Good breakfast. No issues overall.

When we tried to check in there was no one at front desk. After 5 min I started calling the main number over and over, no one answered; I chose talk to manager, no answer, chose talk to assistant manager, no answer, chose customer service, rang on and on. Finally someone who I later saw bartending came over and checked us in (by now there was a line behind me). I didn’t expect much since it was cheaper hotel, but with the Hyatt name I expected better than usual. Eh. We got the two bedroom suite. The beds were decent but old. And weirdly, the counters are all much lower than we are used to. Hard to wash your face. But again, you can’t get a two bedroom suite around here for this price. Breakfast was good. Parking free and plentiful. Pool was ok. So why the one star review? 1. To get a hot shower, you have to turn it all the way to the hot side and you lose water pressure in the process. So either a strong lukewarm shower or a soft hot shower. 2. Bedrooms have cheap french doors that swing inward to the bedrooms but don’t close all the way with a gap in between. No privacy. No noise reduction. 3. Half the lights in the room didn’t work. This is just cheap maintenance not being done. Which makes me question the maintenance in general. 4. Three TVs - 2 didn’t work. Cable only, no smart TV log in for any streaming services. 5. My husband is allergic to animal dander and I am allergic to mold. Both our allergies were bad the whole time. Wouldn’t take much to be a better hotel.
