Easy to access the trains, ports, and downtown. The rooms are quiet and the newly installed steam showers are absolutely amazing. 10 Days in Sorrento and Diamond Suites ticked all the boxes we needed. Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Near to Port and Train Station. The hotel is within a block of private apartments and businesses and we felt safe with the security guard on the gates. It wasn't noisy and sleep wasn't disturbed. Nothing too much trouble for the owner Michele. If you stay in the Diamond room the sunset is lovely from the balcony.

We arrived via Naples and then got a transfer to Sorrento, arriving at the train station. The property is less than a 5 minute walk away so very convenient when bringing luggage and for excursions, most of which pick up/drop off in the same area. There are companies at the station who offer excursions as well (Pompeii, Amalfi coast etc) and the marina for ferries to Ischia, Capri etc is about a 15 minute walk away. The property is in a gated area so felt secure and although on one of the main streets in town we weren't disturbed by noise at all. The main tourist area with the majority of shopping & dining is only a few minutes walk away so the property is really well positioned. The room itself was very clean and tidy with balcony, shower, large and comfortable bed, TV, safe, hairdryer, small ironing board (iron available on request), small fridge, and kettle. The room was serviced daily. We had no complaints about the room and any queries were dealt with quickly by Michele, who runs the place, and could always be contacted by WhatsApp if he wasn't on site. He made our stay really special as he was so friendly and helpful with advice and recommendations - I can't rate him highly enough. We did experience a bit of noise from the property upstairs which Michele was quick to deal with but there's as much a chance of that in any other hotel or AirBnb and it wasn't the fault of this property. I'd certainly be very happy to stay here again if we came back to Sorrento.

Michele was such a great host. The location was amazing! So close to the train, the marina, the shopping and dining! Our room was clean and very nice with plenty of closet space. Can’t wait to stay again. Bonus we could see the fireworks from our balcony.

Excellent stay,perfect if arriving by bus or train as just around the corner from both arrival points. Gated and secure accomodation just off the main street. Room spotless and cleaned daily. Lovely small hotel in great location off main street. Very near station if want to visit Pompeii, Naples etc. Safe, quiet, lovely view from balcony. Great comms with Michele, he made us feel very welcome. Perfect for a trip to Sorrento

Fantastic little hotel in a central location. Beautifully appointed rooms - elegant and stylish design, comfortable bed and bedding, great lighting, towel heater in bathroom, and a steam shower. The balcony was large and perfect for having a meal/snack or relaxing in the afternoon sun with a drink. Valet parking service was a breeze. Michele is a wonderful and gracious host who goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Excellent hotel that I’d recommend to others and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at again. Michele was an amazing host. He was welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home in Diamond Suite. The room was stunning. Everything was super clean and had a luxury feel to it. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Location wise, it couldn't be more central. A very short walk to the train station and main shopping street, bars and restaurants. As it's tucked away from the main road you are not disturbed by any noise from outside. We will definitely stay again if we return to Sorrento.

Stayed in 6 places in Italy at a similar price point and this was greatly overpriced. Similar to an Airbnb as front desk rarely occupied so contact by text though they did answer promptly and some issues were not resolved until the following day. Pleasant manager. Our half used water bottle was put back in fridge instead of replenishing with a new bottle. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain. Only one Powdered coffee provided for the two of us. Coffee spoon left dirty and not cleaned from the day before. Does have a large balcony. Ran out of toilet paper on two occasions. Did not even replace the used paper cups in the bathroom. Mirrors not clean. No towels given on one day. Ironing board but no iron. Location good near a grocery store. Dark, quiet. Plug in for phone in bed frame didn’t work needed to ask for an extension cord to run across room.

Everything was excellent, the hotel is near everywhere and it is very confortable to be at 3 minutes to the train station. The bathroom is big and clean, the bed is awesome! Michele is a kind host too! The only thing to improve would be to give slippers to the guests, because you can hear the footsteps from the other rooms.

Michelle was very nice and accommodating location was walking distance to train, bus, and ferries which was great .Would have been nice if the fridge was cold. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay also the bed was very comfortable which was a total plus.

I loved my stay here. Michele was extremely welcoming, helpful, and you can tell he truly cares. I especially appreciated the effort he made to help me find the suite, without being asked, he sent very detailed instructions and made it super easy to locate, which relieved some stress for me after a long travel day. The suite (green room) was modern, clean, spacious, and in a really convenient location. I especially found the bed to be quite comfortable (I slept for 10hrs straight one night). As a young solo female traveler I felt very safe here, and found this place to be much better than the suites I had stayed at prior to arriving in Sorrento. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic little hotel in a central location. Beautifully appointed rooms - elegant and stylish design, comfortable bed and bedding, great lighting, towel heater in bathroom, and a steam shower. The balcony was large and perfect for having a meal/snack or relaxing in the afternoon sun with a drink. Valet parking service was a breeze. Michele is a wonderful and gracious host who goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Excellent hotel that I’d recommend to others and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at again. Ideal hotel in the centre of sorrento. Modern and quiet in perfection location to explore the area but also other towns on the Amalfi coast due to the ferry port only being 10-15 min walk away. Michele the manager had excellent communication and was more than happy to help before our arrival and during. Couldn’t have asked for a better property for our needs. It made our trip very easy and enjoyable.

