New Hope Lodge

The Lodge is conveniently located in between downtown New Hope and Peddlers Village. It's a rustic lodge with some updates. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Nice patio overlooking a small pond. Bar onsite. Plenty of parking. Coffee and muffins available in reception area in the morning. Staff friendly.

Facility is dated, but clean. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Management has replaced a lot of old fixtures with LEDs. WIFI worked well. Pool was open, but hours were quite restricted. Overall a reasonable stay for a last minute decision.

Was a nice area. Parking hard to find as on Weekend nights due to outside people visiting the Bar room. No coffee available on Sunday Morning.

The location was great! THe pool was exceptional. The place was welcoming to diverse patrons and everyone was very pleasant. The events at the Club were great!

We rented 3 adjacent rooms. Two were adjoining, which was great. Not having 2 keys for one of rooms was inconvenient. The other 2 rooms were keyless lock which was helpful. We were missing a hair dryer in one room, but didn’t discover that until the morning when we needed it. Left a VM (no one in the office in the AM) and they responded about 90 minutes later. The bathrooms are in need of repair! We had two shower heads that need replacing, one broken toilet seat, and one stopped up sink. The parking was easy except if you left and came back at night. The Cub Room bar is very busy and one night we couldn’t find parking when we came back. Can’t imagine how night parking would be In season when the Lodge is full. The beds were very comfortable!! And the bedding was good. Towels were low quality. Bring binder clips to close the lightweight curtains - we had to use the fan to drown out the noise from the bar and the fan blew the curtains all around. Not walkable into town but convenient enough location. We liked the rear door that opened to a connected patio with tables and chairs. But if you were renting only one room there wouldn’t be any privacy. It was nice having 24/7 access to a cold/hot water cooler, coffee/tea, and extra cups, and towels in the office. We knew what the rooms looked like before we came but fully functioning bathrooms are important.

The place was very “ok”. We did like the throwback charm of the place, however the room was dark and I did see cobwebs in the corner. Bathroom is tight, old, with no electrical outlets. Bed was fine. We did go to The Cub, which is the bar at the Lodge, and our food and drinks were very good.

Wonderful place, rooms are big, clean, and feel like little cabins. Beautiful pool and hammocks in back. Just lovely.

Stains all over the carpet left you feeling like the place was not very sanitary. Like the location but the room could use an update.

Stains on the carpet. Hair in the bathtub. Shower water was extremely hot. Better clean options somewhere else.

The air conditioner had no remote had to be unplugged from the wall. Obvious broken chair. Towel bar half off wall no toilet paper holder. Someone's else hair all over the bathroom. Smelled musty. Awful 😖

The only complaint is the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned: floors were not swept in all places, previous guest’s undergarments were not picked up.

Do not stay here! Smells like mold. Building full of broken baseboards, doors, windows.

Quaint, rustic, nostalgic rooms that were very clean and organized. Pool was very clean, and the staff was very helpful.

Stains and hair on the sheets…….they changed them for us. There was also a big greasy slippery stain on the floor as we walked in

This was good for a no frills type of stay. Room was dirty- but visible looked clean. Mini fridge had an open water bottle inside that didn’t belong to us. Bathroom had clothing crumpled behind the door that didn’t belong to us. Outside soda machine didn’t work. It was perfect for a place to crash after an all day drinking and all you need is a bed. Location was great for a quick Uber to main st.

The hotel is conventiently located near downtown New Hope. While it is an older property, it was well maintained and clean. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again next time I am visiting the area.

Very cozy, log cabin vibes. Beds were comfortable not to hard. The windows opened which let in the crisp autumn air. Great lighting and plenty of mirrors as two women it was very easy to get ready at the same time

This is a 1950s motel that has been lovingly renovated. They have taken great care to preserve the vintage aspects. Our had old style wood paneling and the bathroom was original, with pink tiles and the old shower that still works very well! Although it is a budget motel, it was very clean and the bed was as comfortable as a Marriott hotel. The units have little outside patios facing a pond, the trees decorated with colored lights, and there is a charming little open air cocktail bar. We loved our vintage stay!

Hotels.com website shows great photos and reviews and an ideal location. So we took a chance. Staff was great, but this is really a cabin in the woods kind of place. TV couldn’t be turned off and on or volume control or channels without going up to the tv controls. Bathroom was so tiny, couldn’t put a toothbrush down. Concern room door wouldn’t lock when we left as we left the electronic lock totally unlocked one whole day. It was priced very low, so if you don’t mind the tiny circular toilet, old tub, and no place for your toiletries, then it’s not bad. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Spacious room with a nice vieuw of the surrounding fields. Free coffee and parking space.

The room is lovely and the property is very nice and well maintained with a pool, restaurant, and club on site. The other guests are respectful, it’s a relaxing quiet place to stay. The bed is too soft for my taste and the shower stall is a tad small — could use a hand held shower head to make showering easier.

The rooms were like walking back into the 1960s. Very limited amenities but the beds were very comfortable. Cute patio view of a small pond with shared outdoor seating.

I’ve been to New Hope many times on a day trip and passed the New Hope Lodge each time. I thought it was different and decided to stay a night. The lodge gives you a cabin in the woods type feeling. The grounds are well kept, the room was comfortable and clean. It appears the owners are slowly renovating. The pool was great as was the on-site bar. I will definitely be returning as I feel one night there wasn’t enough.

Retro feeling drive by motel, not super well maintained. Price was much higher than I'd prefer for the space. Walls are super thin- we could hear the next room so much as sneeze.

Outdated room.. bathroom door feel off. Toilet was stopped up. I understand there are some updated rooms but we unfortunately did not get one. Reeked of old cigarette smell in knotty pine paneling and carpet. The beds were clean and comfortable. The pool was great too. This is a gay destination which we are not so we did feel slightly out of place. Maintenance was quick to fix bathroom door & toliet.

The bed was very comfortable. As a bonus there is a neat little bar in the middle of the motel. Recommended.

Staff were very helpful, as I realized that I wouldn't make it there before the office closed (long delayed flight). So that was very helpful, and they gave me a bit of later checkout the next day. Also much appreciated. This is a bit of a funky little place with some character. The room is dated and could really use a big refresh. However it is clean and quiet. Bed comfortable. Good price for New Hope and close to the center of town. Just stayed one night in order to visit a friend the next day. I would stay again under similar circumstances.

Good place to stay for over night and near to where wished to visit without rushing to go home.

It’s not new so don’t expect shiny fixtures but it’s very clean and perfect for a short stay. It is also a good value for staying in the New Hope area. Close to Wawa and McDonald’s and maybe a mile walk to Main Street. It’s actually a bargain for the area.

This was an old school travel lodge. It was a short walk to downtown New Hope (less than a mile). The room was not surprisingly large and balcony was a bonus. Coffee and light snacks were available in the office for breakfast.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The premise was so cute. Reminiscent of a summer camp but maybe for adults..?? But it’s so a good place to stay for families. Also, it’s located about 7 mins from Peddler’s Village. I’m coming back around Christmas.

I love everything about this property. This was my first time ever here and me and my nine year-old daughter stayed for the night and fell in love with the place and decided we are gonna stay an extended weekend and possibly an entire week great place for adults and kids and adults with kids and families or just adults. It’s great for everybody loved the little bar, the cub room and all the Christmas trees and those beautiful, cute rooms and all the colors and the pool and the view the lights everything about it is just beautiful inside the office. They’re very friendly and accommodating and they have a variety of coffee and tea and muffins and granola bars and all types of things and for travel guides and things to do in the area. Definitely give this place five stars, and I will be here as a regular.
