoted by Expedia, stating daily fees are more than then were quoted. Spoke badly about Expedia. Definitely NOT worth the price they are charging - Not a 4-star hotel either. I not would stay here again.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were well equipped. Could have been a little cleaner, and getting housekeeping services was problematic.

The staff was great and the property seemed new. We had the room with kitchen which was nice and convenient. But the first room we got wasn't sufficient cleaned (and overlooked the parking lot even though it was considered ocean view) So they moved us to another room the next day. There's no housekeeping service which is unfortunate on vacation, and the shower was all moldy inside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but for the price there is room for improvement.

Our oceanfront 2 bedroom unit had a spectacular view. The unit was well appointed yes with everything need! It was wonderful! Staff onsite were also very friendly and helpful.

The place is amazing. The location (Daytona Beach) wasn’t what we thought it might be. That’s on us. The rooms were great. Although the master AC didn’t work so was very warm once we closed the door. The view of the street was horrible. The master shower door leaked water all over the floor. (Design issue). The light switches for the second bath was on the outside. So you could lock the door and take a shower and someone could turn the light off and leave you in the dark. To turn the power on in the unit you have to slide a card in at the front door. This was never relayed to us. So for the first hour we had no idea what was going on. During this time no one answered our calls to the front desk. The pool closes at 9:00. And they literally kick you out without hesitation. This sucked for us bc every night we had to have a late dinner and wanted to come back to swim but only got a couple minutes each night. Our sheets for the pull out had blood on them. We called the front desk and immediately they had new sheets. The problem was they only sent two flat sheets. No pillow cases or blankets. This went on for several minutes of bringing up a piece of bedding at a time. The bracelets were great. Best idea of a hotel/resort not at Disney yet! Again the rooms were great. Just minor issues. There really wasn’t much to do. Did not have anything from the bar. The prices were ridiculous. When we left we didn’t know we had to check out. Most hotel/resorts you just leave. They did not

The pictures on their website accurately depict the room that you'll receive. Looks exact. I love that you have a washer/dryer in the room. Also a kitchen, with supplies to cook. The pool was comfortable, and beach access was easy. The rooftop observation decks are a nice touch. Now, the ONLY big issue I have is the privacy level I experienced in the room I was given. We were given a 2nd floor balcony, and although you get a beautiful ocean view to your left...directly in front of us was the hotel's parking lot and the neighboring hotel's parking garage. When we sit on our balcony, everyone parking or walking by have a very clear view. I hated it. Very unfortunate because the view and balcony were 100% the reason I booked this hotel. Other little minor things include no blackout curtains in the living room (which was highly concerning, considering the privacy issue I mentioned above), no dishwasher pods provided for in room dishwasher. I should also mention that for the 4 nights we stayed, no housekeeping offered. Overall, the aesthetics were very pleasant. It's family friendly but also peaceful at the same time.

I love the full kitchen and large balcony! It was nice having full laundry room to take beach chair, rinse swim suits and plenty of room to fold clothes! Would love if the furniture in living room was a little more comfortable to relax in evening!

We reserved and paid for a “2 Bedroom Ocean View Residence” only to be placed in room 703 which was a “2 Bedroom Ocean & City North View Residence”. I voiced concern when we checked in only to be told it has an ocean view too with part city. And while the correct room (702, 802, 902, etc..) would still have had some city view, I paid ($50 extra per night x 6 nights) for the room right next to the ocean. So at this stage I am out the additional $300 for room charges without any recourse options. Would like the hotel to review and credit back. As for the hotel, it is extremely nice and would gladly stay again. I would encourage the hotel to add more lounge chairs as there was a constant shortage.

10 out of 10 when you get an oceanside view condo. The large sliding doors open up so you can hear the waves crashing in the place too. Very spacious, fully stocked kitchen, modern and clean rooms all around. Would go back in a second.

Excellent room. Everything well organized. We had two bedrooms for two nights for six members. Definitely loved the stay.

Ocean view one bedroom states that is king size bed , when we got the room we were disappointed that the bes was queen. We call the front desk and ask them and they stated that in fact it was a king size bed. When is clearly a queen size we sleep in a king size at home. So we a re pretty sure is not a king.other than that room is very spacious.

Doesn’t get any better. Professional engaging staff. Very clean and spacious. Huge amazing balcony. Pictures are exactly what you would get. All Samsung appliances are new. Everything you would need is there. It’s Perfect!!!