We arrived via Naples and then got a transfer to Sorrento, arriving at the train station. The property is less than a 5 minute walk away so very convenient when bringing luggage and for excursions, most of which pick up/drop off in the same area. There are companies at the station who offer excursions as well (Pompeii, Amalfi coast etc) and the marina for ferries to Ischia, Capri etc is about a 15 minute walk away. The property is in a gated area so felt secure and although on one of the main streets in town we weren't disturbed by noise at all. The main tourist area with the majority of shopping & dining is only a few minutes walk away so the property is really well positioned. The room itself was very clean and tidy with balcony, shower, large and comfortable bed, TV, safe, hairdryer, small ironing board (iron available on request), small fridge, and kettle. The room was serviced daily. We had no complaints about the room and any queries were dealt with quickly by Michele, who runs the place, and could always be contacted by WhatsApp if he wasn't on site. He made our stay really special as he was so friendly and helpful with advice and recommendations - I can't rate him highly enough. We did experience a bit of noise from the property upstairs which Michele was quick to deal with but there's as much a chance of that in any other hotel or AirBnb and it wasn't the fault of this property. I'd certainly be very happy to stay here again if we came back to Sorrento.

Staying at Diamond Suites made our trip stress free and were able to have memorable vacation in Sorrento and The Amalfi Coast. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and three minutes away from the train station, which is perfect if you are taking the express train from and to Naples. Michele was very attentive and always available for any inquiries we had and gave us multiple recommendations of places to visit and eat.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean and has an excellent location, just 4 minutes from Tossa Plaza. But most importantly, the people are exceptional. They contacted me a few days before our arrival and provided me with contact numbers in case I needed to reach someone immediately. The number was very useful! Our flights were delayed, so we arrived after 8 p.m. instead of the originally planned 12 noon. I informed the hotel of our late arrival, and we were pleased to find that the front desk staff, Giulio, not only waited for us but also came outside to meet us. How thoughtful! Another example of their care for clients was when they helped us figure out the ferry from Sorrento to Ischia. A few hours after we checked out, Michelle texted me to ensure everything was okay with the ferry and that we arrived safely in Ischia. I was very touched.

it is a cute suite and centrally located to all the restaurants & activities. Micheal was very helpful & responsive to all the questions we had during and prior to our arrival. He made some excellent recommendations for restaurants and tours. We booked the boat tour to Capri through him and it was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Stayed in 6 places in Italy at a similar price point and this was greatly overpriced. Similar to an Airbnb as front desk rarely occupied so contact by text though they did answer promptly and some issues were not resolved until the following day. Pleasant manager. Our half used water bottle was put back in fridge instead of replenishing with a new bottle. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain. Only one Powdered coffee provided for the two of us. Coffee spoon left dirty and not cleaned from the day before. Does have a large balcony. Ran out of toilet paper on two occasions. Did not even replace the used paper cups in the bathroom. Mirrors not clean. No towels given on one day. Ironing board but no iron. Location good near a grocery store. Dark, quiet. Plug in for phone in bed frame didn’t work needed to ask for an extension cord to run across room.

⭐ Terrible experience at Hotel Diamond ⭐ My stay at this hotel was disappointing. I was a victim of a sneaky theft, and $100 was stolen from my safe. I had left an envelope with several bills as a test, and unfortunately, they took my $100. The worst part? When I reported it, the manager Michelle did nothing and completely dismissed my complaint. While filing a police report wasn’t worth it for the amount, it’s unacceptable that theft happens inside this hotel. ⚠️ Be very careful with this place. It is not safe.

Our stay here was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable for our 4 nights exploring the Amalfi Coast. It is in a GREAT location (3 minute walk from the train station, accessible to the main area you want to explore in Sorrento, yet tucked away in a quiet space). You wont get the posh, waterview experience here, but I honestly tthink this is way better...you can see all those views all day and when at restaurants. The savings from staying here well make up for conceeding that. On top of the room and hotel being ideal, Michele (the manager) is a truly genuinely kind man. I had to go to the emergency room and he was checking in with us/helping my husband throughout our stay. He also gave us great recommendations for food, tours, transportation, etc when we were out. You will be in excellent hands at Hotel Diamond and with Michele!

Excellent stay,perfect if arriving by bus or train as just around the corner from both arrival points. Gated and secure accomodation just off the main street. Room spotless and cleaned daily. Lovely small hotel in great location off main street. Very near station if want to visit Pompeii, Naples etc. Safe, quiet, lovely view from balcony. Great comms with Michele, he made us feel very welcome. Perfect for a trip to Sorrento

We loved our stay here, very comfortable and private for the price and for me and my husband! Our host was amazing gave us a lot of great info for the area and came to the rescue quickly when our safe wouldn’t open! Location was perfect, short walk to ferry which we took everyday, lots of great food and shopping that’s not as crazy busy as the main town center ( which is also just a short walk away) we would stay here again!

I especially appreciated the effort he made to help me find the suite, without being asked, he sent very detailed instructions and made it super easy to locate, which relieved some stress for me after a long travel day. The suite (green room) was modern, clean, spacious, and in a really convenient location. I especially found the bed to be quite comfortable (I slept for 10hrs straight one night). As a young solo female traveler I felt very safe here, and found this place to be much better than the suites I had stayed at prior to arriving in Sorrento. I can’t recommend this place enough!