Max was our “back up” due to another property falling short. I CANNOT stress how amazing the staff, room and grounds were. Michael (manager), Savannah (Venn) and so many others were unbelievable. Accommodating us and so kind. I will always suggest this property to ALL my friends and family. Thank you again Max staff for helping us pivot from our previous arrangement and make it one of our best experiences. 5 Stars! Liz and David

Check-in was a breeze, front desk staff was awesome. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. LOVE the Laundry feature and it's unlimited laundry soap (Tide, just ask for more at the front desk). It's not a problem at all but something to note is that housekeeping is only every 5 days, but if you need any more items for your room or need anything at all the front desk people are super helpful. There's a beautiful entertainment room (and gym) on the top floor and the beach access was super convenient. Will definitely come back to this property.

Everything about this stay was simply amazing! The customer service was awesome! The day prior to my stay they reached out advising my payment didn’t go through and I immediately apologized because my card was locked but Miss Linda at the front desk was so nice about it, she even gave me info on the weather for me our stay! Upon arrival, I had met Miss Linda for check-in which was a smooth and easy process! There was a little discrepancy with the room but she had already taken care of it and was able to provide me another room which sat directly facing the ocean view! When I say the cleanliness was amazing and the room was very bra m, I wish I could have stayed longer. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, and utensils to cook! Access to the beach was very easy as well as the pool! Love that they have a bar. However, the bar staff was not as friendly as the front desk concierge and the strawberry margarita made by Ansley was very good! Def will be returning!

The facility is located in a prime spot, boasting all the amenities you could ask for and spacious, well-appointed rooms. We had specifically booked a two-bedroom flat with a clean, unobstructed view. However, upon arrival, we were given a room with both a city and ocean view, which wasn’t what we had expected. When we approached the staff to request a correction, we were met with rudeness and told to cancel our booking and leave. The staff member coldly explained that this was the room we would get, emphasizing that it included both a city and ocean view. After a long journey with young children, it was already 10:00 PM, and the last thing we wanted was to pack up and leave. Reluctantly, we accepted the situation. Later, the property manager did apologize for the staff's rude behavior and waived the resort fee, but we were still stuck in the same room. While the property itself had everything you would expect from a great stay, the poor treatment from the staff left a bitter taste. In the end, if you're paying extra for an ocean view, be warned: you’ll likely only get a partial view along with the cityscape, making it hard to justify the extra cost.

The amenities and the room it self it is great. The customer service is horrible. They are rude, non helpful. We have been coming here for years but this time we left with a bad taste. Which it is shame because we loved staying there before

Great as always! Right on the beach. Restaurant has very good food. Clean and safe accommodations. Staff always goes above any beyond. We will be back!

The property eas beautiful. Our only issue was check in was supposed to be 4pm and we weren't able to check in until 6pm.

Disappointed Birthday Stay – Not What We Expected I’m really disappointed to say that our recent stay at Max Resort was not up to par, especially considering how much we enjoyed our first visit. This time around, the experience left a lot to be desired — particularly because we stayed during what was supposed to be a celebratory birthday trip for me. We were informed just two days before check-in that there would be an all-day power outage on March 20th (my actual birthday) to fix a generator. When I called to ask more about it, the front desk staff reassured us that the outage would only last from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. In reality, it wasn’t restored until 6 p.m. — leaving us without power on one of the most important days of our stay. The only compensation offered was a waived $35 resort fee. When we asked for anything more, we were simply told no. Inside our unit (903), there were multiple issues: The TV in the living area would not cast without shutting off the TV in the other bedroom. There were red stains on the carpet. The bathroom toilet vents in both bedroom areas were not working. We reported all of this. Maintenance showed up and only cleaned the carpet stain. Everything else was left unresolved. When we expressed how uncomfortable this made us, the staff was indifferent. Eventually, a maintenance tech named Keith was sent up and told us he was “here to fix all the problems” — but ended up saying he couldn’t fix any of them and seemed bothered that we even asked.

We have stayed here several times. A great property and it is located in the nicer part of Daytona Beach.

Greatviews my only complaint was that it had no beach access. It was under construction, but we managed to still get to the beach.

Brand new, beautiful rooms, clean, friendly, good food from the restaurant on site. Not their fault but the beach access was closed due to hurricane damage. I can’t wait to splurge and return during the summer!

Beautiful property! The gym and game room at the top of the building is a brilliant idea. I enjoyed working out with a view. Restaurant food and drinks were good!

Condo hotel with all the extras, only downfall is onsite restaurant is not very appealing.

I loved the panaromic views from the room, along w the wrist bracelets to get in the room. I would like more food selections for room service

We had a great stay! Ocean view 2 bedroom was amazing. Full kitchen, 2 full baths, laundry room, giant living room. The food and drinks at the restaurant onsite were awesome. All staff were friendly and helpful. Watched dolphins from our balcony every morning. We will definitely return here as soon as we can! Awesome experience!
